Credence’s expression was calm as he steadily put the car to a stop. Just as he rolled the windows down, he saw Marvin and Jonathan jump down from the two Land Rovers. They walked towards Credence’s car window and stared inside.
Jonathan threw the cigarette butt in his lips away, as he pulled open the door of the passenger seat, and sat inside.
“Credence, be honest, did you stay with Dorothy last night? Looks like she’s finally decided to forgive you! Congratulations! Look at that satisfied face of yours. You look overjoyed. Gee, it seems that one good f*cking session really can solve anything, if not, then two should do.”
Credence frowned and spat out a mouthful of smoke. He narrowed his eyes, with a silly smile on his face, he said, “Get lost! If you have so much time to be concerned about me, I dare you to seduce Minnie.”
“I’m just concerned about your relationship with Dorothy.” Jonathan was speechless. He lit a cigarette and thought of something. He looked at Credence sitting on the driver’s seat all bright-eyed. “Credence, you didn’t even get close to Dorothy, did you? Haha, I bet you didn’t even get to touch her hand, huh?”
As soon as Marvin saw Credence’s tired and hard expression, he knew that he must have hit a dead end with Dorothy. He immediately gave Jonathan a swift kick.
Jonathan understood he didn’t have the courage to provoke Credence again. He shrank back and hid behind Marvin. Taking this advantage, he pushed Marvin forward.
Seeing how cowardly he was, Marvin snorted and kicked him away. Then, he turned towards Credence. “Credence, one of my men accidentally ran into Juelz and Melanie in the underground boxing field. Do you want to take our men over and take them all out at once?”
“No need! Let your men sneak in and try to listen in on what they’re discussing.” Credence looked up and gave him a grim stare. “This time, my goal is Melanie and only Melanie! If Jeremy and Juelz are involved, we’ll be stretched too thin. We won’t be able to guarantee Melanie’s defeat.”
Moreover, both Juelz and Jeremy had a complicated relationship with Dorothy. No matter who he hurt, it would only further damage his relationship with Dorothy, which was already very fragile.
“Alright, Credence, I will do that right away. We will do as you say.”
Credence squinted his long and narrow eyes. “Thanks!”
Because of his own personal problems, he had troubled Jonathan and Marvin. They treated his business as something more important than their own and they went out of their way to help him. He knew how hard they worked.
Now, they even drove out here to check in on him and his situation with Dorothy.
Credence looked at the two big men outside his car and nodded. There was nothing to say. They understood each other. It was an understanding they had built over the years.
Marvin immediately understood what he meant and nodded back. “Credence, I think I’ll head over there. You and Jonathan should go back to the hospital and check our deployment again to see if we’ve missed anything. We either do this right, or we don’t do it at all. We have to kill Melanie.”
He had learned about this woman’s savagery a while ago.
If they failed to kill Melanie, there would be a lot more trouble in the future.

In the underground boxing field.
Plenty of influential and powerful people of Talco City were here. These people had long grown bored of all the beautiful women. They enjoyed these types of primitive fighting with lots of flesh, blood, and bones.
It was also the weekend, so the place was packed, and the atmosphere extremely lively.
Juelz walked into a closed room. He squinted his eyes to adjust his vision to the dim lighting and found that Jeremy, along with a tall and slim woman, had arrived. They sat on a European-styled sofa with red wine in their hands, one on the left and the other on the right.
Seeing him enter, Jeremy laughed, and Juelz immediately felt a blood-curling feeling inside him. “How punctual! Not bad, you’ve grown up. Right on time.”
Juelz snorted, walked to another sofa, and sat down. He slowly lit a cigarette. “Enough small talk. Since everyone is here, tell me, how are we going to do this?”
Melanie had heard a lot about Jeremy’s abilities, especially when she was forced to stab herself last time. She was somewhat fearful of him. Now, seeing the man who had just entered, she sneered. Apart from his fair skin, it didn’t look like there was any reason to cooperate with him at all. She spoke in a Jenciga dialect. “Jeremy, are you sure we need to make a deal with him? I want Credence, and you want his power and status, what does he want?”
“Let’s get to know each other first. His name is Juelz, and he’s my cousin.” Jeremy spat out the cigarette in his mouth and smiled. “He only wants Credence’s woman. You know, that weak b*tch you often talk about.”
Hearing Juelz’s purpose and knowing that he only wanted Dorothy, Melanie licked her lips and smiled, “You men really do have bad taste. What’s there to like about a woman that I can kill in one punch?”
Jeremy shook the glass of wine in his hand, narrowed his eyes, and said, “That’s something you wouldn’t understand. There are all kinds of women. There are benefits to being weak, as there are being strong.”
Melanie called her a weak b*tch and despised her, and Juelz, who was sitting opposite her, got angry. He glared at her. “If we are here to cooperate, then let’s just get down to business.”
In his opinion, this tough woman in front of him looked like a ferocious wolf. She was ugly and fierce, nothing compared to Dorothy’s gentle beauty.
As soon as Juelz finished shouting, a bright flash flew out of Melanie’s hand. With a swoosh, it firmly landed in between his legs.
“F*ck you, Jeremy, what monster did you find to cooperate with us this time?”
Juelz’s expressions changed. With a roar, he sank deeper into the sofa he was sitting on.
F*ck it, if Melanie’s aim was off by just one centimeter, that fruit knife would have cleaved off his manhood.
Melanie strode over, reached over, and pulled out the fruit knife. She went back to her seat and sneered, “If you dare to shout at me again, I will rip off your manhood, strip all of Dorothy’s clothes off, and let you experience what it feels like to not be able to do anything aside from watch.”
Hearing this, Juelz felt a shock of pain. He contemplated if this collaboration would risk more harm.
But he was already here, and if he did not participate, then he would be dead before he could even touch the door.
Whatever. He’d just take things one step at a time.
Jeremy keenly observed his surroundings. When Juelz and Melanie quieted down, he picked up his glass and flashed an evil smile. “Since you two have found some chemistry, let’s discuss how to deal with Credence in detail.”
“Jeremy, let me make this clear. You can deal with Credence, but you can’t kill him or cripple him. I want him in one piece.”
Jeremy glanced at Melanie leisurely. “Would an unharmed Credence pique your fancy? Don’t forget that he could never get hard for you back in the army.”
Despite being poked in her sore spot, Melanie did not get angry. She smiled. “Don’t worry about that. I have some medicine in hand. It doesn’t matter if Credence says he can’t get hard, I’ll make him hard for a whole week.”
Juelz, who was standing beside her, took a deep breath.
If this disgusting woman really drugged Credence for a whole week, how could he survive?
If this woman could be so cruel to the man she liked, would she really let Dory go?
Juelz regretted rushing over so rashly. He made up his mind that he would take things one step at a time.
Seeing Jeremy and Melanie having such a heated discussion, Juelz also chimed in a few times. He feigned eagerness in getting Dorothy.
In the end, Juelz excused himself and went to the bathroom when he felt that the discussion was coming to an end.
Almost everyone outside was under Jeremy’s employ. It was hard for strangers to get in, so Jeremy didn’t need to say anything. He just waved his hand and motioned for him to leave.
“Alright, you guys go ahead. I will be done in a few minutes.”
Juelz tried to calm his rapidly beating heart and casually stood up from the sofa. With a cigarette in his mouth, he kicked his black leather shoes under his feet and walked out like a thug.
He followed the arrows as instructed and soon entered the bathroom. A vigorous shadow rushed out of the door behind him and appeared in front of him as fast as lightning!
