Clone’s POV
“Hi Alpha. Good day.” I suddenly say, and they all stop marching. Jude looks back, and stares at me.
“Who the hell are you?” He asks, and tries to come near me but his closest Beta blocks his way.
“She’s a rogue. Hold her down.” Another member says but I nod in disagreement.
“I’m not a rogue. Rather, I came here to announce to you that rogues are following you behind, and if I’m talking…” I speak up but Jude cuts in.
“When did we employ you to help us monitor rogues?” He asks, angrily. “I smell rats. Lucas, tie her up.”
“No, don’t!” I yell at them and they shudder till their toes connect and make them fall to the ground.
“I’m only after your protection, Alpha. Is this the way Alpha behaves?” I ask him, looking at him downwards. A whole Alpha on the ground. Now, this is me. I was removed out of the real Rose by Ben, that means I’m not only a clone of Rose, I also have a tint of Ben’s spirit in me. Ben deliberately did this to make the search for Sophia easier.
“Just tell me what you want, and stop pretending.” Jude stands up, and dusts his shirt.
“I am not pretending.” I say. “There’s an object over there. Look!” Since they are all staring at the object, I quickly branch through a different direction and there I summon Spark. Spark is the vampire Ben put in me to enable me shift and mind link him.
“Spark, you’re needed.” I stifle a mutter.
“Just leave me alone.” Spark responds.
“Please, I need you right now. Help me.” I beg for his pardon, and thank goodness he yields to my plea for succour. Then I see Spark approaching with all its strength, Wolves or Vampires don’t live inside clones, they only come and go. When you need them, you just summon them. I take a glance at Jude and his members, they are almost leaving.
“Do quick, Spark!” I yell at him, and he overpowers me as my neck wrecks and my veins pop out, noiselessly. Now, I can mind link Ben.
“Hi Ben.” I call out to him, softly. But I get no response.
“Hey, Ben!” I yell at him through Spark. “Respond!” I think wolverine and vampiric lifestyle require violence.
“What’s wrong? Not gotten the map yet?”
“Hey, not yet. I need you to come right away!” I yell at him, and I notice that Spark’s energy is waning, I won’t be able to use him until the next six hours.
“Why? What’s wrong?” He replies hastily. “Location?”
“Just come. You’re related to Spark! Come through your thought! Make sure you are in your vampire form, you can also come with Rose!”
“What’s the aim?” He says, flatly. No, maybe not flatly, maybe because Spark’s energy is almost gone.
“Appear as a rogue. We need to fight Jude and take the map.” I splutter, and Spark gets out of me. It rushes out of me like whirlwind and with a loud noise enough to blare a whole country.
“Alpha Jude, may we shift?” I hear some voices.
“Take the master to the packhouse. Immediately!” One of them orders but it seems Jude isn’t responsive.
“What’s wrong, master?” I glance at them and I see Jude lying flatly on the ground, throwing his head at all corners.
“This is surprising, your vampire isn’t coming out?” Another asks and i smirk. Even if it’s to come out, at least not now and this will surely buy me time to get Rose and Ben here. Suddenly, an object starts to crawl on the ground, two, three! Then I see the vampire and my mind connects immediately. My eyes turn dark green but Ben detaches me from his connection to make the plan work. My plan is to make Ben and Sophia act as a rogue and to scare other pack members. If two wizards or witches are available for a fight, their first sight make a other people go weak.
“These are the rogues I’m talking about? How am I gonna fight them?” My lips shiver and my voice quiver as I clutch onto Jude.
“Alpha Jude is not well.” One of them tells me.
“Hurry, carry him up.” I tell them. They do as quick as possible but Ben comes near them and punches them. They all start to shift and the snapping sound of bones blare this arena as Ben increases the agility of his vampire. Rose orders both her wolf and her vampire too.
“Take Jude up. This is gonna be hot.” I tell them, and two others who didn’t shift help Jude up I clutch Jude onto my back and I order the two members to guide me. Then we march to Jude’s pent house. The pack house is near, I can see fields and different types of houses in one building encamped around by fences. Not just fences, the fences are composed of Vampire’s agreement with White Wolves. White Wolves are responsible for scaring or shouting people to death and for defending vampires or elves or wizards or witches but not werewolves. That is to say, a Werewolf cannot order a white wolf.
“Are we there yet?” I ask one of them and he nods.
“Where is the place?” I ask again, and he asks his second.
“Romeo, here, right?” He asks and Romeo nods.
“What’s your name?” I ask him.
“Oh, I’m Mike.” He smiles widely.
“Let’s get inside. Shall we?” I smirk.
“Yes, we shall. Thank you so much for saving our master.” He says, and they both shift and let me in.
I enter Jude’s personal room and I lay him in bed.
“Mike?” I call one of them and I can tell that they are at the doorpost maybe about to ring the door bell or just staying there to eavesdrop.
“Yes, ma’am?” They bothsl say, and jerk inside.
“Can I get the map?” I ask.
“What map?” They stare at each other. “Map, how?”
“The Map, the map!” I yell at them. “We need to track down the rogues so as to save other members!”
“But they won’t get hurt.” They reply rather softly.
“At least, bring it! We need it! Your master is dying!” I yell at them but they only chuckle softly.
“Is this a smiling situation?!” I bark at them and stand up to give them slaps on their chins and as I raise my hand to do so, Jude holds it from behind.
“Don’t.” He says and i sigh.
“I left the map right there. Where we left. Where you rescued me.” He says, trying to reregister the scene in his memory.
“Just tell other pack members to bring it along while coming.” He says.
“No.” I reply.
“Why?” Mike asks.
“There’s no way to get it then. Should the rogues escape with it, it will be impossible for our Alpha to get his mate.” Romeo adds and Jude rolls his eyes at him. That is to say, “who told you to disclose the secret.” Romeo slaps his chin with his palms and shushes himself.
“Just mind link other pack members not to forget it.” Jude says again.
I stand up to find a suitable place immediately to summon Spark so as to mind link Ben to pick up the map instead of the other pack members.
“Where are you going to?” They all ask, amazed and confused.
“I’ll be right back.” I tell them, and jerk the door open.
“Where is the most suitable place to shift?”
