Chapter 490 Make Some Trouble Before Dying

When Dorothy came out of the bathroom, she had no idea who had called Credence or what they talked about. He replied curtly over the phone, “I got it.”. He then quickly hung up the phone. He raised his head and showed her a gentle smile. Ignoring the injuries on his body, he turned his wheelchair around with both hands and rolled out of the ward. He gradually increased his speed.
From how anxious he was, it seemed like he was trying to avoid her.
Dorothy frowned and chased after him. She stared at his stern back and hurriedly asked, “Credence, what on earth has happened?”
Credence didn’t look back. He replied with a troubled voice, “Marvin called me. He said that something happened during his mission.”
When Dorothy heard that it was related to Marvin, she was relieved. She watched his slender back slowly disappear out of the door. She then quietly let out a sigh of relief.
As long as it wasn’t about his body’s injuries, she wasn’t worried.

The moment Credence entered the elevator, he bumped into Jonathan. He had sent Belle to Germaine for her to take care of her. When he heard about Rosalie’s problem, he rushed over from the other end of the corridor, cursing as he ran. He ran so fast, he almost bumped into Credence.
Credence was indifferent to Jonathon’s flustered state. He asked with an unbothered look on his face, “What’s the hurry? That nurse ran off with some other guy because your body isn’t good enough?”
“D*mn, Credence, be honest, which part of me isn’t good enough? Back then, I could go seven times in one night. With Minnie’s physique, I could please her until she cried.”
Jonathan helped push Credence into the elevator. He playfully acted upset and glared at him. “Credence, you must have used that charming face of yours to seduce Dorothy! Wait, no, I’ve been led astray by you. Come on, let’s get down to business.”
Jonathan slapped himself and said indignantly, “Three minutes ago, when I took Belle to the examination department for a check-up, I got a call from Juelz. He couldn’t even keep an eye on that b*tch Rosalie for whatever reason. Somehow, she managed to steal a fruit knife and threatened to kill herself. She said that she would only agree to donate her bone marrow to Belle if she saw you. If not, she would rather die with Belle and let you two live.”
“Juelz is such a stupid man. He can think of so many ways to pursue Dorothy but hasn’t a clue on how to handle Rosalie. What the hell? I guess he didn’t have the guts to call you after screwing this up, that’s why he called me and used me to tell you!”
Credence listened to him quietly. His face was gloomy, and he didn’t speak.
“Oh, by the way, Credence, Rosalie still wants to make some trouble before she dies. She’s threatened you with her life. Do you think something is wrong with her brain?”
“Maybe she’s like you? Apart from s*x, there’s nothing else in your head.”
Credence looked up and squinted at Jonathan. His deep eyes suddenly turned cold. “She knows that I’ll never let her go. She knows that she won’t be able to save herself even after saving Belle! She’s using her bone marrow to negotiate terms with me.”
“Ha, then she must be overthinking this. She used to scheme against you and your father, and even tried to kill Dorothy many times over, which almost ruined your family. She should suffer a million deaths!”
“Letting her die would be too easy. I want her to experience a fate worse than death!” Credence sneered. His cold and powerful aura caused Jonathan to tremble behind him.
Ten minutes later, Jonathan pushed Credence into the ward where Rosalie was kept. A line of doctors and nurses stood before them. Juelz stood in front of them and roared, “Rosalie, what the f*ck do you want? Do you think Credence will feel sorry for you if you force him to come here? Stop f*cking dreaming. He would rather pity a stray dog than you. Rosalie, so long as you put down the knife and obediently donate your bone marrow for Belle, I can at least promise you will keep your life. But if you force Credence to come here, you’re just hastening your death sentence.”
After being stuck in a deadlock with the crazed Rosalie for the entire morning, Juelz’s patience was completely drained. His dark eyes were brimming with murderous intent.
F*ck, if it weren’t for the fact that Belle’s life depended on this b*tch’s bone marrow, he would have rushed over and killed her. There was no need for him to hesitate.
“Don’t come in, all of you, stay back.”
Rosalie leaned against the wall of the ward, her eyes were bloodshot red. She screamed hoarsely, “Juelz, this conflict between Credence, Dorothy, and I has nothing to do with you. What are you even doing here? In Dorothy’s eyes, you’re just a backup. What do you get for treating her so well? How do you benefit from this? She still kicked you away for Credence. As long as he exists, she will never fall in love with you, ever! But, it’s not impossible. So long as you and I cooperate, I promise you that you’ll be able to earn Dorothy’s love. What do you say? Do you want to work with me?”
“Work with you? You as good as dead, stop trying to be such a b*tch!”
Juelz’s ashen face radiated with terrifying rage. “I’m Dory’s cousin. No matter how much I like her, I can’t have her. Didn’t your boss tell you that?”
“So what if you’re her cousin? As long as you want her, then there are countless ways to get her.”
Rosalie laughed coldly, “Mr. Sherman, you come from the Sherman family. Don’t you know how many dirty secrets exist in your family? As far as I know, your eldest aunt is called Ysabelle. The dirty things she had done in the past are no less than that of a wh*re. Marrying her brother, hooking up with him, and using Jeremy to kill him. Some people’s life shouldn’t have ended the way they did! Well, it doesn’t matter if I die, but those heartless people will be prosecuted sooner or later.”
What did she mean that some people shouldn’t be killed?
Juelz frowned, he had a hunch that there was more to this.
His father had died so many years ago. He saw his grandfather shedding tears as he placed his father’s body into the Sherman family tomb.
What’s more, even if his father were alive today, why would he have ignored the Sherman family for so long and allow Jeremy to squeeze everything out of them?
He didn’t believe Rosalie. The only thought he had in his mind was that this b*tch was still a huge pain to him despite being on the verge of death.
When Jonathan pushed Credence to the door of the ward, he happened to hear Rosalie’s last outburst. His pupils shrank sharply as though they were frozen, and felt an overwhelming chill throughout his body.
Rosalie wasn’t the type of person who would do something for no reason. There had to be a reason behind everything she did.
At the thought of that, he turned his eyes towards Jonathan and quietly issued an order, “Call Marvin at once, ask him to find out who is backing Rosalie and if the person has anything to do with the Sherman family.”
