Chapter 109 Agreement

Book:My Husband Hates Me Published:2024-5-1

In the Fisher family’s villa, Rosalie was wearing beautiful silk pajamas as she stood in the middle of the bedroom. She was making a phone call with one hand, and rubbing her painful temples with her other. Her vicious expression could still be seen through her plain makeup.
She was not using her usual phone. She was using a SIM card that she had bought with someone else’s identity card, and there was only one number saved in the phone too.
After the call was connected, the phone rang for about twenty seconds before someone finally answered.
“It’s me.”
Before the other person could even say anything, she anxiously opened her mouth and spoke, “Credence is now starting to suspect me. He even found out that those gangsters that were hired had been sent to Monticello. If he finds those people, it’s likely that he will find out everything that I’ve done before. I don’t want to lose Credence, nor do I want to go to jail…”
“Could you do me a favor, and make them shut their mouths up forever?”
On the other end of the phone, the man replied while chuckling sinisterly, “Miss Fisher, love has made you blind, and it has also made you lose your mind! An hour ago, I had already sent someone to kill them. Four of them have died, and the last one is in his last moment. Credence’s friend Marvin Jules has taken him away.”
After listening to his words, Rosalie’s face paled, and her hands, which were holding the mobile phone, started trembling. She asked, “What? He has been taken away by Marvin? Why did you leave one person alive?”
“Because that will make things more fun and interesting.”
The next second, Rosalie heard a monotonous sound from the receiver, which meant that the call had been cut off.
She dared not call him again. The man whom she had called, looked gentle and refined on the surface, but was actually a horrible man. He was extremely cruel.
Rosalie was so angry that she threw the phone on the bed. She went to the wine cabinet, took out a bottle of imported red wine and a transparent glass. She filled it up and finished it all in one gulp.
A look of resentment and anxiety flashed across her clean, fair face.
The medical records, which had been clearly written in black and white appeared in her mind, as well as the disdain on Credence’s handsome face when he had thrown it to her.
There was no doubt that he had really fallen in love with Dorothy and he did not just like her.
Was Dorothy his type?
Dorothy looked gentle and elegant, but her figure was curvy and graceful, and she was charming down to her bones.
Back then, she had been certain that Credence had always hated Dorothy. So what if he married Dorothy?
She had thought that way because from the beginning till the end, Credence had shown her the tiny bit of love and care he had. Rosalie had assumed that she was the true winner.
However, she was now anxious.
After their divorce, Dorothy had aroused Credence’s interest even more, and he was unable to hold himself back.
Men were all like this. They always wanted what they couldn’t have, and always did not treasure what they possessed.
Rosalie smiled coldly. She poured bright red liquid into her glass, and gulped it down.
That horrible devil-like man was just like Credence. He only used her as an insignificant pawn and had never cared about her safety at all.
That wouldn’t do! She had to make that thug die before he had the chance to wake up!
Who else was powerful enough to help her?
Rosalie set down her wine glass, and she frowned as she paced around the room in her exquisite high heels.
She thought about everyone she knew and who she could use. Rosalie desperately realized that no one else could help her except for that devil.
She stared at the string of numbers that she had just dialed on her phone, and tried to figure out what price she would have to pay in order to get him to help her.
The phone rang for a long time, and the other side answered it impatiently. With a low and slow laugh, he asked in a steady tone, “What is it this time?”
Rosalie wiped her pale face harshly and asked in a trembling voice, “Please, can you help me get rid of that last guy?”
“Miss Fisher, you’ve given me everything you can. You don’t have any more bargaining chips that can move me anymore.”
Rosalie held her breath for a long time. Her fingernails were almost piercing through her palms, but in the end, she chuckled charmingly, “Let’s make an agreement! If you’re willing to continue to help me break Credence and Dorothy up, I will help you with whatever you want, but are unable to have in this world.”
The other end of the line paused for less than five seconds. Then, the man replied coldly, “Okay.”
As soon as he said that, Rosalie felt her entire body relax. Her heart, that had leaped to her throat, slowly dropped back down.
When she came back to her senses, she felt the pain in her palms, and her eyes flashed with hatred. She found a photo of her and Dorothy from many years ago in the drawer. She used her sharp fingernails to puncture Dorothy’s face, arms, and body in the photo like knife stabs.

In the hospital ward, Dorothy had stayed there till her last day of leave that Ivana had helped her to apply for.
Many pregnant women, who also needed to be hospitalized to keep their fetus, would lose a lot of weight due to morning sickness. Not only did Dorothy not lose weight, under Juelz’s earnest care, she had become fatter and more energetic instead.
As the baby in her belly moved more and more frequently, Dorothy was no longer as silent as before, and she liked to chat more and more. What she talked about the most every day was the arrangements that she would make after the baby was born.
Her child had always been the main focus in her plans. Credence was not involved, nor was Juelz.
That failed marriage of hers had consumed all of her courage and passion for love.
Juelz was happy that Dorothy had completely forgotten about Credence, but he was worried that she was just remaining silent about it. He was worried that, in a decaying corner of her heart, Credence’s name was still vaguely engraved there.
His rationality told him that he should not ask her about it, but he still could not hold himself back and asked, “Dory, after you leave Talco City when you get out of prison, will you continue to stay a single mother?”
What he wanted to say was, “I’m willing to accompany you as long as you want me to.”
“Of course! I’ve been satisfied ever since I knew that my baby was still alive.”
Dorothy stared at Juelz for a long time. Then, she smiled and said, “Juelz, thank you for your company, and thank you for taking care of me. I wish to make my own decisions in the future. I also believe that I can raise my child myself. Don’t waste your future any more because of me, alright?”
“What do you mean by wasting my future?”
Juelz was so angry that he almost jumped up. However, when he saw Dorothy’s gentle and clear eyes, his anger dissipated. He cocked an eyebrow and shouted angrily, “Dorothy, you can’t do that! I don’t care. I won’t agree to this. You said that I will be the child’s father, and I will keep that identity till the very end.”
“Dory, you can’t abandon me after all the chaos. You’re abandoning me after seducing me!”
“Juelz…”
Dorothy did not know whether she should laugh or cry as she looked at the howling man. They stared at each other for quite a while. In the end, Dorothy made a compromise and ended the topic.
“Alright, alright, I admit defeat. Just ignore everything that I’ve said just now.”
Dorothy smiled helplessly. After that, she looked at Juelz, whose face was full of joy, and said seriously, “I hope that you will keep the child a secret for me. This is my own child, and they will have nothing to do with Credence.”
In the future, he would definitely have a child that belonged to him, but this child was hers, and only hers.
Upon hearing this, Juelz frowned and remained silent for a long time.
After a long time, he looked at Dorothy with a complicated expression and asked bitterly, “Dory, are you still in love with him?”
