She glanced at the waiter, her voice sharp, “We don’t need breakfast, take it away!”
Tyler looked at her.
She didn’t usually get angry easily.
What could be wrong?
But he didn’t ask immediately.
Instead, he told the waiter, “We’re not used to the breakfast here, take it away!”
The waiter hesitated, “This is not the hotel’s breakfast; it’s from a gentleman who asked us to deliver it.”
Tyler immediately understood why Luna was upset.
These things were probably sent by the man they encountered at the hotel that day.
He said, “Leave it; you can leave now!”
Luna stared at him puzzled, “Do you know who sent these? And you want to keep them?”
Tyler replied, “I know.”
Luna was even more puzzled, “You know, and yet…”
Tyler didn’t explain right away.
Instead, he sent the waiter away and closed the door.
He walked over to Luna, helped her sit on the sofa, and patiently said, “Throwing these out, how does it change anything?”
Tyler understood everything in his heart, “These are probably things you used to love eating before, right? He sent them just to provoke me. These are all things I didn’t know about, but so what? It’s all in the past; people’s tastes change, feelings change with time, just like you and me now.”
Luna looked at him.
“If you’ve given up and no longer have any illusions, just face it openly.” Tyler held her hand, “Actually, I don’t want him to still affect your emotions. Do you understand what I mean?”
Luna remained silent for a while.
Right.
If she truly didn’t care anymore.
Then why get upset over such a thing and let her emotions fluctuate?
He was no longer the one who caused her mood swings.
She leaned on Tyler’s shoulder.
“Thank you.”
Instead of blaming her for such matters, he comforted and guided her.
She suddenly felt enlightened.
“Are you hungry?” Tyler asked, “Since it’s still warm, want to eat a little?”
Luna said, “These were my favorites in college, but now, I don’t really like them that much anymore!”
Perhaps because of the pregnancy.
Her tastes had changed.
Some pregnant women liked plain foods.
But she could handle sour and spicy dishes.
Although the doctor advised her not to eat too spicy, saying the baby might have red skin after birth.
She was more restrained in her diet.
Only occasionally indulging.
“These are good, light.” Tyler said.
Luna rolled her eyes, “Tonight, let’s go eat hot and sour noodles!”
Tyler, “…”
“The due date is getting closer, so it’s the last time we can eat it.”
Luna nodded repeatedly, “Yes, let’s just have it once.”
They had a simple breakfast, and Luna called Freya.
Making plans to meet up.
They got ready and left.
When they got off the elevator, they ran into Orion in the hotel lobby.
It didn’t seem like a coincidence.
Orion said, “What a coincidence.”
Luna grabbed Tyler’s hand, smiling, “Such a coincidence.”
Although she knew it wasn’t really a coincidence, she didn’t expose it.
She no longer let this man affect her emotions, facing him calmly and serenely, “Freya and I are meeting up, do you want to join us?”
Orion didn’t expect her to invite him voluntarily.
He nodded, “I won’t be in the way, will I?”
Luna said, “If you thought you’d be in the way, you wouldn’t be here, right? By the way, the breakfast was delicious today, my husband liked it too. If you’re free, you can continue to send them tomorrow.”
With that, she held Tyler’s hand and walked out.
Orion stood motionless in his place!
