A man came in from the door, and his aura was so powerful that it shut everyone in the room. He is mid to 30 years old, and Beatrice also noticed how strict he looked, so she and Nate returned to sit and left Axle alone in the corner. The atmosphere of the room changed from Awkward to Silent and spooky.
“Is everyone here in the room already?” Isaac, the Alpha of Montress, asked and looked at everyone; his eyes suddenly landed on Beatrice, who was feeling nervous now.
“You’re new in my eye. Who are you?” Isaac asked as he scanned Beatrice’s appearance.
“She’s the new Alpha of the Vougch Clan, Beatrice Vougch,” Athena said, so Isaac nodded.
“I see. Welcome to the organization. I hope you get along with these Alpha in front of you.” Isaac said and gave a signal to his secretary.
Beatrice feels blessed as Isaac didn’t say or ask anything about her, unlike what happened earlier.
“I called you all as I have a significant announcement.” He said, and his secretary gave one piece of paper to each Alpha.
When Beatrice had the paper already, she frowned and looked back to Isaac.
“A clan war?” Donna asked as everyone was now looking at Isaac, who took a deep breath before he sat in his chair.
Isaac is the president of their organization, as he and his clan are known as the most influential, uncontrollable, and powerful dynasty in their city.
“What do you mean by this?” Beatrice asked as she couldn’t expect this to be the first news she would receive as a first-timer in the organization.
“The Modolovo Organization was trying to frame us up about having the most significant person in their organization,” Isaac said, so everyone in the room suddenly frowned, knowing they didn’t do anything in another organization.
“If anyone or someone did something in another organization, speak up now, as I don’t want to make this problem big,” Isaac said, using his authoritative voice.
Everyone looked at each other, and no one tried to talk as they were afraid of what would happen if they spoke, except Nate, who raised his arms, so everyone at the table turned to look at him.
“Nate?”
“I just wanted to ask Craig what he did back then before this mess?” Nate asked, so everyone turned to look at Craig, who had a frown on his forehead and laughed terribly.
“Me? I was in my building the whole month managing my business transaction.” Craig asked.
“Why did you ask that, Nate?” Isaac asked, so Nate turned to look at him.
“I feel that he’s the one who started the faus as that is his nature already,” Nate said frankly, so Craig laughed and clapped his hands.
“Really? You’re pointing me now like I did something to bring a mess in our organization.” Craig said, unbelievable at what he heard from Nate.
“Yes. because you always start fights,” Nate said.
“Well, I will ask you back, Nate; what did you do back then when we called a meeting, and you didn’t attend?” Craig asked, so Nate suddenly stopped for a moment and saw Beatrice in his peripheral vision, and it turned to look at him.
“Now you can’t answer my simple question, huh? Why don’t you just admit that you’re the one who started this mess?” Craig said, so Nate sighed and looked at Isaac, who was now looking at him.
“You know what already happened to me that time, right,” Nate asked Isaac so Isaac looked at Beatrice, sitting next to Nate, and nodded, making Craig frown.
“What’s with the nodd?” Craig asked Isaac, but it didn’t answer him.
“In this case, no one with us really does something from other organizations. I think someone from them is toying with them and uses our name to cover his doings.” Isaac said and signaled his secretary to make him coffee.
“Do they tell what name of the person they’re looking for?” Marcos asked, but Isaac just shook his head.
“No, they didn’t let me know that person’s name, so we’re now facing a tough situation here as our organization name is all over the news page of their papers,” Isaac said, and his secretary put his coffee in front of him.
“What will happen now?” Athena asked.
“After 3 weeks, they will be in our place to surround us and kill us, though their leader also informed me that they could kill us even though we’re not in this place,” Isaac said, so Beatrice suddenly felt nervous as her hand started shaking under the table.
Sitting next to her, Nate noticed that, so he touched her hand and comforted her without even looking at her. Beatrice looked at him, shocked by what he did, but she just let him do that as she felt comfort after he held her hand.
“And you just let them scare us?” Craig asked, so Isaac leaned on his table and drank his coffee before he answered Craig.
“If that’s what you going to think, then go. As a president of this organization, Nate knows how I protect each of you,” Isaac said, so Craig and Athena turned to look at Nate’s attention.
“Are you gonna let the clan war happen?” Marcos asked.
Isaac fell silent for a second as he thought of an answer.
“If they can’t find the person they’re looking for before the given date, then we can’t do anything but fight back and protect ourselves from them,” Isaac said, so Craig laughed as if he heard a joke from Isaac.
“What a cowardly action.” He commented. Athena looked at him again and was about to stop him from talking, but she couldn’t do that anymore.
“Craig, watch your mouth,” Donna said, but Craig didn’t listen to her.
“I know you know we can do something to stop this mess, right?” Craig asked Isaac, but it didn’t answer him. “All you have to do is to use your mind to think of a way.” He added.
“What if we try to help them with what they’re looking for?” Everyone turned their heads in Beatrice’s direction after what she said.
“What do you mean?” Isaac said, so Beatrice turned to look at Nate before she answered his question.
