Book:Tell me you love me Published:2024-5-28

Lucas stood up, but he did not go away as Olivia thought. He looked at Olivia and said, “I will not give up.”
Despite he needed to spend his whole life, he will never give up on Olivia.
Olivia closed her eyes.
She worried she will agree accidentally. If so, that was not fair.
She did not know how long she could live. Therefore, she did not want to mess up with Lucas. She thought Lucas deserved to have a better life and a better woman.
By looking at this situation, Janet was very anxious. Although she was still young, she knew that there shall be a father and a mother to make up a complete family. She did not understand why her mom did not want to accept her dad.
She wanted to talk to Olivia but Lucas stopped her and said, “Let your mom rest.”
Olivia did not open her eyes.
Olivia opened her eyes when no one else was inside the ward. She then looked at the ceiling blankly.
She did not understand why she had to suffer so much.
Lucas brought Janet out of the ward. They stood outside and had a conversation.
“What have you done to my mom?” Janet censured Lucas.
Janet did not adore Lucas like she used to.
“Please do not tell lies, if you didn’t hurt mom, why doesn’t she want to forgive you!”
Janet seemed to understand Olivia better than Lucas.
Olivia was a soft-hearted person, who was impossible to be so indifferent towards Lucas.
Lucas looked at Janet, not knowng where to begin the story with.
What did he do?
He did nothing.
He looked at Olivia crying alone in the dark indifferently and felt that being indifferent towards her was very hurting.
Lucas looked into Janet’s eyes, but no even a single word can come out of his mouth.
It was his fault.
Janet was disappointed. She stared at him and then walked into the ward.
“Mom!”
Olivia looked at her with a gentle look, “Why had happened, my dear.”
Janet shook her head and buried her head into Olivia’s arms. After a few minutes, she asked, “Mom, please do the things that you want to do, I am fine with anything.”
Olivia felt very touched because a kid can come out with such mature words. Olivia tried not to show her sadness and touched Janet’s hair gently, “Silly child.”
Olivia looked at the scenery outside and become melancholy.
She understood that her health condition was terrible now. If she could not fight the virus, she would die.
She did not want to burden others.
She touched her daughter’s face and said, “Janet, this is what mom wants to tell you too. Do whatever you want. Mom will support you forever.”
If Janet needed a father, Olivia did not mind being together with Lucas. She was very willing to do that as there was someone who could take care of Janet after she died.
Jacob was old. Owen had his family, so he could not take good care of Janet. However, Lucas was different. He had owed Olivia plus the fact that Janet was his biological daughter, he would definitely be kind to Janet.
Olivia was very worried about her daughter’s future.
The child was the one thing she could not let go of.
She really did not want to die.
She hugged Janet while her tears could not stop.
