Orion did not follow along.
He had his dignity too.
That’s what Luna said.
So he didn’t want to act desperate.
What was he still holding onto?
After all, she had a new life now!
His gaze lingered on Luna and Tyler holding hands.
He suddenly chuckled to himself.
Maybe, his presence here today was just a joke to them?
He took a step, walked out of the hotel, got into his car, and drove away.
Since she was happy now, he shouldn’t disturb her anymore.
Blessing her would be a way of atonement.
…
Freya and Luna met at home.
Linda made flower tea.
Kai was engrossed in his Transformers outside.
Morton was asleep, so the house was quiet.
Luna was direct, “How are things going for you?”
Freya didn’t ask about Elijah.
But judging from how late he came back last night, he must be dealing with it.
“It should be soon!”
Freya looked at Luna and asked, “Are you in a hurry to leave?”
Luna replied, “Not really, I want to wait for your matter to be completely resolved before I go, otherwise, I won’t be at ease.”
Elowen brought cut fruit over and placed it in front of Luna, “Pregnant women should eat more fruit, it’s good for the baby’s skin.”
Luna smiled and nodded, “Okay.”
Elowen held her hand, “It’s great, you’re married now and having a child too.”
Luna smiled.
Elowen turned to Tyler, “Luna is a good girl, you must treat her well. If you dare to bully her, I’ll be the first to come after you. Don’t underestimate her just because she doesn’t have a mother, her father is irresponsible, and her maternal family looks down on her. Freya and I are her maternal family, she’s not alone.”
Tyler understood why Luna came back to help Freya even though she was pregnant.
Their relationship was indeed unique.
He felt relieved that Luna had such friends.
He joked, “Aunt, rest assured. If I bully her, you can come and beat me up, I won’t fight back.”
Elowen said, “I’ll remember your words.”
Luna felt a tinge of sadness, although it was a happy occasion, she felt like crying.
She tried to suppress it and forced a smile.
Elowen patted her head, “You two talk.”
She walked into the room.
Morton woke up.
Now even Morton didn’t like staying indoors all the time.
Elowen fed him some milk formula, then put him in a stroller and took him outside to play.
Linda followed along.
Tyler asked, “Both of them are boys?”
Freya nodded, “Yes.”
“I actually prefer daughters. If Luna has a daughter, I’ll be happy.”
In the midst of conversation, he held Luna’s hand.
Freya saw this and chuckled, “Why do men always prefer daughters?”
Elijah also said he hoped for a daughter.
But now he didn’t have that hope anymore.
But Tyler could.
He reached out to touch Luna’s belly, “If this bump is a girl, she can be my daughter-in-law.”
Luna patted her hand, “Your son is still young, and you’re already looking for a daughter-in-law? Do you really want to be a mother-in-law?”
Freya shrugged, “I can’t help it, I have too many sons.”
“You only have two, that’s not many. Four or five would be considered many.”
“I can’t have more, you have them!” Freya turned to Tyler, “You can have more.”
Tyler just smiled, “I’ll listen to Luna.”
“Oh, you.” Freya got a mouthful of dog food.
Ding-dong-
The doorbell suddenly rang.
Elowen and Linda weren’t home, so she got up to answer the door.
The door opened, and standing at the doorstep was her!
