Mr Adams drives Dave home and follows him into the house. Dave had asked Mr Adams why he wanted to see his mother but Mr Adams said he just wanted to accompany him inside.
Anna POV
I was sitting on the sofa waiting for Dave to come back from work. A knock comes to the door and I get up to open then door.
“Welcome home Dave.” I said after opening the door.
I was about to close the door after Dave entered but the door widened even more. I shook and took some steps back.
Mr Adams then came in. What’s he doing here?
“Good evening to you too madam.” Mr Adams said.
“I’m sorry Mr Adams. I didn’t notice you standing there at all. I only opened the door wide enough for Dave to come in.” I explained.
“There’s nothing to worry about madam. I only accompanied your son, Dave, home. I’m already on my way to my house now.” Mr Adams said.
It would be rude if I don’t offer to walk him to the gate. After all it’s how I trained Dave to be, so I have to be a good example to my son.
“Dave why didn’t you tell me your boss followed you here?” I asked Dave.
“Sorry mother. I didn’t know he was still there. I thought he had left.” Dave replied.
“Okay. But it shouldn’t repeat itself.” I told Dave.
“It won’t repeat itself mother.” Dave replied.
“Okay Mr Adams, I’ll walk you to the gate.” I said.
This might actually be a good chance for me to give him a warning to stay away from me. I’m sick and tired of all this. I want to have a clear conscience whenever I’m with my son.
I followed Mr Adams to the gate and we stood there outside of it.
“I don’t want you coming here again please. And I don’t want you near me.” I said to him.
Even if I don’t think that’s a good way to start I have to start from somewhere anyway.
“And why is that?” He asked.
“It’s because I don’t want a relationship with you. I want anything else but my son’s happiness.” I said.
“Hey babe. You really can’t do this. We have to finish what we started.” He said.
“What happened between us in your office is nothing but a mistake I’d much rather forget.” I replied.
“But you must admit, there’s this chemistry between us.” He said and pressed my ass.
I can’t believe this dog actually has the guts to touch my ass right now. Is he deaf or what?
I pushed his hand away and turned to leave but then he does the worst.
He used both his hands and smacked both sides of my ass.
I couldn’t hold myself anymore. I turned to him with a thunderous slap and man did I land it well.
“You slapped me?! You actually had the audacity to slap me?!” He said.
“Yes! And I will do it again and again! I’ve warned you to stay away from me and yet you chose to pay deaf ears to my words.” I replied.
I stormed back inside my compound.
“The battle has just began.” I heard him say.
I composed myself and went back into the house.
“Mother you spent a lot of time outside. I almost came out myself to check on you.” Dave said.
“It’s nothing Dave. Your boss only wanted to discuss something with me.” I said.
“Okay mother. Come join me let’s eat.” Dave said.
“Okay.” I said and sat beside him.
I’m glad I got all that off my chest. Now I don’t have to worry about anything anymore.
“Mother can you guess what happened at work today?” Dave asked me.
“No. What happened?” I asked him.
“I didn’t do anything at work today. I sat on my desk all day but ended up falling asleep on my desk. Mr Adams didn’t send me on any errands.” Dave explained.
“You mean you didn’t work today?” I asked in surprise.
“Yes mother. I think he did it because I was sick, don’t you think so?” Dave said.
“Sure son.” I replied.
“I think everything is coming back to normal now mother. For a minute there I thought he has started to hate me.” Dave said.
“That’s a good sign Dave. Remember, don’t ever loose hope.” I said.
“I’m so glad.” He said and continued eating.
Mr Adams treated Dave badly just the other day right? Then why did he suddenly become nice to him? Wait… But how come it was only after what happened between I and Mr Adams that he suddenly started becoming so nice to Dave like that? I remember that Dave complained to me about the way Mr Adams treated him badly.
Oh my God. It’s because of the way I treated him in the past that he treated my son badly. And it’s also because of what happened between us in his office that he treated Dave nice today.
Uh no… I’ve been the one causing my son all these problems. It’s all my fault…
Adams POV
I left Anna’s place with the feeling of great pains on my cheek. So she had the audacity to slap me?! I? Mr Adams? She hasn’t seen anything yet.
I’m going to make her pay! She doesn’t even know what I’m capable of. I just have think of the right move to make.
If she thinks I’m coming after her then she must be mistaken. Yes! I will keep going after her son.
Ha ha ha. I don’t know how she will take it after her son comes home on foot tomorrow after an extremely tiring and stressful day at work. I’ve given her many chances to change her mind and do what I want but she still choses to be stubborn.
Anna. You must really take me as one of those men that can easily be thrown of your back just because of an ordinary slap. Well well well, I can see that you have succeed in being a big fool.
