Two elevators were ascending to the rooftop, with Flynn, Odin and Harriet in one and Braiden and others in the other.
“Flynn, can we just take a quick look at the door before leaving? Don’t cause any trouble,” Odin said worriedly.
Harriet added, “Flynn, there are armed guards up there. Please don’t do anything reckless.”
Flynn didn’t say anything but had an extremely gloomy expression on his face. He was not in a good mood after encountering such disgusting things while having dinner.
In the other elevator:
“Is this guy not normal? He’s willing to risk his life just for an argument?”
“He thinks he’s skilled enough to break into Castle in Sky. Does he really think he’s that badass? The guards up there aren’t pushovers!”
“I wish someone would kill that bastard so we wouldn’t have to deal with him anymore!”
As they slowly ascended, everyone discussed Flynn.
Charlotte sneered, “He dared to buy Ponocord Bay for 200 million dollars; what else wouldn’t he dare do?”
“He’s just a self-righteous piece of trash!” The Kaur family members mocked him as they chattered away.
“It’s true though; no one wants that land where people are buried. Only an idiot would say it’ll appreciate in value,” one said sarcastically.
“But speaking of which, we have to thank Matteo for bringing us such a great son-in-law! He bought our contract at full price like an idiot! Haha…” another laughed as they praised Paulina for finding such a good husband.
Braiden almost burst out laughing when he heard this. Flynn had spent 200 million dollars buying Ponocord Bay – his thought process was definitely unique!
To put it nicely: unconventional.
To put it bluntly: stupid – pure stupidity!
Madeline turned pale and bit her lip hard. Although she hated how foolish Flynn was acting right now, she couldn’t deny that he helped her family out of trouble before – she had nothing more to say about it.
“That bastard came here looking for death; he won’t be happy until he drives me crazy!” Paulina fumed angrily.
Frank’s expression became even more sullen as he coldly stated, “That useless piece of crap has no manners or sense when doing things like some kind of madman… With this kind of scourge within the family forever preventing us from becoming high society elites!”
“After returning home today,” Frank continued icily “I will enforce our family rules by expelling him from the family! If Matteo doesn’t want him either, then let’s see where else can accommodate his idiocy.”
The Kaur family nodded in agreement. With Flynn around, they were bound to be implicated sooner or later. It was time to kick him out of the Kaur family!
Madeline’s mind raced as she heard her grandfather’s words. She had given Flynn countless chances, but he continued to do as he pleased and even became more outrageous with each passing day. He was a lost cause.
It was time to end it.
As two elevators arrived at the top floor simultaneously, everyone was stunned by what they saw.
The Castle in Sky was made entirely of glass and had a small garden inside with a stream, bridges, over 100 rare flowers and plants, and even an artificial mountain.
The white marble floors were spotless; the environment luxurious with expensive chandeliers hanging overhead; top-of-the-line kitchen appliances; brand-name sofas; and countless bottles of premium liquor on the ten-meter-long wine cabinet.
Standing inside were over a dozen beautiful waitresses who were all taller than 1. 7 meters with figures that could rival those of supermodels – not one flaw could be found on their faces from afar – it looked like there were endless long legs surrounded by white petals everywhere people looked.
Walking down a corridor, they arrived at the entrance of Castle in Sky.
Two old men stood at the entrance.
Wearing coarse long robes, stepping in thousand-layered cloth shoes, and each carrying a pistol at their waists.
Lean figures, beards down to their chests, and sharp eyes like eagles.
They each held a radio in their hands, leisurely listening to the news because few visitors came to the top floor.
“Flynn, we’re here. Please start your performance!” Braiden said with a smirk.
Damian also sneered, “Come on, let me see how this Staraid VIP Card user plans to get in?”
“Let me make this clear,” Flynn retorted bluntly: “If you can’t get in then I’ll have you crawl out from this hotel!”
Flynn went straight for the door but both old men stopped him cold, “Only Staraid VIP Card users are allowed entry.” Their icy gazes bore into him.
Damian chuckled dryly, “Even I don’t have permission as manager so don’t think your bravado will scare us off.”
Braiden also sneered.
To dine here, one must be a Staraid VIP Card user or have permission from the Fletcher family; otherwise, there was no chance of entry.
If one attempted to force their way in, the two formidable individuals at the entrance would handle them thoroughly, perhaps even leaving their head in a mess.
“Enough, we’ve seen Castle in Sky. Let’s go!” Odin gently pulled Flynn.
Harriet’s palms were sweaty with nerves, and she whispered, “Flynn, please don’t start a fight here.”
Madeline said coldly, “Flynn, sometimes life is more important than pride. Think carefully about the consequences of forcing your way in!”
The others stood with their arms crossed, waiting for Flynn to embarrass himself.
“Is this it?” Flynn ignored them and pulled out a card from his pocket, handing it to an elderly man.
The two bodyguards took the card and their faces instantly changed.
Everyone was stunned. Did this guy really have a card?
Damian’s eyes flashed with shock before he burst into laughter. “He dares to use a fake Staraid VIP Card? He’s asking for death!”
“Right! There’s no way he has a real one! Do you see who holds those cards? Only top-notch people have them – not even Orion qualifies!”
“A piece of trash who just got out of prison. If he can get into Castle in Sky, then I can stay at the White House for a week!”
Everyone sneered and mocked him.
“Oh my god! This bastard actually managed to scam his way into Staraid Hotel!” Paulina turned pale with fear as her heart raced uncontrollably.
Madeline sighed and shook her head. “Flynn, no one is stupid enough to fall for these tricks.”
“You won’t get far by cheating people like that; you’ve disappointed me.”
Charlotte was extremely excited and had already imagined what would happen next: Flynn would be beaten up badly until all four limbs were useless before being thrown out of Staraid Hotel!
However, what happened next shocked everyone beyond belief.
The old man swiped the card on the access control system at the door before gently pushing open the door while bowing 90 degrees respectfully towards Flynn, “Respected Staraid VIP Card customer, welcome to Castle in Sky restaurant.”
“During your stay here, you may make any requests; Staraid Hotel will serve only you wholeheartedly.”
