Just as Damian’s hand was about to touch Flynn’s face, Flynn suddenly grabbed his hand and pulled it back with force.
Smack!
A loud sound echoed through the air as Damian’s face contorted in pain. His body flew sideways, tracing a three-meter arc in the air before crashing heavily onto the ground and tumbling six times before coming to a stop.
The scene fell silent except for Damian’s agonized screams. Everyone stared at what had just happened, their mouths agape in shock.
“You crazy bastard! How dare you hit our manager? You’re asking for death!” one of Damian’s subordinates shouted angrily.
“If you know what’s good for you, cut off your own hand now or we’ll do it for you!” another chimed in.
“Do you even know who owns Staraid Hotel? The Fletcher family! They’re more powerful than ten Myriad Dragon Merchant Guilds combined!”
Damian’s henchmen all roared furiously like thunderbolts.
Odin widened his eyes in disbelief. He thought Flynn would at most block that slap but never expected him to strike back so fiercely. Harriet also grew fearful. While Flynn had Rose to help her deal with Kamari, there was no way Orion could intervene if he caused trouble at Staraid Hotel.
The Kaur family members were also shaken by this turn of events. What if this guy ended up implicating them somehow?
“The Fletcher family? So what?” Flynn sneered coldly and indifferently said, “Let their patriarch come here and ask him if he dares talk to me like that.”
Braiden couldn’t help but chuckle at how skilled Flynn was with his words – even joking about the mighty Fletcher family just to show off!
Even Braiden himself – a legitimate heir of an enormous billion-dollar empire – wouldn’t dare mention anything related to them! If Nathan heard about this while he was still around Niarak … well… let’s say things wouldn’t end well for Flynn!
“Flynn! You are nothing but a troublemaker! Apologize now and kneel down before the manager!” Frank yelled furiously as he limped over on his cane towards where they stood arguing heatedly.
The cane slammed against the ground, making a loud thudding sound.
He had been observing coldly from the resting area.
Expelling Flynn was a matter to be handled by the younger generation.
There was no need for him to get involved; out of sight, out of mind.
Unexpectedly, Flynn went ahead and hit the manager!
What if the manager got angry and the Kaur family couldn’t dine here anymore?
“Old man, just shut up!”
Flynn gave him a cold glance and said indifferently, “There’s nothing to do with the Kaur family today, but you all are screaming like lunatics. Have you taken some kind of stimulant? Can’t you just lie down and wait for your meal? Do you have to come up and curse to feel comfortable?”
“If it weren’t for Matteo, you bunch of parasites would be begging for food by now, still have the energy to scream here?”
Boom!
It was a mess!
This waste was in trouble!
The Kaur family was furious, their eyes bulging.
How dared this son-in-law talk to Frank like that?
Unacceptable!
Unforgivable!
Charlotte spoke frankly, “Mr. Roy, as you can see, Flynn is a scoundrel who dares to insult even our grandfather.”
“We don’t have the ability to control him. His life and death are up to you.”
“If you could beat him to death, the Kaur family would thank you forever!”
Charlotte hated Flynn the most and naturally hoped he would receive severe punishment or even die on the spot.
“Mr. Clark really goes crazy when he gets tough. But this is just his last madness,” Braiden said with a smirk.
“The Staraid Hotel belongs to the Fletcher family. Even I wouldn’t dare cause trouble here, let alone someone like you,” he added.
“You probably won’t be able to leave alive today.”
Flynn sneered and said lightly, “You’re just trash who can’t afford three meals in your lifetime; of course, you don’t have what it takes to make trouble here.”
“But I will not only leave alive but also finish my meal at Castle in Sky before leaving under all hotel staff’s farewell!”
“Farewell?” Damian finally woke up from that slap and looked at Flynn with hatred, “I’ll give your mother farewell!”
“I’ll treat you like my boss if I don’t let you crawl out of here today!”
Flynn smiled and turned his head towards Charlotte, “Congratulations on becoming a mother at such a young age; your son is older than yourself!”
This bet with Flynn was Charlotte’s lifelong pain and shame which made her burn with anger every time she heard about it.
“Damn it! You must remember how it felt when we beat each other during school days today!” Damian roared angrily as he rushed over directly.
He couldn’t bear seeing Flynn being arrogant in front of him after bullying him so much during their school days when Damian used to be superior over him.
However,
“Smack!”
Flynn slapped Damian hard across his face.
Damian flew out like a stone bullet hitting heavily on the sofa before bouncing onto the ground.
“A mad dog doesn’t know how painful one slap can be,” said Flynn shaking his head slowly as he walked towards Damian then turned towards Braiden saying, “This dog supports only you; now that I’ve beaten him into this state, aren’t you going help your loyal follower?”
“If you don’t mind, then I won’t hold back!” Flynn said, and slapped Damian across the face.
“Smack!”
“Smack!”
“Smack!”
…
Flynn’s big hand landed on Damian’s face.
He slapped Damian and looked at Braiden until his face was covered in blood and his teeth were flying everywhere. He still didn’t stop.
“Flynn, let it go. He could get hurt,” Odin went up to him and pulled on his arm while trying to persuade him loudly.
“He could get hurt?” Flynn frowned and tilted his head towards Odin, “In sophomore year, he dunked your head in the sink almost drowning you. Did he think about hurting you then?”
“In senior year, he demanded protection money from us that we couldn’t afford. He called a bunch of thugs who beat us up with steel pipes. Did he think about hurting us then?”
“On graduation day, when you just glanced at his girlfriend, did he try to throw you off the third floor? And what did he do next?”
“He peed on your head!”
“I’m asking you now if we should still plead for mercy for him?” Flynn fired off a series of questions that left Odin speechless.
“He deserves to die but are you really going to kill him?” Harriet knelt in front of Flynn crying out, “Flynn, please stop this! Please stop it!” She looked at Damian’s swollen disfigured face feeling her scalp tingle as she grew cold all over her body.
The Staraid Hotel was owned by the Fletcher family with strong connections behind them; what would happen now that Flynn had beaten up their manager?
“Flynn! Do you want to destroy the Kaur family?!” Paulina was so scared she couldn’t stand straight anymore; her eyes rolled back as her blood pressure skyrocketed.
“When will this end?! Stop it! Stop it!” Madeline stomped her feet shouting loudly.
“All right,” Flynn thought for a moment before stopping himself.
“Haha why aren’t you continuing? Are You afraid now?” Damian’s mouth overflowed with blood as he grinned ferociously suddenly shouting, “Don’t they say only madmen are fearless? Why can’t even killing scare me?”
“If you have balls then kill me already! Come on!”
Flynn shook his head indifferently, “You’re wrong. I won’t kill you because there is one kind of pain worse than death.”
After speaking these words, he turned around towards Braiden, “Aren’t you pretty tough too?”
“Well today you’ll be standing outside Castle In Sky watching me eat inside.”
Braiden paused before bursting into laughter saying, “All right all right all right! I want to see how you’re going to make it inside Castle In Sky.”
“Don’t tell me you’re going to knock out the bodyguards and force your way in!”
Damian sneered. “Mr. Swanson, rest assured, those two bodyguards not only have high martial arts skills but also guns in their hands. They could take his life in minutes!”
To enhance its prestige and provide unparalleled service to Staraid VIP Card users, the Staraid Hotel hired two martial arts experts and equipped them with guns so that no one could enter or leave at will.
“Let’s go up and eat!” Flynn was too lazy to continue talking and walked straight towards the elevator leading to Castle in Sky after speaking to Odin and Harriet.
“What should we do, Odin?” Harriet was so anxious that she almost cried because she had no idea what Flynn wanted to do.
“What else can we do?” Odin sighed. “I can’t just watch my friend die! Let’s go up and see what’s going on.”
“You’re crazy! Flynn, you’re a madman!” Madeline stomped her foot fiercely, gritted her teeth, and followed him inside.
Now they could only go up there to check the situation. If Flynn caused trouble upstairs, they would have no choice but kneel down begging for mercy from those who held guns.
The Kaur family was also afraid of death. They didn’t care about whether Flynn lived or died; they were afraid of being implicated! The only thing they could do now was go upstairs in front of the bodyguards’ faces and distance themselves from Flynn.
