Dorothy, Germaine, and Belle walked out of the restaurant. Wilson had been waiting for them in his black Rolls-Royce. He nodded and smiled, “Miss Germaine, Miss Fisher, please get in. The boss has tasked me to send you back to the hospital.”
“No need! I fear that I won’t be able to leave that car alive.”
Germaine was still frightened of Jeremy. Her beautiful face was stiff, and she was quick to refuse Wilson’s enthusiastic proposal.
When they arrived at the restaurant, Germaine drove. She had fetched Dorothy and Belle.
Germaine’s hand was badly trampled on by Melanie, and Dorothy had bandaged it. She couldn’t hold on to the steering wheel, so she asked the restaurant owner for a driver to send them back.
The restaurant owner found a designated driver. She was a middle-aged woman with a serious demeanor who didn’t speak much. After Dorothy and the others got into the car, she started the car and carefully drove away.
Jeremy sat in the back of the car and stared at Germaine’s fiery red sports car as it gradually disappeared from sight. Looking back, he found spots of blood on the air conditioner pipe outside the broken window from the second floor.
It was from Melanie’s injured abdomen when she jumped down.
Jeremy tilted his head and spat out the cigarette butt from his mouth. His face was pale. “Start the car, let’s head back to the company.” Wilson, who was sitting in the driver’s seat was surprised.
Wilson turned around, “Boss, aren’t we going to follow Miss Germaine? What if that psychotic woman ambushes Miss Germaine on her way out?”
“Unless Melanie was suicidal, she wouldn’t plan an ambush when she’s been seriously injured.” Jeremy scoffed with a wry smile.
Wilson followed his gaze and saw the mottled blood on the pipe through the window. He was shocked. “D*mn, she managed such a narrow escape. She’s f*cking awesome!”
“If she wasn’t such a threat, Credence wouldn’t have put so much effort in sending Dorothy and Belle out of Talco City. In the end, he f*cked up. Dorothy almost lost the child in her womb, and she hasn’t forgiven him for that. He deserved it!”
Jeremy snorted sarcastically, but he didn’t hide his joy from secretly taking pleasure in other people’s misfortune.
Wilson wasn’t as cold-blooded, he couldn’t help but sigh. “Boss, Dorothy’s your cousin, how could you not care about her life? No wonder Germaine calls you an inhumane pervert. I, for one, think that Germaine is right about you.”
Wilson suddenly felt his whole body enveloped by a sudden chill. Suddenly, he heard Jeremy’s gloomy voice. His words seemed to have made it’s way to his heart. “Wilson, do you know how my former assistant died?”
“How?”
Wilson was afraid. He could feel a cold sweat slowly dripping out from his heart. It was so cold, he trembled.
“He talked too much, and I whipped him to death!”
“Cough cough…”
Wilson trembled with fear. His body curled downward on the chair, as he drooped his shoulders and was overcome with depression. He cried out, “Boss, boss, I was wrong. I won’t speak anymore. From now on, just take me as a mute, wait, no, I am a mute.”
If Miss Germaine ignored his boss, then the boss would definitely vent his anger on him. “Oh, my, how terrible my life is.”

On the second floor of the restaurant, Credence was still standing in place. He watched Dorothy as she got into the red sports car with Belle in her arms. His dark eyes were looking even wearier.
Things had gotten so out of hand, what part of his planning failed?
Firstly, in order to cope with Melanie’s unreasonable demands, he deliberately chose this remote restaurant to avoid meeting acquaintances.
However, he had never expected his plans to be disrupted so quickly.
He never expected Jeremy to book a private room with this restaurant as well. He certainly didn’t expect him to see everything that happened between Melanie and him.
Considering how much Jeremy wanted to see him in trouble, naturally, he’d tell Germaine everything. Then she’d be upset and bring Dorothy and Belle over to cause a huge fuss.
Sure enough, Melanie left angrily, and his dissension with Dorothy only got deeper.
He was at a total loss on what to do with Dorothy, or what would become of them.
What’s more, Melanie was irritated again. That fierce woman with blood in her hands would definitely pin all the blame on Dorothy.
She’s in serious danger!
Credence stood in place with a very hard frown on his face. His eyes filled with determination.
Melanie. That woman can not be allowed to live.
Marvin came over once he heard the news. He walked up to the second floor, which was in a mess, where he spotted Credence. His gaze was fixed at the surface of the outer wall. It was stained with blood from Melanie’s lower abdomen. Marvin walked over. “Credence, since Melanie is seriously injured, things will be a lot easier now. I’m more worried of her when she would work in the shadows, always waiting to strike.”
“You mentioned over the phone that Jeremy asked her to stab herself with a dagger. The part where she stabbed herself should be her pelvic cavity. If she doesn’t get treatment, then she’ll have complications in the future if she decides to get pregnant.”
“With how obsessed Melanie is with you, she must really want to marry you and have your children. She’s definitely going to a hospital for surgery.”
” We just need to investigate every hospital in Talco City, to find her.”
“I thought the same thing, Marvin.”
After Marvin settled the bill with the restaurant owner, they walked back to Credence’s black Maybach together.
In the car, Marvin asked, “Credence, your woman must be in a horrible mood. Do you want to go to the hospital to see her?”
“There’s no need for that.” Credence narrowed his eyes, lit a cigarette, and took a puff. “Let’s head to my office, call Jonathan and the others, let’s figure out Melanie’s plans first.”
“What about Dorothy?”
“Juelz can take care of her.”
Credence was as calm as a pool of stagnant water. His expressions were hidden behind a thick layer of smoke. No one could not see through it.
Marvin asked, “Are you really going to let Juelz take care of her?”
Marvin could see he was only focused on smoking and sighed deeply. “That works too! Besides, time is critical, we need to deal with Melanie. You shouldn’t be distracted by Dorothy. But, can you really trust Juelz’s skills in protecting Dorothy against Melanie?”
“Benjamin has arranged a group of bodyguards for them. They might not be able to beat Melanie, but they could buy us enough time to get there.”
“That will do.”
Marvin knew Credence was only feigning a calm demeanor. He knew all too well that the blood-thirsty and murderous intent in his bones was ready for action.
He had his sights on killing Melanie for good!
