“Hamish, you actually made a connection with Mr. Kennedy?” The crowd was amazed.
“Mr. Kennedy is worth billions and even the heads of the top ten families in Niarak treat him as an honored guest. Hamish can actually talk to him? That’s amazing!”
“Yeah! Mr. Kennedy is capable of creating huge waves with just one word. Even Braiden from Ipholn and Lilia from Pelens have to show him respect. You actually made a connection with him?”
“In Niarak, only Layla can suppress Orion’s power. Hamish, if you have time, could you introduce us to Orion?”
They were all children of third-tier wealthy families who had no ability to talk to someone like Orion themselves. Hearing that Hamish knew Orion made them admire him.
Flynn was also stunned by Hamish’s words and thought this guy must be really powerful?
Little did he know that he overestimated Hamish when he bragged about knowing Orion.
Hamish was pleased by their compliments and waved his hand saying, “Knowing Mr. Kennedy is nothing special compared to meeting Timothy at the art exhibition these days.”
“I had the honor of meeting Master Timothy once with my father and exchanged contact information.”
He sneered at Flynn as he continued, “So some people better admit they are holding fake paintings because if I ask Master Timothy for verification, not only will they lose face but also get beaten up!”
“You should know that Master Timothy has many famous followers; if he finds out someone is using his name for troublemaking purposes, there will be consequences!”
After taking another sip of wine triumphantly while looking coldly at Flynn, everyone burst into amazement again.
“Oh my God! Have you seen Master Timothy’s true appearance? And do you really have his contact information?”
“Master Timothy’s circle consists of billionaires; it’s amazing that you have his contact information!”
“Oh yeah! I remember now. Your dad participated in one of his exhibitions too, right? Did your family receive recognition from Master Timothy just like Rose did?”
Everyone was shocked again; the Lloyd family was so powerful. Not only could they talk to Orion but also received recognition from Master Timothy, making them even more impressed!
“That’s right! Master Timothy appreciates my father very much and would love to be friends with our family!” said Hamish proudly while looking at Flynn.
“Aren’t you surprised? Are you feeling ashamed?”
“Hehe, you’re not worthy of Callie. Anyone who can be her friend is lucky, so don’t have any other delusions!”
Hamish liked Callie and invited her over today to express his admiration for her. Although there was a big difference between the Lloyd family and the Pearce family, dreams still had to exist. What if he succeeded? He thought he was handsome and had made Callie happy during school, so he felt that he still had a good chance.
But then Flynn showed up.
Callie still liked Flynn, which made Hamish jealous and uncomfortable.
“Well, I’m really surprised,” Flynn nodded before turning to Callie. “I’ve already sent your gift. I’m going back now.”
Feeling bored, he stood up to leave.
“Wow! You have such strong self-esteem that you can’t handle it when we hit a nerve,” one of the men at the table said mockingly as Flynn left. “Or maybe you’re afraid Hamish will call Master Timothy on him?”
“We ruined his plan here,” another man chimed in with disdain towards Flynn’s intimacy with Callie. “He knows that staying won’t get him anywhere with Callie right now; all he can do is leave and try again later.”
“That makes sense,” another man added while looking at Callie intently. “Callie, keep your eyes open because we saw through his fake painting act easily enough; no blushing or heart racing means this guy is no ordinary person, very experienced! You can tell just by looking!”
All of these men were unhappy about how close Flynn was getting to their friend and were ready to attack him verbally or physically if necessary.
Hamish was especially pleased because earlier on in the conversation when he mentioned Timothy’s name, it scared off Flynn who wanted an excuse to leave anyway.
“What are you all doing?” Callie, angered by everyone’s hostility towards Flynn, exclaimed, “If you continue like this, we can’t be friends anymore!”
“No matter what you say, my life was given to me by Mr. Clark. He is the most important person in my heart for my entire life!”
Seeing Callie’s anger and her strong support for Flynn, Hamish let out a light snort and downed a glass of alcohol with force.
Callie glanced at him displeased, then turned to Flynn with infinite apologies.
“Mr. Clark, I’m really sorry. I didn’t expect them to be so rude.”
“Last time at the Fish Dragon Villa, I was planning to have a dinner with you, but you left at noon.”
“Let’s go somewhere else instead. I want to properly toast you a few glasses.”
Flynn, seeing the guilt on Callie’s face and her earnest grip on his arm, was momentarily taken aback by her sincere expression.
Could this girl possibly have feelings for him?
Even as a straightforward man, Flynn could sense Callie’s intentions.
Before Flynn could figure out how to respond, an elderly man in his sixties walked over.
With flowing hair and beard, wearing layered cloth shoes, a blue robe, and green pants, he exuded the aura of a master artist.
“Mr. Clark, are you also eating here?” The person who came was “Fake Timothy” Augustine. He ran over with surprise written all over his face.
“Hmm?” Flynn frowned. “Why haven’t you left yet?”
“Oh, it’s like this!” Augustine explained with a smile. “We were supposed to leave tonight but I received a call from Micah at the hotel saying there’s a party at Everland Hotel so I came early.”
“There’s a party here? Who’s hosting it?” Flynn raised an eyebrow.
Augustine was taken aback and somewhat embarrassed as he replied, “I don’t know either. The host contacted Micah and I just came for free food and drinks without caring about these things.”
“Hmm? Is this young lady your friend?”
He noticed Callie holding onto Flynn’s arm and furrowed his brow since she wasn’t the same woman from last time!
Callie felt uneasy and quickly let go of his arm while blushing slightly as she said, “Um, Mr. Clark is my savior who brought me a gift so I let him sit here for a while.”
“Gift?” Augustine was surprised when he saw the scroll in Callie’s hand before smiling knowingly.
No wonder the King of the Underworld didn’t want to go to Shelon or accept Dragon Cavalry in Haralu Jungle; he had so many beautiful women around him that he couldn’t move!
Upon hearing this, Flynn suddenly thought of something before saying lightly to Augustine, “Since you’re already here, then tell them about your latest work ‘Scenery of Streams, Mountains, Flowers and Moon’. It’s yours, right?”
“Your work?” Callie suddenly looked towards Augustine with shock written all over her face as she exclaimed, “You… you’re Master Timothy?”
Hamish and others were also surprised as they looked towards him together.
Augustine first froze but then understood what Flynn meant before nodding seriously, “Yes! That’s me!”
“This young lady has my new creation in her hand,” he continued speaking directly to Callie while pointing at the scroll she held up high.
