Book:Miracle Doctor And Her Hot CEO Published:2024-6-4

Dmitry, standing at the top balcony of the Pushkin’s mansion, watched as the ambulance quickly took his grandfather away from the compound of the villa. “I thought that miracle doctor had permanently cured him of his illness?”
Yuri, who was standing beside him answered, “perhaps, the healing isn’t fully done. Shall I immediately send for the miracle doctor and order her to go to the hospital to treat Mr. Pushkin?”
“Do that,” Dmitry said with an aching heart. “This miracle doctor better find a solution to grandfather’s sickness.”
Yuri at that moment had already placed a call across to Ruby and it had been answered. “Please go immediately to Virgio hospital, Mr. Pushkin is seriously sick and needs your attention.”
Ruby on the other end shivered in fear, for she had no knowledge of medicine. How would she treat Mr. Pushkin? Before she could even utter a word, Yuri already hung the call up.
Ruby quickly went to meet Zara, her mother who was at that moment in the living room of the Ivan’s mansion. “Mom, there’s a problem.”
Zara turned her attention to her at once and asked, “what’s the matter?” While gesturing for her to sit right beside her.
“I have just been asked to go to Virgio’s hospital to treat Mr. Pushkin. These people have no idea I’m not the miracle Doctor. What do I do mom?” She asked nervously. Fear lingering on her face. She had already explained to Zara how she had luckily got married to the most powerful man in the city. Directly taking the place of Natasha.
“The Pushkin’s family must not be offended.” Zara said, while storming her brain hard for ideas, “how about you take Natasha along with you. When anyone ask about her, just tell them she’s your assistant. And then she can do her thing while you supervise.”
“Natasha would never agree to come with me.”
“Not when her mother’s properties are with us. Plus we know where she lives with her children, we can threaten her with her children.” Zara said.
“Those kids are too small. They are barely two months old.” Ruby said, while thinking of other possible options to get out of this dilemma. Dmitry must never know she’s not the real miracle doctor.
After two minutes had passed, Zara spoke, “you couldn’t come up with a better idea, right? Would you rather risk Dmitry finding out? Put a call across to Natasha immediately while I send my thugs over to kidnap her kids in case she refused.”
Ruby nodded. “I guess I have no choice. We will work with your idea, mother.” She immediately placed a call across to Natasha.
Took a while before Natasha answered, “may I know whom this is?”
“Your sister, Ruby.” She answered. “I need you to come and meet me right now at father’s house, we need to go somewhere together.”
“Do I look like your maid or something? To think you can just order me around?” Natasha sounded very displeased on the phone.
“You stand to get all of your mother’s inheritance as well as father not ever finding out about your return back to leaf city.” Ruby subtly threatened.
“If I didn’t honour the invite to your dinner, what makes you think I’ll honour this?” Natasha asked.
“Natasha, I’ll call Father right away if you refuse to come right now,” Ruby said with a rather loud voice.
“Go on.” Natasha said. “tell him.” Then she hung the call up.
Ruby looked at her mother with depressed face, her mother understood the outcome of her call and immediately excused herself.
She came back three minutes later. “We can’t tell Lewis about Natasha’s return now. That will be our last card. Just go to the hospital, she will come to meet you.”
“Are you sure, mom?” Ruby asked.
“Have I ever dissapointed you?” Zara walked up to her and held her two hands. “You are now married to the most powerful man in the city. I’ll do everything in my power to ensure you retain your position as Mrs. Pushkin.”
“By the time she found out her kids had been taken away, I will reach out to her and let her know I’m behind it then order her to do what we wanted. She’ll definitely come. A mother will do anything for her child.” Zara further added.
Ruby nodded. This time, her phone began to ring. Seeing that it was from Yuri, she said to her mom, “I guess they are calling, I must be running late. I’ll leave now.” She hugged her mom and left anxiously.
In ten minutes, Ruby was already walking towards the emergency VIP ward that Mr. Pushkin was. The head of Mr. Pushkin’s security stopped her, “who are you?” His harsh and stern voice came through.
“I’m the Miracle doctor.” Ruby answered nervously. She had to hid her two hands under her blowse for the hands were shaking on their own. Her heart was pounding so hard that she almost stopped breathing.
She lacked both confidence and composure. “I know the miracle Doctor, I do not know you.” Says Kenji, head of Mr. Pushkin’s security gaurds. He was a retired soldier, he’s now a plumpy man with an height above 7 fit. He had a very scary scar on his forehead that makes people fear him at glance.
Ruby at this moment was almost pooing in her pant. If this man punch her once, she will be dead in an instant. “That woman you know is my personal assistant. I’m the actual miracle doctor. Kindly let me in so I can begin the treatment as soon as possible.”
Although Kenji did not totally believe her, he still let her in. Ruby looked at Mr. Pushkin who laid on the bed, grunting slightly in pain. He now had tubes and wires connected to his body. Ruby just stared at him, not knowing what to do, she was only hoping for Natasha to come quick and save her from this dilemma.
“Will you do something, woman? It’s already more than three minutes that you have been staring. His breath is getting slower and shallower.” Kenji shouted. His thick and hard voice made the room vibrate, but it made a drop of urine drop reflexively to Ruby’s pant.
“Please hold on. I must take my time to diagnose what is wrong with him and the best treatment.” Says Ruby. Ruby then touched the man’s hand and lifted it. Then placed her hand on the man’s forehead as if examining his temperature.
What Kenji said is true, she can’t keep staring at the man, she needs to keep doing something that will make it look like she’s doing something while hoping for Natasha to come.
The door suddenly opened and she swiftly turned to the door, hoping earnestly that whoever had stepped in will be Natasha. Luckily for her, it was Natasha. Natasha looked messy. She looked distressed and had sweats all over her forehead.
She looked angry too. She almost let out her anger right there. How could Ruby and Zara kidnap babies that are less than two months old? Do they not have a heart? Natasha had thought about this severally as she choicelessly came to meet. Mr. Pushkin
“Natasha, you are here. Come quickly and help me,” Ruby said swiftly.
Natasha obediently went to Mr. Pushkin’s side, seeing how pale Mr. Pushkin’s skin is, she immediately touched his left arm, his skin felt dry and flaky. She knew at once that Mr. Pushkin’s sickness wasn’t only natural, it seems someone on the inside may be responsible for his deteriorating health.
“Please excuse me.” Natasha said to Ruby for she felt suffocated with her presence. For Ruby was standing very close to her.
“Sure.” Ruby took steps back and added, “use the method I taught you ten days ago.”
Natasha looked at Ruby with rage, what method did this nuisance teach her? Yet Natasha couldn’t say a word.
She set her gaze back on Mr. Pushkin. She brought out a pill from her bag and made the man swallow it. Three seconds later, the man’s eyes opened.
“Oh my! It’s you again. You save me one more time,” Mr. Pushkin almost cried. “thank you.” He said weakly.
“You are welcome, sir.” Natasha said.
“I actually told my son to bring you in for dinner but he’s being obstinate. I’ll like to invite you personally, please don’t say no.” The old man said.
Ruby immediately stepped forward, “Mr. Pushkin, Natasha is my personal assistant, she serves under me. I taught her everything she knows about medicine. I’m the Miracle doctor, sir so if you will be inviting anyone, it should be me.”
Mr. Pushkin becane a little confused. Staring at Ruby, she said, “I haven’t seen you before.”
“That’s right, sir. Because of my outstanding medical skills, I have so many patients calling on to me. Most times, I have to send some of my staff over. Although I must say that Natasha is one of my best staff.” Ruby said.
Mr. Pushkin took time to process the twist of events happening before him. Natasha however remain calm and silent. “This woman here saved me, not you. I’ll be inviting her to dinner and not you. You should step back.” The man said to Ruby. He may be old but he’s firm.
While Ruby was hesitating to take a step back, Kenji approached where she stood and lifted her with one arm, then carried her as if he was carrying a leaf. He opened the door and threw her out. No one remains even a second before Mr. Pushkin after being dismissed.
“So my daughter, will you come?”
“Yes, I will.” Natasha needed Mr. Pushkin’s protection anyways so it’s only right she allowed their relationship to grow. “And about your health, there are stuffs I’ll nedd to talk to you about. But that will be private.”
“Is it urgent?”
“Not at all. We can talk about it at dinner.” Natasha believed the dinner is only happening between her and the man.
“Okay, please tell Kenji your location, he will come and pick you up tomorrow by 9PM. Then we can have our dinner.” Mr. Pushkin gestured to the giant looking man that had just thrown Ruby out.
Natasha was actually satisfied that Ruby was thrown out. She believed it’s one of the greatest humiliation she’ll ever face.
“Alright, sir. I should leave now, I do have some urgent stuffs to attend to.” Natasha said. By urgent stuff, she meant her kids.
“Okay.” Mr. Pushkin made a gesture, permitting her to leave.
