Uriah’s words had barely left his mouth when Scarlet and Madeline’s eyes landed on Kamari, without waiting for Flynn to answer.
Boom!
Kamari felt a chill run from the soles of his feet to the top of his head as he saw the murderous look in his father’s eyes. Goosebumps erupted all over him.
Oh no! This wasn’t going to end well!
He knew better than anyone that when it came to hitting him, his dad never held back. No one could stop him once he got angry.
“Dad, listen to me. It was all a misunderstanding…” Kamari tried to explain.
“What?! You caused trouble at the auction?” Uriah knew immediately from Kamari’s expression that he was the one who started it all.
Boom!
Uriah exploded like a powder keg and didn’t hesitate for a moment before unleashing a barrage of punches and kicks on Kamari until he cried out in pain and begged for mercy.
“I told you to stay home and rest, but you had to come here causing trouble instead. Not only did you offend Mr. Clark, but you also lost me 30 million dollars! I’ll kill you!” Uriah fumed with anger as he thought about how much trouble this useless son had brought upon himself again today.
The more Uriah thought about it, the angrier he became. He already had grievances against this son who couldn’t do anything right; now that he’d caused such great harm again today…
Uriah stomped down hard on Kamari’s ankle with one foot until there was an audible crack as it broke underfoot.
Madeline watched with her mouth agape; she’d heard rumors about how explosive the Wong family patriarch could be, but seeing him beat up even his own son like this still shocked her deeply.
Flynn remained expressionless throughout; teaching Kamari a lesson wasn’t necessarily bad, since after experiencing something like this, maybe he would learn some restraint around young girls.
Scarlet watched everything unfold before her eyes with ripples forming in her beautiful gaze.
Flynn said earlier that there would be bloodshed today. Little did she know just how accurate those words would turn out!
This guy seemed capable of anything, even geomancy appraisal? Incredible!
After breaking Kamari’s ankle bone into pieces, Uriah calmed down slightly before snatching off Kamari’s jade pendant necklace then smashing it onto ground into tiny fragments.
He rushed over towards Flynn asking anxiously, “Mr. Clark, will destroying this jade pendant help improve my family’s fortune? Will my father get better soon?”
Flynn shook his head, “Nope. The jade pendant has too much negative energy which has already affected your family members’ aura.”
“I didn’t expect your son is actually your enemy. To cure your father we need both medical treatment and geomancy arrangements.”
“Otherwise within half year time your family will fall apart!”
“Home destroyed, family lost!”
Uriah was frightened by Flynn’s words and turned to look at Toby.
“Mr. Clark is right. This jade has been with Mr. Wong for three years and has had an irreversible impact on your family’s luck. We must set up a geomancy array to break it.” Toby nodded.
Uriah’s face turned pale, and he almost collapsed with a stumble before sighing heavily, “Although I have a bad temper, I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong. I donate tens of millions of dollars to charities every year, how could this happen to me?”
Kamari was also scared and knew he had caused big trouble. He quickly kowtowed to Flynn, “Mr. Clark, since you know so much about geomancy, you must have a solution! Please help us!”
Uriah also bowed his head in earnest request, “Mr. Clark, if you are willing to help restore my family’s fortune, I am willing to offer another 100 million in cash!”
Medeline was shocked when she heard this offer; it was equivalent to more than two years’ profit for the Kaur family!
Toby was also shocked. He considered himself well-known in the Ostrad geomancy community. Last time, he charged 2 million to relocate the Wong family’s ancestral grave. Yet, the Wong family was willing to pay a hundred million to this young man. It shattered his worldview!
At the same time, he felt somewhat annoyed, sensing that he was being underestimated.
Flynn, however, simply smiled faintly. “Mr. Wong, I have already treated your father and have entrusted Jumbo Auction House to deliver the medicine to your residence. As for the geomancy arrangement, it’s up to you to handle it!”
He had no personal connection with the Wong family, and his encounter with Uriah was merely coincidental.
If it weren’t for his relationship with Roman, he wouldn’t have even bothered to treat his illness.
Furthermore Kamari had wronged him twice already!
He helped treat Abraham while they can find someone else who specialized in breaking curses or setting up geomancy arrays.
Therefore Flynn saw no reason why he should continue helping them anymore, “Since you invited a geomancy master here today,” Flynn looked towards Toby with a smile on his face, “I’m sure that he should have some solutions.”
Toby nodded proudly, “Mr. Wong, I’ve encountered situations like yours over a dozen times. I can help you!” Uriah had no choice but to nod when he heard Toby’s words.
Flynn was Roman’s master and his martial arts skills were at the level of a grandmaster. He was like a divine dragon in the sky and did things as he pleased, already beyond the constraints of money.
He didn’t want to take action, even if Roman tried to persuade him, it would probably be useless.
“I’ll go home first and prepare some things. I’ll set up the formation for the Wong family this afternoon!” Toby arched his hand and looked at Flynn before turning around and leaving.
After Toby left, Uriah continued to smile at Flynn, “Mr. Clark, you’ve done great deeds for my family that we will never forget.”
“I don’t know if you can honor us by letting me treat you to dinner as thanks.”
Flynn waved his hand lightly and said, “No need, I still have things to do.”
“As for those medicines, cook them according to my instructions and feed them to your father along with Master Hewson’s formation method. Within half a month or so, the fortunes of your family should improve.”
Uriah was stunned but then nodded repeatedly, “I’ve noted down what you instructed me about this matter. If there is anything we can do for you in return in future related with my family affairs, just let us know!”
He quickly handed over a business card with his private number on it.
Flynn didn’t want it initially but seeing how sincere Uriah was being, he took it casually before putting it into his pocket.
Uriah watched Flynn leave with three others before glaring fiercely at Kamari angrily saying, “When you see Mr. Clark again next time, bow respectfully! And if I hear any more trouble from you again, then your skin will be peeled off!”
Kamari said aggrievedly, “How could I have known that there is really a true big shot hidden inside Energence Pharmaceuticals?”
“What did you say? Mr. Clark works at Energence Pharmaceuticals?” Uriah suddenly exclaimed in shock.
Kamari nodded affirmatively saying, “He joined Energence Pharmaceuticals two days ago as their head of security department; Rose values him highly too.”
“I offended him yesterday so Rose fired me!”
“What! Ms. Sharp fired you!” Uriah almost fainted from anger while pointing furiously at Kamari cursing loudly, “You’re such an idiotic waste! You missed out on such an incredible opportunity!”
“Why did fate give birth such an evil son like yourself?”
“However, it’s not too late yet. Energence Pharmaceuticals is definitely going to need funding for their new drug release today, and our family has to dig deep into our pockets and invest in Energence Pharmaceuticals!”
