Beatrice and Nate both exited the room with Axle behind them. The other Alphas stay in the room as they still do not accept what Isaac said earlier. Beatrice decided to leave as she no longer wanted to see different Alpha’s faces. She’s so annoyed about what happened earlier that she doesn’t even think of experiencing that kind of treatment, though Beatrice has been with Darwin for many years, and she knows other Alpha who act precisely like Craig.
“Are you gonna go home now?” Beatrice turned to look at Nate, who was now looking at him; she just gave him a small smile and nodded.
“Would you mind if I accompany you?” Nate asked, so Beatrice shook her head to answer and looked to Axle.
“I’m with my Beta,” Beatrice said, so Nate turned to look to Axle, who was now opening the car door for Beatrice. Nate looks back to Beatrice and smiles.
“I see, take care,” Nate said. Beatrice nodded and was about to enter the car when she suddenly stopped and looked at Nate, who was watching her.
“Before I leave, I would like to personally say thank you for what you did back to that room earlier,” Beatrice said as she referred to how Nate stood for her earlier. Nate just smiles at her, and with that, Beatrice enters the car, and Axle closes it for her.
Axle turned to look at Nate and tapped his shoulder.
“Thank you for earlier,” Axle said, so Nate smiled at him.
“Always think of that. Your brother is always proud of you. I know that as I’m his best friend.” Nate said, making Axle smile and nod before entering the driver’s seat. Nate watched them as the car started to drive away from him before he decided to go to his car.
On the other hand, Eille was watching Nate from her car and was so mad seeing how Nate smiled at Beatrice earlier. She held the steering wheel so tight. Her phone suddenly rang, which made her look for it and saw that it was her Beta.
“What?” Eille asked immediately as she answered the call.
“Caliber is–”
“Just look after him as I am watching Nate now. Do what he wanted, follow what he said, do everything for him.” She said and hung the call as she didn’t cut her sight to Nate.
When Nate approached his car, just parked beside her, she immediately got out of her car and walked towards Nate.
Nate was stunned to see Eille as he didn’t expect her to be there.
“What are you–” Nate didn’t finish his words when Eille suddenly slapped him, making his blood boil.
“What the fuck is your problem?” Nate asked with his forehead frown.
“My problem is you, Nate. How dare you smile like that to Beatrice, huh? Is this place your new meeting place with her? Are you here to be with her again? Huh?!” Eille bursts out her anger at Nate, who is confused about what she said.
“What the heck is wrong with you, woman?” Nate asked and tried to calm himself down.
“Ask that to yourself. How dare you cheat behind my back?” Eille asked, so Nate suddenly laughed as he heard her words.
“Cheat? I’m not cheating on you, though, because we’re not in a relationship, so how can I cheat on you?” Nate asked, and his patience would soon be out because of Eille.
“Really? Nate, we’re living under the same roof. We have a child waiting for you at home, and now you’re gonna say we’re not in a relationship? How ridiculous you are?” Eille asked, so Nate looked up and closed his eyes to calm himself.
“Please give all the patience me to understand this crazy woman,” Nate said to himself and looked to Eille again.
“Let me be clear to you, Eille,” Nate said seriously. “Yes, we live under one roof, but it doesn’t mean we’re in a relationship. I know we do have a child, but it doesn’t mean that I get back to you as your lover. My concern is on the child; my focus and love will only be for that child, not yours. and lastly, you’re the ridiculous one here as you’re still assuming that we’re still together when I will never return to you again.” Nate said, which made Eille’s heartache.
“I can still do what I want because I don’t have any responsibility to you; I only have a responsibility to Caliber, not you, so don’t act like we’re still together and I cheat on you because there is no cheating in my actions,” Nate added that Eille slapped him again, which made Nate mad this time as he always gets slaps from her.
“How dare you say those words, Nate?” Eille asked, and her tears came out as she no longer held it.
“I thought we came back together because you’re so good to me, you’re treating me right again, and now that Beatrice is just back, everything seems to change again?” Eille asked. Nate looked at her and took a deep breath.
“I treat you good because of Caliber. I told you so many times that I would never come back to you again as I don’t love you anymore. Which of those words you can’t understand, huh?” Nate asked and looked in the other direction as he heard someone coming.
“You should go now as someone is coming. If someone sees you here, they probably get you and ask you questions as you’re not part of our organization.” Nate said to her, but Eille shook her head and smiled bitterly.
“I won’t, why would I? You don’t care about me anymore, right?” Eille asked, so Nate frowned because of her question.
“Then, I will let them see me and ask who I am to inform them and introduce myself as your woman, your wife,” Eille said with her playful, psychotic tone of voice so Nate just rolled his eyes and was about to grab her to drag her out from the building. Still, Craig and Athena are standing before them and looking at Eille.
“Who is she?” Athena asked as she examined Eille from head to toe.
Craig saw the mark on Eille’s wrist and looked at Eille and Nate.
“She’s from another organization. What is she doing here?” Craig asked as he thought of something.
“Nate is the one who’s behind all the mess from the two organizations.”
