“You just took advantage of Rose and made me peel shrimp for you, dream on!” Kimber turned her head away, maintaining her stubbornness and arrogance.
“What’s going on?” Layla saw the anger in Kimber and Flynn’s eyes when they exchanged glances. She frowned and asked.
Kimber said, “I made a bet with Flynn just now. If Ms. Richardson joins the Davies’ Pharmaceuticals, he gets to have his shrimp peeled by me; otherwise, he apologizes to you.”
Layla was taken aback and shook her head. “Since you made the bet with him, then accept it if you lose. How can you go back on your word?”
“We both underestimated Kevin and Rose’s charm. Being able to bend without breaking is what makes a true hero! Let this be a lesson!”
“Oh!” Kimber had no choice but to go over to Flynn’s side with an expressionless face peeling shrimp for him.
“Still gotta be the boss!” Orion looked at everything that had just happened in amazement.
Edwin nodded his head and laughed, “Just an appetizer has already caused quite a stir! The boss will come up with even more methods in the future. How will these people defend against them?!”
“For once I feel like I’m making money while lying down after earning so much over the years.”
The two clinked their glasses together before their smiles lingered on their faces for some time.
“Rose, do you think that by having Ms. Richardson join Davies’ Pharmaceuticals means that your family has risen again?” Braiden sneered at her.
“A team is only basic. Developing new products requires massive funding. Look at the Swanson Group – we invest more than 200 million dollars annually into research alone.”
“You can’t get that much money,” said Braiden.
“I never thought Ms. Richardson joining would mean the Sharp’s Group would return to its peak immediately,” she continued calmly. “Before bankruptcy hit us, I was always prepared for danger lurking around every corner, and now even more so. I’ll cherish this opportunity better than ever before, to see who’s loyal around me, and put all my energy into regaining everything we lost!”
Flynn nodded after hearing these words. Rose managed to keep the Sharp’s Group running despite being blocked by millions of funds from outside sources as well as traitors within. The fact she managed it for ten years showed she had willpower beyond ordinary people. Kevin really did raise such an amazing daughter!
Milo sneered, “Take it back? Are you giving an acceptance speech?”
“How can a grasshopper like you take meat from the tiger’s mouth?”
“You should be thinking about how to keep Davies’ Pharmaceuticals! If Swanson’s Group orders it, no one will dare give you a penny of support!'”
River was also full of disdain and coldly snorted, “Those who know the times are wise. Sharp’s Group is on its way out. You should sell it and leave Niarak to enjoy your later years!”
“Otherwise, whether or not you survive this year is in question!”
Flynn picked up a shrimp and put it in his mouth before walking over to River nonchalantly. He said calmly, “A traitor like you would have their tongue cut out and their third leg removed if they were in our prison.”
“Do you know why? Because traitors don’t deserve to live or speak!”
River didn’t get angry but instead smirked arrogantly. “But I haven’t gone there yet! Does that make you angry?”
“You can only rely on your silver tongue against me because I’m untouchable!”
“It’s actually clowns like yourself who think that by climbing up Rose, they’ll become rich and successful.”
“But it’s just a pipe dream!”
“Swanson’s group will continue to grow with new drugs being released constantly along with round after round of financing.”
“While Rose can only run around for several thousand dollars time after time until her fighting spirit dies down completely ending in despair!”
“Run around for several thousand dollars?” Flynn chuckled at what he heard before raising an eyebrow.
“I could call up tens of millions with just one phone call! All she needs to do is manage the company internally well. Why does she need to run around?”
After hearing this statement from Flynn, everyone present shook their heads repeatedly.
“Young man, you’re still too naive even though Katrina’s team has joined forces with yours.”
“If you go looking for investors with this matter alone, they won’t agree because investors look at the overall strength of an enterprise!”
“Do you understand how much tens of millions dollars is worth? Do people think investor money falls from the sky? Just because Ms. Richardson’s team has a good reputation doesn’t mean investors will give you money.”
Braiden shook his head and said to Flynn, “There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be a part of loyal followers, after all, everyone wants to climb the ladder. But you also need to understand your own abilities!”

Everyone was stunned at first but then burst out laughing.
“He didn’t even listen when we were talking earlier! Does he think that because Katrina joined Rose’s team that we’ll bow down?”
“This guy hasn’t seen much of the world yet. He thinks he can get rich just because he has some small achievements.”
Everyone shook their heads thinking Flynn was too naive.
Katrina’s team was strong but it was like putting good saddle on an excellent horse – it would only add more beauty. Following Rose would mean being stranded on a beach as whales unable use their strength effectively.
Braiden sneered several times before saying, “You won’t get investment by shouting alone. You must have real strength and new products!”
“Just look at today: Acebegron Clear Relief received 800 million investments right after its release! Today we may receive over 1 billion easily!”
“You see Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Gallagher are here too? They’ve probably already decided whether or not they want invest,” Braiden continued as everyone looked towards Orion and Edwin walking over from the corner causing quite stir.
“These two are heavyweights today! They must have weighed all aspects before deciding whether or not they want invest in Swanson Group.”
“With assets worth over 5 billion each – even if they casually put up funds – Swanson Group will definitely exceed 2 billion total investment today!”
“Wow… the Swanson Group really has some serious influence! They managed to gather all the influential figures in Niarak for this new product launch. It seems like the Swanson family has a tight grip on this town!”
Edwin and Orion chuckled awkwardly upon hearing these words from the crowd.
