Uriah was stunned by Flynn’s words. He couldn’t believe that his father’s diabetes, which had developed into a full-body illness, would only take a month to cure with just one medicine, as Flynn so casually put it. And even the best doctors can only control diabetes; how could Flynn be so certain that one medicine could cure it?
The Wong family was dumbfounded but overjoyed at the same time. They never expected two medical geniuses like Flynn and Roman to show up today, especially Flynn who claimed he could cure their grandfather’s diabetes with just one medicine.
Roman was also slightly shocked after hearing this news. For years he had been praised by people all over the world and thought he had reached the pinnacle of his medical career until he learned about Flynn from a top-notch family. His skills were unparalleled and mysterious.
Roman didn’t believe it at first but went to Demon Island to see for himself where he witnessed Flynn treating patients using three sets of ancient lost acupuncture techniques that left Roman in awe and wanting him as his mentor.
After returning home, Roman practiced diligently for three years hoping to close the gap between himself and Flynn but found there was still an insurmountable difference between them.
Flynn placed Abraham Wong’s hand back under the covers before standing up and saying, “Mr. Wong has liver-kidney energy deficiency with negative deficiency syndrome; Buddha’s Hand Fruit sixty grams each along with Angelica Root sixty grams each plus thirty grams of Musk Deer glandular secretion powder, Kudzu root tuber powder (Pueraria), Cattle Gallstone Powder and Yellow Wax tree bark powder.”
“Take this medication three times per day for ten days, then switch solely to Buddha’s Hand Fruit for another ten days before stopping altogether.”
“Buddha’s Hand Fruit is a highly nourishing food item; however, since Mr. Wong is too weak, we need 100-year-old or older ones which have been stored for at least ten years.”
“A hundred-year-old Buddha’s Hand Fruit will ensure long-lasting medicinal effects while being stored quietly allows its potency not be too strong on your ather’s body.”
“Musk Deer glandular secretion powder and Cattle Gallstone Powder must be naturally formed rather than artificially made, because they can worsen your father’s condition if not natural.”
“What? Are these conditions really necessary?” Uriah took out a bank card from his pocket with an awkward smile on his face, “Mr. Clark here is 2 million dollars in this card password 123456. please help us choose our medicines. You keep what you need as compensation, okay?”
“We’re afraid we might pick wrong medicines which may harm our grandpa!”
“Well then, since I know Mr. Price well enough, I’ll help you buy them!” said Flynn determinedly wanting nothing more than helping others in need thus accepting Uriah’s offer without hesitation.
Tomorrow’s Pharma Congress will not lack for valuable medicinal herbs. If he had the chance, buy some.
After taking the bank card, Flynn turned to Roman and said, “Use the Red Phoenix Needle Technique I taught you to stabilize Mr. Wong’s condition. Tomorrow I’ll buy some medicine for him to take and there won’t be any major problems.”
Turning to Uriah, he continued, “There are over thirty members of your family and aside from Mr. Wong and three others who are sick, I’ve discovered seven more patients.”
“It’s unusual for half a family to be sick,” Flynn remarked.
“Have everyone in the family undergo a full body checkup and then hire a good geomancy master! The problem should be in the backyard; otherwise there will be a big misfortune within a month!”
Flynn excused himself first while members of the Wong family saw him off at their doorstep until he drove away.
“Mr. Price, Mr. Clark also knows geomancy?” Uriah asked incredulously.
Roman nodded without elaborating much further as he seriously advised, “He said that there is something wrong with your backyard geomancy so there definitely is something wrong with it; you should still hire a geomancy master!”
Uriah was taken aback by Roman’s words as he murmured, “Who exactly is this young man? To achieve such accomplishments at such an early age!”
Nathan was also shocked as he finally understood why Roman called Flynn his master out of genuine respect rather than just polite words!
“Master, why didn’t you ask about King of Poison earlier?” Nathan regretfully whispered.
Upon hearing this question from Nathan, Roman glared at him fiercely before scolding harshly, “You brat! Didn’t I tell you earlier to watch your words? But nope, your mouth couldn’t keep shut!”
“He has an eccentric temper so it was already lucky enough that we got to meet him today,” Roman continued solemnly while warning Nathan, “If we offend him now, then we won’t have much room left for recovery later on.”
“What do we do now?” Nathan felt helpless.
If only he had been more respectful from the beginning, then Flynn might have agreed, but now how would they explain themselves to National Security Bureau’s leaders when they returned? They were sure to face punishment upon returning home!
Sighing deeply after dismissing all members of the Wong family present, Roman sat down on his chair before dialing up someone on his phone, “Mr. Price!” A slightly old but very imposing voice came through on his phone line soon after.
“Mr. Spencer, King of Poison has come over here in Ostrad,” Roman spoke gravely into his phone receiver.
There was silence over two seconds before sounds squeezed out between teeth, “Ayden!”
“Even after spending billions and hiring hundreds of top assassins, I still couldn’t find him! That bastard actually went back?”
“It’s been thirteen years, and the George family’s thirteen members still haven’t found peace. My poor daughter also died at his hands.”
“Mr. Price, you tell me where Ayden is! Even if I have to spend all my fortune, I will kill him!”
The voice was as low as a dragon’s roar, every word filled with murderous intent.
Roman paused for a moment before shaking his head. “Mr. Spencer, your men may not be able to kill him and could even alert him.”
“This opportunity is rare; if we let him escape again, we may never catch him!”
“I know someone who can help us; I guarantee that he can leave Ayden in Ostrad…”
After Barney Spencer learned more about the plan from Roman, he immediately replied, “As long as it helps me seek revenge for my daughter and in-laws, I will follow your arrangements!”
“I’ll go to Niarak right away and ask Mr. Clark for help!”
The phone hung up; Roman sighed deeply, “If even Barney can’t persuade Flynn to come out of hiding, then there is nothing else we can do.”
“Barney?” Nathan perked up when he heard the name, “Master, are you talking about Barney Spencer? The head of Shipmeda’s first clan, the Spencer family?”
“Isn’t his son also the Governor of Shipmeda?”
Although not the richest family in Shipmeda, in terms of heritage no other wealthy families dared compete with them.
With assets worth trillions but without any officials among their ranks, they were only considered wealthy families.
However, several hundred years ago, their ancestors held high positions within government which had continued until now making them an aristocratic clan!
There was no doubt that the Spencer family was Shipmeda’s most prominent aristocratic clan! They dominated over all other wealthy families in Shipmeda!
Roman nodded, “Yes, thirteen years ago, King of Poison wiped out Barney’s relatives, the George family, who were also his in-laws.”
“He has decided to come to Niarak himself and plead with Flynn for help!”
