She set down her water glass and walked over, taking the dirty clothes from his hands and putting them in a bag. She looked up at him, “Elijah, why are you so sensitive?”

As they stepped out of the elevator, Freya saw the receptionist and said to Elijah, “The dress I’m wearing, she lent it to me. People here are so helpful.”
Elijah looked up at the receptionist.
She smiled and greeted them, “Mr. Silverton, ma’am.”
“I’ll tell the finance department to give you a raise.” Elijah said.
The receptionist was first surprised, but after digesting it, she immediately expressed her gratitude, “Thank you, Mr. Silverton.”
“If you want to thank someone, thank my wife. Because of you, she’s in a good mood.” Elijah said.
The receptionist blushed.
Freya smiled at her, “Keep up the good work.”
“I will.” The receptionist said firmly.
As they walked out of the building, Elijah said, “You really have the demeanor of a lady boss now, encouraging the staff to work well.”
Freya nudged him with her elbow, “Teasing me, is that fun?”
Elijah said, “It is.”
Freya’s car was just in front, and she said, “Just drop me off here.”
“I’ll take you home.”
Freya shook her head, “No need, I was just kidding earlier, you go about your business, go home earlier.”
“Okay.”
After Elijah sent her off and she waved him goodbye, he went back to the office.
She told Eagle, “Don’t go home, go to the hospital.”
Eagle frowned, “If that clingy spirit sees you at the hospital, won’t it act like a mad dog and keep bothering you?”
“I’m not going to that hospital.”
“Then where are you going?”
“Anywhere, see if there’s another hospital nearby.” Freya looked exhausted and said in a low voice, leaning back.
