Natasha went to the Pushkin’s main Villa, for the Pushkin’s family had lots of mansion but this particular one was at the city central. Natasha had been invited by Titiana.
Once Natasha stepped inside the living room, she saw radiant Titiana, dressed glamorously walking towards her, “hey Natasha.” Titiana went ahead and welcomed her then led her to the dining table.
“Is Dmitry around?” Natasha finds herself asking.
“No, he’s not. Don’t bother about him,” Titiana smiled.
“I’m just glad you have recovered. You look new to me,” Natasha said with a smile. There were already all sorts of beautiful delicacies served before them.
Titiana’s cheek turned red, she thanked her and persuaded her to start eating. The two adults began to chat lightly in the process. Once they were done, Natasha smiled, “whoever cooked this deserves an award.” For she truly enjoyed the food.
Titiana smiled, “I won’t take the credit alone since the cooks in the house helped me, but the food is my recipe.”
“Oh… Wow, I’m impressed,” Natasha said cheerfully.
Titiana’s phone rang and upon seeing the caller ID, she stood, “I’ll be right back Natasha.” Titiana said.
Natasha nodded, believing that she didn’t want to receive the call in her presence. Perhaps, a private call. While she was waiting, she saw someone walk in. Her eyes fluttered on seeing Dmitry.
Dmitry was dressed in a deep black suit, as he walked in, he was seen loosening his tie. He looked like one that had been stressed. He didn’t even seem to notice Natasha was at the dinner. He passed the dinning and went up the stairs to his room.
Natasha exhaled. Glad that he didn’t see her. She needed to leave soon. Checking her wrist watch, she realized that it’s been four minutes since Titiana had left. So she stood and placed a call across to her but it was said to be busy, implying that she was still on a call.
She still needs to visit Mr. Peller. She can’t just sit here doing nothing particularly when her father is on the sick bed.
She realized that Titiana had walked towards a particular hallway so she trailed after that route. She just didn’t want to leave without informing Titiana. She soon finds herself inside an averagely long hallway. When she was out, she appeared at an enclosed swimming pool.
Isn’t this the hallway that Titiana had passed? Why can’t she see her around here? While looking around, she sighted a door. Perhaps, Titiana had passed that door to somewhere else. She walked towards the door, the door gave way and her heart skipped on seeing Dmitry.
Dmitry wasn’t dressed in a suit this time, he was dressed in a swimming trunk, his six packs were revealing and his sexy abs were so seductive. One could tell that he works out regularly for he looked for and had muscles in the right place.
Natasha had never expected in her wildest mind that she’ll ever see Dmitry clothless. “Hi.” She swallowed hard.
Dmitry, with an expressionless face asked, “what are you doing here?”
“She’s here to swim too, you people should swim together, it’s no big deal,” Titiana appeared, she still had her phone in her ear, in a jiffy, she was out of sight again.
Before Natasha could even call out to Titiana, she already walked out through the door. Natasha suddenly felt like she was on a hot seat. She could hear the palpitation of her own heart.
“Can you swim?” Dmitry asked.
Natasha is actually aquaphobia, there was a traumatic experience in her childhood days that made her fear rivers, pools, up until this day. Before she could respond, she watched as Dmitry dived into the pool. With the way he dived, one could tell that he was very good.
Natasha watched as he dived and soon, he couldn’t find him anymore. He had gone deep inside the pool. After many seconds, there was a ruffle of the sea and then his head popped off. Natasha felt her vagina clenched when she saw how his now wet wavy hair settled across his face. He looked even more handsome than a Greek god.
How can a man be this hot, Natasha thought. Already having the wildest imaginations. Although she was standing there and watching him with an innocent look, what was going on in her heart was quite the opposite of ‘innocence.’
Dmitry set his face on her and asked, “why don’t you have a boyfriend?”
Natasha swallowed the huge lump in her throat and managed to speak, “I once was engaged but I divorced. I’m not ready to experience another heartbreak from another man.”
Dmitry swam forward then backward, soon, he was resting his back on the wall of the pool, his two hands resting on the floor of the edge of the pool, only his head and slim neck were showing, other parts of his body had been covered with the pool.
“Do you wish to marry me?” Dmitry asked.
Marry? Didn’t he hate women? Why would he think of her marrying him?
“Everyone knows how much women disgust you” Natasha spoke carefully. Her eyes bored into his cute emerald eyes.
He hummed and then tucked his hair to the back of his ear, making him look even hotter than he already looked, “You don’t disgust me, surprisingly.”
Natasha arched her eyebrows, “really? Am I different from other women?”
“All women are the same!” His voice suddenly turned harsh. Staring at her with a now cold look.
Natasha dared not say any more words.
He let the pool swallow his entire body for a few seconds then after his head surfaced again, he looked at her with a now calm face, “My grandfather wants me to get married to you. Titiana also wants me to get married to you. These are the two people I value the most in my family.”
Natasha sighed, not knowing what to say.
Dmitry turned away from her slowly and after a few seconds, he set his gaze on her, “you are indeed beautiful.”
Natasha almost blushed to death at his words. A thousand men can tell her she’s beautiful and she won’t even care but hearing such compliments from a man that mysteriously has issues with every woman made her feel butterflies in her stomach. If she were alone, she would be screaming joyfully but since she was before Dmitry, she remained rooted to the spot, like a statue. Staring at his almond shaped cute eyes.
“But marriage is unnecessarily over hyped. Why should anyone get married?” He asked rhetorically. “To bear kids? Well, I’m not particularly interested in kids.” He answered himself.
“For companionship?” He continued, “I don’t need a companion. That’s disgusting.”
He added, now looking at her, “I can’t seem to understand why anyone will get married? I don’t want families.”
This was the first time Natasha will hear him pour out his heart. “But you seem to like Naomi’s twin.” Says Natasha. She was carefully choosing her words cause the last thing she wants is to make him angry.
“That… Is also unexplainable.” He said and looked away from her. “Those twins resonate with me in a way I can’t fathom.”
Natasha wondered how he would feel if he found out the kids were his. Natasha was about to open her mouth to utter another word when he spoke again, “I’ll ask you for the last time and you better tell the truth. You were pregnant for me then, did you abort it?”
“For you? You didn’t even believe the pregnancy was for you then. You rejected me and the baby inside of me,” Natasha said.
“I do not know you. Should I start accepting with open arms every woman who claims to be pregnant for me after every one night stand?” Dmitry asked. “I asked for a slut to be arranged for me and you were sent. Did you not read the terms of the agreement before you came to me?”
Natasha’s mind then flashed back to that day. That night, her heart was so broken that she lost most of her abilities to think well. She had gone to sit before Dmitry and he had asked if she was the lady he was expecting to which she answered yes, when in fact, she wasn’t even the lady.
“I was never a slut. I wasn’t the person you were expecting that day. I only came to the seat before you because it was empty and when you asked if I was the lady you were expecting, I purposely and foolishly answered yes.” Natasha explained.
“Did you deliver those babies or do you abort them?” Dmitry asked.
Natasha began to weigh her options, the consequences of telling him the truth. For someone who doesn’t want a family. Should he lie to him and he eventually finds out the truth himself, then he will not trust her again.
Then again, did she actually wish to marry him? That’s a question she can not necessarily answer herself. The man is a misogynist and a strong one at that.
“I aborted the kids,” Natasha lied, after hesitating for a while.
The fact that she took time before responding planted an even greater doubt in Dmitry’s mind. His men are already investigating. He believes he’ll find out the truth in no time.
Dmitry stepped out of the pool, drenched in water and then began to walk towards the exit door, “inform Naomi that I want her to come here with her twin tomorrow evening but with the father of the babies.”
Natasha furrowed her brow on hearing that. Her heart raced. Where will they find the father of the twin when in fact, the father is the one asking.
