“Goodbye, take care,” Beatrice said and hugged Quiver one last time before she kissed him on his cheeks.
“Take care, too. Don’t do so many household chores. Also, don’t stress yourself.” Quiver said, so Beatrice smiled and nodded.
“Baby, take care of mom; be good to her,” Quiver said in her belly, which made Beatrice laugh.
“He will take care of me and hopefully not crave some weird pieces of stuff again,” Beatrice said, so Quiver laughed and kissed her one more time before he hugged her again.
“Don’t stress yourself, okay? All me if something happened,” Quiver said while hugging her.
“I will,” Beatrice answered.
“I love you,” Quiver whispered and kissed her lips again.
“I love you too, and you may now go Quiver. Your Beta is been waiting for you for an hour.” Beatrice said, so Quiver laughed and turned his head to the car to see his Beta waiting there.
“Take your time, Mr. Quiver!” They both laugh as his Beta says those words.
Quiver turned his head and looked at Beatrice again.
“I will go now,” Quiver said. Beatrice nodded while her smile never faded on her lips.
“Take care,” Beatrice said, so Quiver nodded, kissed her for the last time, and walked towards his car. Before he enters his car, he takes a look at Beatrice and gives her a flying kiss, which she acts like she catches and turns the kiss to him.
They both smiled, and Beatrice watched him enter his car and watched the vehicle drive away from her.
Beatrice turned back to walk back inside their house when she suddenly stopped as she saw a very familiar car parked not far away from their home.
Her forehead frowned the moment she saw Nate get out of that car.
“What is he doing here?” she asked herself and watched Nate walk closer to her.
When Nate is already in front of her, Beatrice’s heart suddenly beats fast again, so she keeps calm while looking at Nate.
“Hi…” Nate greeted her.
“What are you doing here?” Beatrice asked while her brows frowned-a smile from Nate’s lips formed.
“Visiting you, I just wanted to see you,” Nate said, which made Beatrice frown even more.
“I don’t need any visitors, though,” Beatrice said and was about to walk away from him when Nate grabbed her wrist. She felt some electricity flowing from Natr through her body. Her heart beat faster than before as Nate touched her skin again.
“Wait a second,” Nate said, so Beatrice turned her gaze at him and removed his hand from her wrist.
Nate laughs inside of his head as Beatrice removes his touch.
“What do you want?” Beatrice asked, more irritated as she looked at Nate.
“I told you I just came here to see and visit you,” Nate said, so Beatrice rolled her eyes.
“I told you that I don’t need any visitors,” Beatrice said sarcastically, so Nate laughed again.
“Can you just stop bothering me? I am not comfortable to see your face around me.” Beatrice said, so Nate pouted and acted like he was hurt by what she was told.
“Your words are like a knife. It hurts me.” Nate said, so Beatrice took a deep breath and looked at him thoughtfully.
“Look, Nate, stop fooling around. I am serious about what I’ve said.” Beatrice said, so Nate’s smile slowly faded.
“You’re getting on my nerves. Haven’t you stopped bothering me? I told you I never loved you last time, so what’s with the sudden visit, Nate? Are you really that pathetic?” Beatrice asked, trying to hurt him so Nate could stop bothering her.
She’s scared and afraid that Quiver might see them talking. She doesn’t want Quiver to think that she’s cheating on him. Beatrice doesn’t want Quiver to get jealous because of Nate.
“Sorry,” Nate said, so Beatrice suddenly stopped.
“I just wanted to see you, that’s all. It’s not in my intention to annoy you.” Nate said with his solemn voice.
Beatrice watched his reaction for a second and took a deep breath.
“Just leave me alone, Nate,” Beatrice said, so Nate looked at her and shook his head.
“No, I will not,” Nate said, so Beatrice frowned.
“I will not leave you until I don’t know the truth about who is the real father of the child you are bearing now,” Nate said in his brave voice, which made Beatrice laugh.
“Are you that dumb? I told you that Quiver is the child’s father inside my womb. Why don’t you accept it? That’s the fact, Nate.” Beatrice said.
Nate shook his head and laughed sarcastically.
“I know you’re hiding the truth so that I will dig it for myself,” Nate said, so Beatrice rolled her eyes.
“Fine, do whatever you want. I already tell the truth to you. You’re just wasting your time.” Beatrice said and turned her back to him again.
Once again, Beatrice is ready to leave Nate when Nate suddenly grabs her and hugs her, which causes Beatrice to be stunned and speechless.
“What-what are you doing?” Beatrice asked in shock and was about to push him away when Nate kissed her lips, making her knees weak, her heart beat faster, and her mind blank.
“What are you doing, Beatrice? Stopped him! Quiver might be back and saw you!” Beatrice said in her mind, but her body says very differently.
Beatrice wanted to push him away from her, but there was a part of her liking the scenario happening to them now.
“You are cheating on Quiver!” Beatrice immediately pushes Nate away from her and slaps him hard as she returns to her mind, knowing that what is happening now is cheating, and she doesn’t want to fool with Quiver. Beatrice doesn’t want to hurt Quiver as he is the only man who accepts and listens to her.
A tear formed in Beatrice’s eyes, knowing she had made a mistake to Quiver.
“How dare you do that in front of our house?!” Beatrice asked, and at the same time, her tears dropped as she didn’t know what to feel.
Nate looked at her and was about to approach her again when she moved backward, so Nate suddenly stopped, knowing that Beatrice was now mad at him.
“I’m… I’m sorry, I can’t stop myself…”
“Go away!” Beatrice said while crying as now, she felt confusion in her heart.
“Go away, Nate!” Beatrice yielded and wiped her tears.
“I don’t want to hurt Quiver, so stay away from me!” She added, stopping herself from crying again.
“I’m sorry, Beatrice…”
“Just go away, Nate…” Beatrice said and turned her back to him.
