Around 11PM in the night, Natasha was awoken as a result of some strange sounds before her house. She grew suspicious that something may be going on since this wasn’t her first night here.
Natasha went to her window side and opened it, she checked for traces of anyone but she couldn’t sight anyone. She then went to where her computer is and began to check through the CCTV cameras. All of a sudden, she saw two men trying to break in through the back door.
Isn’t this estate generally secured? Afterall, the richest people in the city live here. How is it possible for these two nuisance to find their way in and who could be trying to hurt her? Who else could it be if not Zara and Ruby. She thought to herself.
She came prepared for those two this time. Taking two men down will be easy. Natasha checked around the environment to be sure there weren’t more men. Then she continued to watch the men as they worked hard to break the security door.
It took them forty five minutes before they found their way in. They were already tired and sweating but they were with guns.
They began to navigate their way in, all of a sudden, there was a loud thud. Natasha had thrown a hammer right to the center of the head of one of the men and he went down immediately. The second man quickly cocked his gun and directed it to the left and to the right in fear, trying to find his target but he didn’t see anyone.
He looked at his colleague who was on the floor, lifeless. How dangerous is the woman here? Well, he was with a gun so he had the upper hand. The assassin thought to himself.
As he moved steadily, he suddenly sighted a sto being thrown at him, he guided it instinctively but before he could balance himself, Natasha appeared and struck him at the jugular. He lost consciousness at once.
Natasha smirked at the two men now laying on the floor.
When it was very early in the morning of the following day, Natasha went to the room she had kept the two men. They were already awake but they couldn’t speak as she was already gagging their mouths, neither could they move as she had tied them to a metal chair.
“Who sent you?” Natasha asked but those men didn’t make any sound. They just kept looking at Natasha fiercely.
“Don’t underestimate what I can do to the both of you, I’ll ask again, who sent you?”
Still, the men remained quiet. So Natasha walked closer to the one at the left and pulled off the gag in his mouth and then plugged in an electrocuting machine to his body, once she turned it on, the man screamed in agony for a long time. When he was almost giving up on life, Natasha turned it off.
“Who sent you?” Natasha asked, ready to turn on the electrocuting machine again.
Panting heavily in pain, the man answered, “Mrs Ivan.”
Of course, Natasha knew it was Zara. She just wanted to confirm. “She asked you to kill me?”
The man nodded and quickly spoke, “please don’t kill me. Please.”
“I won’t have to as long as you are ready to confess to the police,” Natasha said.
The man exchanged glances with the second man who was still gagged. But it’s better for them to go to jail than to die so the man agreed.
Natasha invited the police over and the two men were taken away.
Natasha had received a report from Gen regarding Pavel and Mr. Jucef. They were still alive and running Crying Sun City. Natasha had decided to secretly go to Crying Sun today and give Pavel a taste of his medicine.
She already had everything in plan. While she was preparing, a knock landed on her door.
She walked towards the door and checked through the small hole, she was stunned at whom she saw. She quickly opened the door and stood stiff.
The little boy that had unexpectedly appeared before her suddenly hugged her. He wrapped his arms around her passionately, touching her boy again after so many years made her feel alive.
But why is he here? Did he know she’s his mother already?
“Do you want to come in?” Natasha asked.
The little boy shook his head, “I need you to see something.”
Natasha’s face fell, “where?” Hope Rose is safe and fine, she thought to herself.
“I’ll lead you,” says Marcus.
Soon, Marcus and Natasha were inside the car. As Natasha drives, she keeps glancing at her son. She had so many mixed emotions at that moment, her happiness reached the sky but so was her sadness. Marcus continued to direct her and after fifteen minutes, they arrived at a rocky area.
The boy was the first to swiftly step down after which Natasha did the same. She wanted to know what the boy was up to before she started questioning him. She also didn’t want the boy to feel uncomfortable around him, which was why she had remained quiet so the boy would not feel pressured.
The boy suddenly halted before what looked like a hut. Although the structure looked like a hut, it was built with blocks and had a very strong security door.
“What are we doing here?” Natasha asked Marcus calmly.
“I tracked my mom to this place. She used to come here every Wednesday and Sunday.” Marcus said.
“To do what, dear?” Natasha gently asked.
“We must find a way to open this door and save who is inside. From what I understand, the person in there had been there for a long time. She seemed to be locked up and every time she’s being tortured, she screams your name.”
Natasha’s heart began to beat heavily, who in the world could that be! She quickly rushed to try to open the door but it was heavily secured. Looking around, she noticed there was no house nearby and the place was so silent that if one were to shout, it would echo.
“Who is inside?” Natasha shouted so whoever was inside could hear but there was no response.
“Who is in?” Natasha shouted again but got no response. She glanced at Marcus as if doubting him then she suddenly heard sounds of footsteps approaching the door.
“Can I know your name?” Natasha shouted again.
“Natasha, is that you?” Came the weak voice.
Natasha’s head rang as if something hard had hit it. Is that not… “Naomi?”
“Natasha, it’s truly you,” Naomi cried.
Natasha’s heart fell into the abyss. She felt the entire sky falling. This is not happening! Why was Naomi locked up? Who did this? Ruby? What did Naomi do to Ruby?
Natasha felt bad for not looking out for Naomi earlier.
“Hold on, I’ll open this door.” Natasha said and began to look around for what she can use to break open the door.
Marcus helped her in searching for what can be used but the place was filled with just sand and stones. After searching tirelessly, Natasha knew it would be impossible to find what can be used in opening the door.
Then the sound of cars approaching was suddenly heard, Natasha held Marcus’s hand and swiftly, they hid behind one of the rocks and peeped from there.
As they observed the car, Natasha asked, “how did you know my house, dear?”
“I’m good at hacking and tracking. Don’t underestimate me,” Marcus replied like an adult.
Natasha smiled but she was impressed. Because Naomi had always been calling the name, ‘Natasha’ when tortured, Marcus had looked into it and then found her.
“Won’t your dad start looking for you already?”
“I told my sister to cover up for me,” Marcus replied. “But I know it won’t hold for long, you have to drop me soon.”
“I will, sweetheart,” Natasha said.
Marcus looked at her, “you have a resemblance with my sister, are you related to us somehow?”
Natasha’s heart bled on hearing that, “I…” she stuttered but suddenly covered her mouth to stop herself from screaming as she saw Pavel step out of the car. He was dressed in a deep black suit and there were about four men with him. The four men had followed him with the second car.
Pavel looked around to be sure no third party was present after which he proceeded inside. Few seconds after he entered the house, Natasha and Marcus began to hear screams of agony and pain coming from Naomi. It’s either she’s being tortured or she’s being raped.
Natasha couldn’t help the tears that spilled off her face. A thick sadness imprisoned her heart, she lowered her head as the screams rang from ear to ear.
“What should we do?” Marcus looked at her and asked.
“We have to wait until they leave,” Natasha said.
“We have to do something now that the door is open. I can distract the men and you can find your way in and save the woman inside,” Marcus said.
“That’s too risky. Those men are vipers, they won’t hesitate to hurt a child.” Just as Natadha finished speaking, Marcus jumped out from hiding and whistled.
