“Maybe after finding a woman, he heard that Mr. Kennedy was here and wanted to come and flatter him!” Kimber snorted with disdain in her eyes.
Flynn’s face darkened as he asked, “Then what are you two doing here? Looking for male escorts?”
“But I heard there are only female escorts here!”
“Are you two lesbians then?”
“How dare you!” Kimber exclaimed angrily. “Do you think we have no shame like you?”
“We came for a massage!”
Flynn raised an eyebrow and said, “Yeah, if you can come for a massage, why can’t I?”
Kimber rolled her eyes skeptically.
Layla looked disappointed as she said, “It seems like my advice last time didn’t sink in at all.”
“If you want to make connections with the powerful people, fine. But don’t aim too high.”
“Mr. Kennedy is not someone you can just climb up to.”
“If you want to move up in the world, I can introduce some slightly more influential people to you.”
“If you work hard enough, maybe ten years from now, Mr. Kennedy will talk to you.”
Flynn chuckled before saying indifferently, “Listen carefully: If I don’t come to Niarak, Orion won’t even be on my radar.”
“Stop acting so high and mighty, and stop making assumptions about my life!” he said.
“Because when the truth comes out, you’ll realize how ridiculous you sound!”
With that, he turned and walked away.
Layla’s face fell. Her decision to call off the wedding had affected Flynn too much, and it probably didn’t sit well with Madeline either. He was probably just venting here.
“Ridiculous? You’re the one who’s ridiculous right now!”
“You talk big, but if you really have any ambition, why are you still trying to be a son-in-law?”
Kimber watched Flynn walk away with disdain in her eyes.
The two of them entered through the door.
“Oh! Miss Woods is here. Please have a seat!” Orion had just finished a call with the stone company and quickly greeted Layla to sit down.
Layla wanted to ask Orion who his important guest was but didn’t want to seem nosy. She smiled instead, “Mr. Swanson is holding a celebration at his estate tomorrow. He asked me if you and Mr. Gallagher would like to attend.”
“Mr. Swanson? Braiden Swanson?” Orion raised an eyebrow in surprise.
Layla nodded with a smile on her face.
Orion was slightly surprised and said, “Oh! That’s a talented young man!”
“I heard he’s very capable. With the 20 million startup capital given by the Swanson family, he successfully invested in three companies in just three years and made over 100 million net profit.”
Layla commented without expressing her opinion.
“He’s coming to Niarak tomorrow to talk about cooperation with you, so he asked me to come and ask,” she continued.
After thinking for a moment, Orion smiled and said, “If Mr. Swanson is coming over, then of course I’ll give face. Tomorrow I’ll go with Mr. Gallagher.”
“I just don’t know what important matter could make Mr. Swanson come all the way to Niarak,” Orion pondered out loud.
Layla shook her head and replied, “I don’t know either. Mr. Swanson only mentioned that there will be a new drug release announcement after various celebrities arrive.”

Flynn left Club Apex and returned to Plenilune Mountain.
He lay on his bed recalling what had happened today when suddenly he realized that he had neglected an issue.
“Alan… um… I reminded him at least three times but in the end he still went down that path.”
“Well then let him go!”
“But where did this guy run off to?”
“He had contact with River but does the Stewart family have the ability to send him abroad?”
Flynn couldn’t make sense of it all so he rolled over and fell asleep.
The next morning, Flynn received a call from Scarlet. She had already made an appointment with the CEO of Hogstones Group. Flynn quickly arrived at the destination.
“Where is everyone?” Flynn asked when he saw only Scarlet.
Scarlet checked her watch and said with some frustration, “We agreed to meet at ten o’clock, but they haven’t shown up yet.”
“Let’s wait then,” Flynn replied as he sat down.
“Brother-in-law, are you really planning to help Rose take back the company?” Scarlet continued. “The other three families are not easy to deal with! Layla can stand on equal footing with Teddy, and both the Swanson family and Dragon Gate are no pushovers. They’re almost as strong as the Woods family.”
If what Madeline said today was true, then according to Flynn’s assessment, he was only one level stronger than Orion. It seemed like a mismatched battle in terms of strength.
Scarlet’s long flowing hair draped over her shoulders while her eyelashes curved upwards in a graceful arc. Her white blouse couldn’t hide her ample chest which occasionally trembled slightly – it was enough to catch anyone’s attention.
Flynn couldn’t help but glance at her twice before saying nonchalantly, “They’re nothing but small fries! If I want to, I could destroy all three families with just one word.”
“I just don’t want to do it, because I want to keep slapping Layla’s face over and over again in the competition!”
“This woman is too arrogant, she needs a good beating!”
He didn’t like Layla, and after meeting her at the club yesterday, his emotions reached their peak.
Scarlet frowned slightly.
The combined market value of the other three parties was over 50 billion dollars. Could Flynn really make them disappear with just one sentence?
Scarlet felt there was a lot of bragging going on here.
But she was looking forward to the upcoming clash between them.
Perhaps he would shine when Rose and Layla were fighting fiercely!
Thinking about this, Scarlet felt that she needed to step up her game in seizing opportunities.
Madeline would eventually find out about Flynn’s abilities. If she hadn’t dealt with him by then, Flynn would return to Madeline’s embrace.
She used to feel sorry for her sister, but now she felt like it wouldn’t be fair if she didn’t take action herself.
“Brother-in-law, you can spend millions on an outsider. That’s not fair! I also want a piece of Davies’ Pharmaceuticals!”
Scarlet pouted and shook her body playfully as her full legs wrapped in silk stockings brushed against Flynn’s hand.
The icy smooth touch made Flynn twitch his eyebrows.
Flynn withdrew his hand and took a sip of tea, thinking for a moment before saying, “You shouldn’t get involved with Davies’ Pharmaceuticals. If you really want to make money, I’ll give you control of the Ponocord Bay property in a little while.”
As he spoke, he couldn’t help but glance at the pair of slender legs that were pressed together. Suddenly, he had an urge to reach out and pinch them…
