“Mr. Kennedy, Mr. Gallagher, you two are being too cautious considering the decision was just made now!” Braiden stepped forward a few steps and chuckled.
“But it doesn’t matter, it’s never too late to invest in the Swanson’s Group. You can just sit back and make money!”
Orion smiled as he spoke. “Sorry, Mr. Swanson, we have already decided to invest in Ms. Sharp.”
Edwin nodded in agreement.
Everyone was stunned.
Braiden furrowed his brow and nodded slowly. “Hmm, with Ms. Richardson’s team joining Davies’ Pharmaceuticals, it is understandable that they could rise up and investing millions wouldn’t be unreasonable.”
“After all, making money on both ends is not a problem! How much money do you decide to invest in the Swanson’s Group?”
Orion smiled and shook his head, saying, “We won’t invest in the Swanson’s Group, only in the Davies’ Pharmaceuticals, and it’s not just a few million.”
“Not investing in the Swanson’s Group? Only investing in Davies’ Pharmaceuticals? It seems like you two big shots want to play small ball by only throwing around a few million dollars!”

“Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Gallagher, you should change your direction sooner rather than later since real estate industry has already reached its saturation point unless you come across good land plots. Otherwise, profits won’t be as considerable as before.”
“You should focus more on investments worth billions into pharmaceuticals instead.”
Orion nodded along with what he said next, “So we each will put out 500 million dollars to invest into Davies’ Pharmaceuticals!”

“Are Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Kennedy crazy? Don’t they fear losing all their money by investing so much in Davies’ Pharmaceuticals?”
“Well, to be blunt, Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Gallagher are typical examples of people with too much money but not enough sense. Investing in a new company can earn them more through original shares, but that depends on whether the Sharp’s Group can take off!”
Braiden furrowed his brow and said seriously, “Mr. Kennedy, Mr. Gallagher, are you joking?”
Orion waved his hand and laughed, “Mr. Swanson, we’re serious! Sorry about that – we like to take risks and think investing in the Sharp’s Group will bring us more profit!”
“We particularly like Ms. Sharp’s abilities.” Edwin coughed twice before saying slowly, “We’ve worked with Sharp’s Group on several projects before and know Ms. Sharp’s capabilities; we feel she won’t lose this time.”
“Most importantly,” he continued, “Mr. Kennedy and I received Kevin’s guidance when we first started out.”
“So now that Ms. Sharp has established a new company with the addition of Ms. Richardson’s team, we feel it makes sense both emotionally as well as logically to invest some capital into it!”
Orion nodded without giving away any opinion.
At this moment Layla couldn’t sit still anymore; she frowned saying, “Mr. Kennedy, investment is no child’s play. You need to think carefully about the consequences if things go wrong- you could end up losing everything!”
Edwin spoke up, “It doesn’t matter, Ms. Woods. We have over 1 billion dollars cash flow between us.”
“Even if the money was lost, it would only be like losing an arm – it wouldn’t affect our core business!”
After confirming this, Layla looked coldly proud, “Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Gallagher, business is war, and though we may be friends; if helping the Sharp’s group means going against each other, then there will be no mercy from us!”
Orion smiled slightly, “Each man for himself, everyone understands the rules. Ms. Woods, you can make your move. If you lose then so be it.”
“Mr. Kennedy, you’re not helping Rose but rather harming her!”
“That’s right. The Swanson group didn’t even consider Davies’ Pharmaceuticals before. You putting 1 billion dollars into it means the Swanson group will use its vast network of resources and funds to suppress Davies’ Pharmaceuticals.”
“For us 1 billion is a lot, but for the Swanson group, it is just a drop in the bucket!”

“From today onwards,” Flynn declared loudly “The Sharp’s group declares war on all competing companies – total war!”
“Those who follow wealth prosper; those who resist perish!”
After hearing what Flynn said, Rose nodded her head too saying, “Business is business. If any of you are neutral or supportive, then I still consider you friends.”
“But if you stand against me, then you are my enemy!”
“From now on whoever touches my things must face me at risk of life itself!”
