The Plan

Everyone is now looking at Beatrice and waiting for her following sentence. They’re all curious about her suggestion, and eventually, this is the very first time they all hear her giving advice.
“If they already found the person they’re looking for, then the war will not happen, right?” Beatrice asked nervously, as this was the first time she would suggest Isaac.
“Yeah…” Isaac answered.
“Then, if ever we helped them to look for that person, this will lessen the possibility of having a clan war between two organizations,” Beatrice said, so Craig laughed as if he heard her telling some jokes.
“Are you not listening to what he said?” Craig asked Beatrice. “Isaac said that they didn’t give any information about that person they’re looking for, so how could you look for someone if you don’t even know the details?” Craig asked, so Beatrice stopped and then answered his question.
“But if this person they’re looking for is significant to them, then it is possible that it is one of the Alpha under their organization. We can make some effort to find out in ourselves who they’re looking for.” Beatrice said, so Craig stopped and thought of another way to make a hole in her plan.
“What do you mean by effort?” Athena asked, so Beatrice turned to look at her.
“Do some research about their organization and hire some spy to investigate inside their organization, and in that case, we could have some information they didn’t tell us,” Beatrice answered, so everyone except Nate and Isaac laughed.
“Hired a spy to investigate in their place? Now you’re saying we should pay someone from our pack to spy in their place? Are you putting people’s lives in danger here?” Athena asked.
“If they found out about this spy thing, what do you think will happen, huh? They probably trigger to start the war immediately and, worse, kill the person we hired.” Craig said, so Beatrice swallowed because of what they said.
“I suggest we wait until the date they give comes. Let’s fight them if they’re willing to start a war,” Donna said, so Beatrice laughed sarcastically.
“Now you’re suggesting this stupid stuff? Putting the life of your clan in danger for making this kind of decision, huh?” Beatrice said, so Donna was suddenly shocked by what she said.
“Did you just call it stupid?” Donna asked with her mad voice.
“Yeah, because you’re thinking like an idiot, Alpha.” Beatrice couldn’t maintain to calm herself as her anger issue burst out. Nate, on the other hand, notices that, so he holds her hand to make sure that she will not do such a thing as what he’s thinking now.
“What the fuck did you just say?!” Donna shouted and was about to come to hurt Beatrice when Isaac tapped the table with his entire force, which made a loud noise to make the two stop.
“Can you just act normal for once? This is not the right time to fight with each other. We’re discussing a dire situation here.” Isaac said in his angry voice and turned to look at Beatrice.
“Continue what you suggest, and I will listen to it.” He added, so Beatrice looked at Donna with her sharp eyes and took a deep breath to calm herself down.
“As I said, instead of letting the war happen, why would we make a prevention for it? Putting one life in danger is more okay for me than putting all the lives of our clan members in danger.” Beatrice said and looked at each other’s faces.
“We should think about the quality of our act.” She added and turned to look at Isaac.
“If we do what I suggest, maybe we can start the war and gain their trust once we find who they are looking for.” She said that everyone in the room fell silent after hearing her words.
Isaac thought about what she said and nodded.
“Does anyone here have the opposite suggestion?” Isaac asked and looked at the Alpha in front of him.
“Any suggestions or opinions about her suggestions?” Isaac asked once again, but no one answered him, so he took a deep breath and looked at Natw, who was looking at Beatrice.
“Nate, do you have any opinion regarding her suggestion?” Isaac asked him, so Nate turned to look at him and shook his head.
“None, as I also wanted to do her suggestion,” Nate said, so Beatrice looked at him. “I found out that she’s correct when she said that we should prevent the war early, though her suggestion seems complicated at first, but I do have a plan to support her suggestion,” Nate added, so Isaac leaned on his chair and drank his last drop of wine in his glass.
“Then, in that case, you and Beatrice will lead the plan,” Isaac said, so the other Alpha looked at him and objected to his words.
“I object!” Says the three Alpha who don’t like following Beatrice and Nate’s leads.
“What do you mean by leading? We all here are Alpha. We should move as one, not like a servant who will follow the leader’s word.” Craig said, so Isaac and Nate turned to look at him.
“How can you trust a newly elected Alpha? She doesn’t even prove herself to us. What if she’s the one behind all this mess?” Athena said.
“I will not follow anyone who is just the same level as me,” Donna said, so Isaac took a deep breath and stood in his chair.
“In that case, you must prove that your clan is a coward and putting pride first in any situation,” Isaac said seriously. So Athena, Craig, and Donna were stunned after hearing his words.
“We created this organization to be as one, not to follow one Alpha,” Craig said, so Isaac looked at him.
“If the three of you don’t like hearing Beatrice and Nate’s words just for this event, then I suggest leaving this organization as I no longer want to keep a coward Alpha like you,” Isaac said directly, which made Craig trigger for what he said.
“We are not cowards; we are just fighting for our rights under this organization.” Craig objected.
“Rights for what?” Isaac asked, so Craig stopped as he couldn’t answer his question.
“If a leader like you is not interested in doing things that can make your clan better or can make your clan safe, then you may exit the door as it is open for every coward,” Isaac said, and because of that, no one tries to speak or object again as they know that leaving the organization can put the risk of their clan and their profile in the City.
Isaac turned to look at Beatrice and Nate before he left the room.
“I trust you with these.” He said and started to walk to the exit door of the room.
