Beatrice lit the candle beside her sister’s grave and stood up to look at the whole tombstone of her sister until she looked at Quiver’s monument. The pain in her chest suddenly increased while looking at Quiver’s tombstone.
Beatrice took a deep breath and calmed herself not to cry again. She looked at her sister’s grave again and smiled.
“How are you there?” She asked, knowing that no one would answer her. She used to talk with her sister’s tombstone whenever she visited Margarett.
“I hope you and Quiver found each other in heaven now.” She added and smiled. She looked down at her wedding ring that she was still wearing. She never removed that ring in her hands, not even a single second.
“I hope the both of you are happy now watching me here suffering my damn fucking life again.” She said and laughed as she looked at Quiver’s tombstone again.
“I hope the both of you continue the love story you had when you are still alive.” She added and smirked.
She never thought that this could happen to her, being alone again and visiting their graves.
“Can you please say to any angels there to take my life so I could see the both of you from there?” She said and laughed at her own jokes. Beatrice walks closer and sits down in the middle of two graves.
“I miss the both of you.” She whispered. The cold wind blew after she said those words. Beatrice looked up to the sky and watched the bird fly up there. She came to the memorial park around noon; she had no plans to be there, yet Beatrice had no choice as she also wanted to visit Quiver.
Beatrice looked at Quiver’s tombstone and smiled. “I always wear your shirt because your fragrance didn’t remove from your clothes.” She said and smiled. “I miss you.” She added and looked down.
“I just wished I could turn back when we were both happy celebrating our wedding anniversary.” She said and swallowed as she remembered how they celebrated their first wedding anniversary together.
Beatrice sat there for almost an hour, wasting all her time besides the grief of her twin until she decided to stand up and fix herself to go home.
“Beatrice?” She looked at the one who called her and was stunned to see Celestine standing before her.
After so many years of not seeing her, Celestine is so happy to see Beatrice now. But Beatrice was shocked seeing her now, knowing that she was here, probably Nate around.
“How are you?” Celestine asked and was about to hold her hands when Beatrice stepped backward to avoid her touch. Celestine noticed that that’s why she immediately put down her hand and smiled bitterly.
“What are you doing here?” Beatrice asked. Celestine looked at her again and smiled at her.
“I’m here to visit Quiver.” She answered Beatrice, so Beatrice briefly looked at Quiver’s tombstone and back at Celestine.
“Rayver told us today about what happened to him.” She said, walking closer to Quiver’s tomb to put down the flowers she had brought. “I’m sorry for your loss,” Celestine said, looking at Beatrice. There was a moment of silence that covered the two of them. “I know that you hurt a lot for losing him.” She added and smiled at Beatrice.
Beatrice just watched her and took a deep breath.
“Who’s with you today?” Beatrice asked, knowing that Nate was around where they were now.
“I’m with my son, and Rayver.”Celestine answered, so Beatrice nodded and got her things beside Margarett’s tombstone.
Celestine noticed the name written on the tombstone, so she took the opportunity to ask Beatrice about it.
“Is she your sister?” Celestine asked while looking at the name engraved on the tombstone. Beatrice suddenly stopped and looked at her sister’s name.
“Yeah.” She answered and looked at Celestine.
“I came here to visit them. It’s her death anniversary today.” Beatrice said so. Celestine was stunned and swallowed.
“I am sorry about that,” Celestine said.
“It’s okay. I already accepted the fact that she is no longer with me anymore.” Beatrice said and took a deep breath.
“She’s always with you, watching you from above,” Celestine said and smiled at Beatrice. A bitter smile formed on Beatrice’s lips, and they looked at the sky again.
“Naah, she is no longer with my side anymore. I’m all alone.” Beatrice said to her mind.
“Mom.” The both of them looked at the person who called Celestine. It’s Nate. Beatrice’s aura became dark when she saw Nate again.
Nate looked at Beatrice, and his heart raced so fast while looking at her beautiful, mature face. But his emotion didn’t change as he didn’t want to show Beatrice he was happy to see her again.
Nate suddenly remembers Quiver’s words to him.
“It’s nice to see you again,” Nate said while looking at Beatrice. Beatrice didn’t react to his words.
“I’m sorry for your loss,” Nate added. That’s why Beatrice’s heart ached as she heard those words.
“Thank you,” Beatrice said and looked away as she noticed how Nate looked at her. Nate was observing her as he observed that her eyes were swollen and her eyes were sad, but her aura remained dark.
“Quiver is in a good place now,” Nate said. Beatrice didn’t take her eyes on the tree as she avoided his sight.
“Yeah,” Beatrice said and took a deep breath. “I will… go now,” Beatrice added as she suddenly felt dizzy.
“Wait…” Nate stopped her, but Beatrice didn’t listen to him as she continued to walk away from them, but before she walked far from them, her body suddenly fell from the ground, and Nate.
“Oh my God!” Celestine hysterically said and walked closer to her son.
“What happened to her?” She asked while looking at Beatrice, who was unconscious.
“She’s hot. Let’s bring her to the doctor.” Nate said so. Celestine nodded and called Rayver to assist Nate.
