“Clerophine!” Eille shouted from the outside of Clerophine’s office. Her voice thundered all over the floor, and Clerophine heard her say, making her stop and put down the wine glass she held. “What is this bitch want?” Clerophine asked as she stood up from her seat.
Her office door opened, and Eille stood there with her angry face. A smirk from Clerophine’s lips formed as she saw Eille.
“What do you want?” Clerophine asked. Her eyes landed on Nate, standing behind Eille, so her smirk faded as soon as she saw her brother.
“You’re with Nate. I wonder if something happened?” Clerophine asked, knowing her plan had already started.
“Yes, and you freaking witch did that, right?!” Eille asked as she entered her offer. A smile of sarcasm formed on Clerophine’s lips while looking at Eille, who turned red because of her anger. “Did what?” Clerophine asked and looked at Nate for a second before she turned her gaze to
Eille.
“Stop pretending, Clerophine. You know what I am talking about, and Nate told me you are the only one except for him who knew about those files.” Eille said that made Clerophine stop for a second.
“What do you mean?” Clerophine asked while her forehead was frowning.
“The important files about the L’una Muanavara,” Nate said, stopping Clerophine.
“L’una Muanavara? but what I put on my desk is Devan Le Munlaluna…” Clerophine said in her mind while looking at her brother.
“I don’t know what you are talking about, Nate,” Clerophine said, looking at her table. From there, she saw the Devan Le Mulaluna file hidden from another file.
Her nerves boil as she remembers Huissen leaving her alone the last time they had sex because she moaned the wrong name.
“That fucking bastard did this on purpose! How there he?!” Clerophine said in her mind and looked at Eille again.
“Oh, really, Clerophine? Stop pretending because you put that file on my desk so Nate will get mad at me and remove me from my position.” Eille said Clerophine’s blood boils, knowing that Eille was right. But she must act like she didn’t know about the file, or Nate will know about her plan.
“Of course not. Why would I even do that?” Clerophine asked, pretending that she didn’t know about that file.
Well, in this case, Clerophine knows that at any moment, Nate will surely know about her plan for Eille, but she needs to keep her calm so she can pass this drama created by Huissen.
“Yes, I am mad because Nate replaced me with you, but I won’t do such drama to get back to my position,” Clerophine said. Eille laughs. She does not believe her. Eille knows the devil she is,
and she also knows that she can do such a thing. She did kill their father, though.
“I do not believe in you. I know how demonic you’re, Clerophine.” Eille said that made Clerophine nervous.
When Eille is mad, she can’t control her mouth as she says whatever Eille wants. She’s the type of woman who can manipulate shit if someone pulls the trigger on her.
“Oh yes, you sure didn’t believe me because you wanted to cover your crime using my name and feelings towards you.” Clerophine acted, and a smirk on Eille’s lips formed as if she were mad. “Really?” Eille asked. At this moment, Clerophine is nervous, for she knows that Eille might tell Nate about what she did to her father.
“I need to do something to lower her madness. She can’t say something about Dad’s death as
Nate is here with us.” Clerophine said in her mind, took a deep breath, and calmed herself. Even thinking this was not her nature, she needed to calm down and apologize to Eille, or her plan
would be ruined.
“Look, I am sorry,” Clerophine said, which Eille stunned for a second.
“I don’t know what you are talking about with that file. yes, I know that file, but I never put that on your table to make a fuss with you.” Clerophine said, so Eille swallowed as she heard her saying sorry.
“She might just be acting. Don’t believe her angelic face, Eille. She’s an enemy.” Eille said to herself, knowing that Clerophine was not on her side.
“Really? I don’t believe in you.” Eille said and laughed slightly.
“Perhaps Nate needs to know the truth for her to go as one of those people who hate me for Nate,” Eille said in her mind with a smirk on her lips.
“You even killed your dad, so why would I believe in you?” Eille added that it stunned Nate for a second, and Clerophine’s heartbeat was beating fast, knowing that Eille was telling her dark secret.
“What are you talking about?” Nate asked, looking at Eille, who was looking at Clerophine. “What the fuck are you saying, Eille?” Clerophine acted like she was shocked and the victim right now.
“We’re talking about the file, though you putting my name in a situation I don’t know? Are you nuts?” Clerophine added.
Nate faces Eille, who has a severe aura this time. “What are you saying about Dad’s death?” Nate asked.
Clerophine swallowed, walked closer to Eille, and slapped her.
“Don’t you fucking dare put a crime on my name? Bitch.” Clerophine said. Nate pushed Clerophine away from Eille and looked at Eille again.
“Tell me what you are talking about,” Nate said. Eille looks bad to Clerophine, who looks at her severely and looks at Nate.
“The day before your father died, she went to your house to scold Beatrice and give some information about her to you, but your dad went there and sided with Beatrice,” Eille said and looked at Clerophine.
“She was so mad and told me she would kill your dad and frame up Beatrice,” Eille said while looking at Clerophine.
“That’s not true! You’re lying!” Clerophine said and was about to scold Eille when Nate looked at her.
“Did you do that?” Nate asked Clerophine.
“Of course not! Why would I even do that?” Clerophine said and looked at Eille. “She’s lying because she wanted to destroy my name and reputation,” Clerophine added.
Nate looked at Eille once again.
“What is your proof?” Nate asked, which made Eille stop. She didn’t record their conversation that time, but she is pretty sure about what she heard.
“I-I didn’t-”
“She’s telling the truth, Mr Nate.” They all turn to look at the speaker. It was Rayver, who was holding an envelope and just entered the room.
“Clerophine killed your dad and set up Beatrice because she doesn’t like Beatrice. I’m holding the evidence to support my and Eille’s statements.” Rayver said that made Clerophine stunned in her place.
