While Natasha was waiting at the receptionist, she called the nanny overseeing her kids in order to ask about her kids, “hello, how are my kids doing?”
“They are sleeping at the moment, ma. Although someone is currently knocking, I’m going to see who it is.”
“Don’t. Don’t even dare. Just pretend you aren’t home, okay?” Natasha asked.
“Is there a problem, ma?”
“Not at all. Just do as I’ve said.” Natasha then ended the call. She didn’t care who the person knocking at the door of her house is. For all she cares, that person or persons could be from her father.
Pavel had told her to wait for ten minutes, eight minutes had now passed.
Precisely two minutes later, the receptionist who had just finished receiving a call said to Natasha, “Mr. Pavel said you may come upstairs.”
Natasha nodded and stood. Soon, she entered the elevator, she was about to press the close button when she saw two men walking directly towards the elevator that she was. One was about 6. 5 ft tall, he was slim and super handsome. He looked like a Greek god. He was particularly more confident than the other. The other one looked tall too but not as tall as this hot handsome man.
Soon, these two men were inside the elevator with her. She didn’t know why her legs were shivering, was it because she suddenly became nervous of their presence or was it something about this men.
The taller man was the one standing beside her. His scent was like a freshly laundered linen and sandalwood. It was so soothing and exhilarating. Natasha wanted to breath it in again and again. She had never seen a man as perfect as this. He looked so hot that she couldn’t help the wild imaginations that crushed through her mind.
She could not help but glimpse at his gorgeous side profile while hoping he doesn’t catch her peeking at him. It just that she couldn’t have enough of this man.
“The most handsome men in the world obviously works here at Woza group,” Natasha thought to herself.
The elevator then stopped at a floor, this was where Natasha was to step out. As she was about to take the first step out, a voice halted her, “was the pregnancy aborted?”
Natasha turned swiftly and her mind immediately picked. What! This was that man she had a one night stand with one year ago. He was the same man who rejected her pregnancy, thinking he could get rid of her with money. She didn’t recognize him at first glance cause he had a little adjustment in his eyes and nose. He was hot and handsome then, yes but now? His handsomeness is out of the world.
Thousands of women will que to have a taste of him.
Took a while before Natasha recovered from her shock. She swallowed hard and answered, “do you care?”
“If you eventually had the babies, it’s only right I know. I wouldn’t want my offspring to suffer.”
Natasha smirked, “you have no offspring. Excuse me.” Then she walked away from him with a sore heart.
“Shall I investigate on whether she had the babies or not?” Yuri asked after Natasha faded out of their sight.
“She may not be pregnant for me in the first place. You of all people know how many women had tried to label me with all sort of scandals.”
“That’s right,” Yuri spoke and focused on the task at hand.
Meanwhile, Natasha was now in the laboratory, making wonders out of the herbs Pavel provided. She had asked to be taken to the laboratory as soon as she appeared in Pavel’s office and Pavel had allowed her.
About forty minutes later, Natasha returned to Pavel’s office with the mixed herbs but couldn’t get in. It was said that he had a visitor. Natasha had to wait outside for another one hour.
Once the visitor walked out, Natasha stepped in.
“Hey Natasha, sorry you had to wait,” Pavel said politely while glancing at the translucent bottle she was holding.
“It’s okay.”
“Do I have to take that thing!” Pavel asked as he gestured for her to sit. Before Natasha could respond, he suddenly began to cough, blood rushing out of his nose. He was holding his chest as he coughs as he was feeling an excruciating pain therein.
Natasha felt pitiful for him and wondered how many years he had been suffering this terrible fate, “you have to.”
Pavel, under such a dire circumstance didn’t have time to think through the possibile consequences of taking a drug that wasn’t approved by the FDA. He could only hope this particular traditional medicine would save him from his misery.
Natasha handed the bottle to him and he in turn swiftly gulped in the entire content. The first thing he noticed was that the excruciating pain in his heart subsides eventhough he was still coughing. Then he suddenly felt like retching.
Pavel stood at once and ran to the toilet. He came back a couple of minutes later looking relaxed and composed. “It’s been a long time I felt this better .”
“I told you you’ll be fine.” Natasha smiled briefly. Happy that her method worked.
Pavel, a board certified doctor almost forgot he was a doctor as he asked, “am I healed permanently now?”
“Not fully. Just like science, healing doesn’t work like magic. You need to continue taking the herbs once every day for another six days and then you’ll be permanently healed.” Natasha said.
Pavel went to sit and said to her, “I’m really impressed, Natasha. Why don’t you consider going to a medical school, it’s not too late? I can sponsor you.”
“I have babies I’m taking care of. It may not be too convenient for me to start Schooling again.” Natasha answered. “Will you help me secure a job at the Legal department?”
“Actually, I do have a better offer. Why don’t you work here in the medical department. I’ll cover for you. I’m the overall boss here and no one will know you don’t have a certificate unless of course you spill it out yourself.” Pavel proposed.
Natasha was taken aback by the proposal. To be frank, she loves helping sick people get better. It seems that she had been gifted this skill to help many heal from diseases that has no cure according to science. “I can’t be so silly to tell anyone I do not have a certificate. I’ll accept the offer.”
The truth was, beyound providing her a job in the medical department, Pavel wants her around, at least, until he had confirmed he is fully healed. “Good. I’ll have to get your details. Your salary will be in the same range as resident physicians. I believe that’s okay?” He was now passing a document to her that contained ranks of medical officers and the amount they received as salary.
Seeing the many zeros, she nodded and answered, “I accept this deal.” Then she began to fill out her details in a document that Pavel had provided.
Finally, she got a job. Though it was the most unexpected job but it’s worth it. She can only hope no one finds out she doesn’t have the legal right to work in the medical department.
