The Killer

Because of Clerophine’s scream, some guest near the room turned their head to the room where they were. Beatrice saw that Clerophine’s expression was shocked by what she was seeing now. That’s why she walked backward to distance herself from the table where the knife was on her back, which caused her to touch the blade accidentally.
“You killed my dad?!” Clerophine asked. That’s why Beatrice looked at Gastov’s body for a second and then at Clerophine again.
“No, I didn’t do that!” Beatrice said, and to be honest, what she feels right now is entirely nervous as she knows that Clerophine might tell everyone that she’s the one who killed Gastov.
“You didn’t, but you’re alone with Dad’s body!” Clerophine shouted in anger as she was looking at Beatrice. Beatrice shook her head and was about to go near Clerophine when Clerophine pushed her away, which caused her to sit on the floor.
“Clerophine, please, what you are thinking is not true,” Beatrice said as she looked at Clerophine.
Clerophine smirked in her mind, knowing that her plan was adequate.
“Not true? You’re a killer, and you even attempted to kill my brother, and now you’re telling me that you’re not the one who did this to Dad?” Clerophine asked, which made Beatrice more nervous as she knew where this would end.
“Please listen to me. I swear I didn’t do this, and I can’t do this to Papa.” Beatrice said, which made Clerophine nervous as she called her dad ‘papa.’
“Don’t call him ‘papa,’ you psycho killer! Everyone needs to know about this.” Clerophine said and turned her back to Beatrice. Beatrice tried to stop her, but as soon as Clerophine turned her back from Beatrice, Nate was in the door’s room looking at his lifeless father without emotion.
Beatrice saw Nate’s aura, and she knew that Nate was mad. Some guests are trying to get in from the back of Nate, but Quiver stops them, knowing that Nate might get angry if everyone saw his dad lifeless.
Celestine, on the other hand, was crying as she saw her husband not breathing. Nate and his mother were in pain, and Beatrice knew that. She also knew they had already heard the conversation between Clerophine and her.
Beatrice felt so uncomfortable by how some guests looked at her. She knew they were now judging her in their minds since she was the one who saw the incident.
“I swear I didn’t do that,” Beatrice said and looked at Nate, who just walked before her to go to his lifeless father.
Beatrice watched Nate hold his father’s body until the tears in his eyes fell. Beatrice was about to go near Nate when Celestine grabbed her and slapped her face hard, making her stop as she knew she would become the suspect in this situation.
“You fucking killed my husband!” Celestine said and slapped her again, which made Beatrice’s tears form in her eyes, and She was not hurt by how Celestine hit her. She was hurt by how they judged her, saying that she was the one who killed Gastov.
“I didn’t kill him!” Beatrice shouted, which made Celestine stop and look at her.
“Please believe me because I swear I wouldn’t do that to Papa.”
“You have no right to call my husband ‘papa’ you psycho killer!” Celestine said, slapping Beatrice again.
Beatrice wanted to defend herself, but she didn’t; she didn’t have enough energy to protect herself as no one believed in her, making her feel more guilty like Nate just walked towards her without saying anything.
“Please believe in me,” Beatrice whispered, and her tears fell in her eyes while looking at Nate, who is now hugging her dead father.
“Who would believe in you? When was the very first place you attempted to kill Nate?” Clerophine asked, which made some guests gossip while looking at Beatrice
Beatrice shook her head while looking at Clerophine.
“I swear, I just came here because a guy told me to go-”
“Stop defending yourself, killer, and we won’t believe in you!” One of Gastov’s friends yelled, which made Beatrice look at the door where some of the guests were, followed by another one, which made the room loud as they cried humiliating words to Beatrice.
Beatrice never expected that this would happen. A minute ago, they were all having fun, and she was still talking to Quiver and Nate, and now this had happened as she just wanted to know what Gastov would say to her.
Beatrice only wanted to become closer to Nate’s parents as she was interested in being part of their family, but now, this happens.
“Nate.. please believe me,” Beatrice said, hoping that Nate would believe her because she knew he would believe her no matter what.
A few minutes before Nate responded, Nate didn’t look at her, and Beatrice knew that even Nate didn’t tell her she knew that he felt unreal now.
“Nate, please..” Beatrice whispered. This time, Nate looked at her, but he didn’t say anything-just a cold aura looking at her.
“Call the ambulance Now,” Nate said while looking at Beatrice.
At that time, Beatrice knows what that looks like Nate means; her heart suddenly aches as she looks at Nate, who has a cold aura.
Beatrice knew that his eyes would never lie, and what Beatrice saw was the side of Nate that didn’t believe her.
And that makes her heart beat fast as she knows those eyes.
“Nate didn’t believe me,” Beatrice said to herself while looking at him.
At this point, Beatrice thinks that her sister Margarett is on her side now so that someone would believe her and defend her.
At this time, Beatrice knew that she needed to face Nate’s other side, which Nate didn’t let her see.
“Nate, please, listen to me,” Beatrice said as Nate stood in her place and some ambulance members were getting his dad’s body.
Nate didn’t look at her, so Beatrice grabbed Nate’s hand, which made Nate aggressively push her away. Quiver saw that, so she went to Beatrice’s side to support her.
“Hey! Don’t hurt her. She’s a woman!” Quiver said, but Nate didn’t give her any attention.
Nate just looked at Beatrice before he walked away with the ambulance crew.
