Chapter 480 Tell Me, Is This Real?

Book:My Husband Hates Me Published:2024-5-1

Dorothy pushed the door open and walked in. She saw Rosalie tied onto a small chair with some strong rope. She couldn’t move at all. Her face was pale, and her eyes were filled with anger and hatred. Her lips were pale, and her face looked distorted.
It was obvious that she wasn’t doing well.
Rosalie heard the creaking sound of the door being opened. She slowly raised her head and saw Dorothy entering with a huge belly. She relaxed for a moment but soon came back to her senses. Her bloodshot eyes were cold and filled with jealousy and hatred. “Dorothy, you’re as stubborn as a cockroach. I couldn’t kill you six years ago, and now six years later, Jenciga’s top killer, Melanie, couldn’t kill you either…”
“I know, you’re here to see me suffer. Ever since I was young, I have always wanted to compete against you. I wanted to prove that I was better than you, because I was the noble lady of the Fisher family. Then the two of us fell in love with the same man.”
“At first, I thought that with my father’s wealth and my own means, I would definitely get to marry Credence and be his wife. Who would have thought that in the end, you, the scheming b*tch, would be the one to marry him.”
“Not only did you marry him, you even gave birth to his child. You gave birth to a daughter for him six years ago, and now, you are going to give birth to a son for him.”
Rosalie laughed coldly. “I heard that Credence is about to die. He hasn’t woken up for the past three days and is still on the operating table. He might not wake up for the rest of his life… Haha, serves him right. This is what he gets for being so cruel to the Fisher family. And your daughter, she’s had leukemia since birth. That’s her retribution! Dorothy, this is what you get for being so ruthless to my parents.”
While she was in Jenciga, apart from occasionally sleeping with her secret benefactor, she would focus on finding ways to make use of Melanie, to deal with Credence and Dorothy.
She thought that a top agent was supposed to be skilled and ferocious. Even if she couldn’t kill Credence, ending Dorothy’s life would be a piece of cake. However, she didn’t expect Melanie to be so useless. She died before she and Credence could even go a few rounds of fighting.
When she heard that Melanie had fallen to her death that night, Rosalie was so angry, she couldn’t extinguish the anger in her heart. She withdrew a large amount of cash and borrowed some capable men from some wealthy friends. After that, she quietly arrived at Talco City. As soon as she entered the hotel she booked, she was caught by Jeremy’s men before she even had the chance to wash her face. They pointed guns at her head and took her to Jeremy.
When she was dragged to Jeremy’s place, she was whipped severely before she even had a chance to see his face.
The session lasted three hours. When it was over, not a single piece of her skin was left intact.
As she was on her last breath, Jeremy finally stopped with a satisfied look on his face. He then threw her to Wilson. Wilson simply applied ointment on her body and threw her at a dark corner.
By the time she woke up, she could smell disinfectant all around her. She realized that Wilson had taken her to an office in a hospital. Her hands and feet were tied to a chair. She couldn’t escape.
Even if she had the strength to break the ropes, the room was completely sealed, and there weren’t any windows. The door was firmly locked outside and Juelz was guarding the door. There was no way for her to escape.
When she saw Dorothy, Rosalie knew that there was no hope of escape anymore.
Dorothy stared at her with an icy-cold gaze that was as sharp as a blade.
“If retribution really exists, then you should be the first it claims.”
Dorothy took two steps forward and walked up to Rosalie. She lowered her head and stared at her with a cold smile. “Rosalie, during the years when the Fisher family raised me, I never did anything bad to any of you. I have never done anything wrong to your parents or you. But what about you and your parents? Do you really need me to tell you how all of you treated me?”
“Rosalie, you have to remember that in this world, you must pay for your actions!”
“Pay? Fine.” Rosalie bit her lips that were trembling from anger. Her face grew pale, she looked like a ghost. “What kind of price do you want me to pay?”
“Jeremy sent you to me because your bone marrow is a match for my daughter’s.”
As soon as she said that, Dorothy saw Rosalie’s face change once more. She smiled happily and said, “You heard me, I want to use your bone marrow to save my daughter’s life. The doctor said that if once isn’t enough, we’ll need to do it a few more times to ensure that it’s effective.”
“You mean, you want to take the bone marrow from my spine to save your daughter’s life?” Rosalie thought about this for a while, she didn’t expect Jeremy to send her here for this. She widened her eyes and hissed, “Once isn’t enough, and you want me to do it a couple of times? Dorothy, do you intend to torture me to death?”
“I can’t guarantee if you’ll survive.” Dorothy laughed contemptuously. Her tone was sarcastic. “It all depends on how resilient you are.”
“Don’t pretend to be all righteous about this. I know exactly what you’re thinking. Dorothy, I’d advise you to let me go. If anything happens to me, my backer won’t let any of you go, not you, Credence, or Jeremy. He won’t let any of you go. All of you will be sent to hell one by one.”
“Rosalie, you’re such a vicious woman. Who would be willing to help you?” Dorothy interrupted her. “You don’t need to worry about my problems. Just worry about yourself. After your bone marrow has been donated, Juelz will send you to prison. You’ll have to pay with your life for murdering someone! You and I both know this.”
Upon hearing the word “prison”, Rosalie took a deep breath. Half a month ago, she received a report for a pregnancy test. Originally, she wanted to surprise her benefactor. However, unexpectedly, he told her even more shocking news.
This secret was enough to destroy Dorothy and Credence’s entire relationship.
Thinking of this, she held back her jealousy and hatred. She stared at Dorothy’s soft eyes and said with a gloomy smile, “Dorothy, Jeremy is your half-brother, but there is one other thing you may not know. Credence and Jeremy are much closer than you think.”
“What do you mean?”
“Oh, you really don’t know! But from what I know, Credence already found out the truth a month and a half ago. He’s been hiding it from you, do you know why?”
“Why?”
Dorothy felt nervous and was flustered. Her heart was beating wildly as though whatever Rosalie was going to say next would summon a bolt of lightning from the sky. It would smash her face and blow her to pieces.
“Jeremy is Sheldon’s illegitimate son. He and Credence are half-brothers. The reason why Jeremy has turned into a psycho who loves torturing women, is because Sheldon refuses to acknowledge him as his own son. However, your cheap biological mother Ysabelle loved Sheldon so much that she thought of every possible way to marry him, yet she only received Sheldon’s merciless abuses. Over time, Ysabelle vented her feelings of loss and despair onto Jeremy… Neither the mother nor the son came out normal. They are both psychopaths.”
Rosalie relished the sight of Dorothy’s face turning pale. She smiled smugly and added, “Also, because of Ysabelle’s intervention, she had indirectly killed Credence’s mother. Dorothy, you and Credence have so much bad blood between your families. I would like to see how the two of you are going to get along with each other.”
“Rosalie, that’s all nonsense!” Dorothy couldn’t believe such an outrageous story. She slapped Rosalie and said, “If you spout any more garbage, I will send you to prison right away!”
Her slap nearly exhausted Dorothy’s whole body. Rosalie’s face was slapped so hard her body swung to the side, and blood slowly flowed out from the corners of her lips. Accompanied with her deathly pale face, she looked extremely ugly.
But Rosalie didn’t feel any pain. She laughed crazily, “Dorothy, beating me isn’t going to change the fact that your mother is a b*tch, nor does it change the fact that she indirectly killed Credence’s mother. If you don’t believe me, go and ask him about Ysabelle… No wonder I hate you so much ever since I was a kid. I hated you. As expected, both you and your mother are b*tches.”
Faced with the crazed Rosalie, Dorothy didn’t say anything else. She slowly turned around and walked out, trying her best to digest the shocking news she had just heard.
She bit her lower lip, trying hard not to shed any tears, but the rims of her eyes turned red, as though tears would flow out of her eyes at any moment.
If what Rosalie said was true, then Ysabelle had interfered with Credence’s parents’ marriage and caused him to lose his mother when he was very young. What should she do about that?
It turned out that the truth about her life was only getting messier.
Credence chose to hide the truth from her. Was it because he didn’t want her to face all these embarrassing truths and headaches?
Dorothy closed her eyes and gently placed her hand on her belly. Her lips tasted bitter.
Juelz waited anxiously at the door on the corridor. “Dory, what did you talk about with that b*tch? You’ve been talking for nearly thirty minutes. Wait… Why do you look so weird? Tell me, what kind of nonsense did she tell you?”
His eyes were burning. He wanted to rush forward and hold her in his arms to comfort her but he remembered who he was to her. His hands were stretched out and froze in mid-air like two awkward sticks. It was embarrassing and ridiculous.
Dorothy didn’t notice this. She just looked at him, she looked very lost. Suddenly, a bitter tear slipped down her eyes. “Juelz, Ysabelle, she… she is my newly-reconciled mother, but at the same time, she was also Credence’s father’s mistress. She even killed his mother. Tell me, is this true?”
