Evan chuckled, “Just joking with you.”
Sacha stood up, “You go ahead and enjoy your meal.”
Evan grabbed her, “Are you really mad? Come on, tease me back.”
Sacha stared at him, “How did you change so much? I almost don’t recognize you.”
The old him was not like this at all!
How did he manage to change his personality so quickly?
“I just wanted to make you happy,” Evan urged her to sit down. “Alright, alright, I won’t tease you anymore. You hold onto this piece of beef and tease me.”
Sacha chuckled in annoyance.
“I don’t want it, you’re so childish to death.”
Evan looked at her smiling face, with a slight grin on his lips.
After finishing their meal, they went to watch an afternoon movie.
There weren’t many people at the cinema in the afternoon.
It felt like a private screening, just the two of them in the entire hall.
They sat close together, Evan holding her close, “Rest your head on my shoulder.”
Sacha leaned against him like a little bird.
In a soft voice, she said, “You never used to be like this.”
“How was I?” Evan asked, looking down at her.
“Never mind,” Sacha replied, “Let’s watch the movie. This is the first time you’ve accompanied me like this. You always used to say you were too busy, busy like a dog every day.”
Evan paused.
He sensed Sacha’s relaxed mood.
He smiled.
He felt that everything he did was worth it.
“In the future, I won’t be like a dog, I’ll be more like a human, and I’ll make time to see you often.”
Sacha was touched.
She snuggled into his arms, swallowing the sourness that inexplicably rose up. With a smile, she said, “Okay.”
They watched a romantic comedy.
There were laughter and love.
With Evan’s company, Sacha’s mood gradually improved.
The next day when Evan left.
She felt extremely reluctant in her heart.
But she didn’t show it on the surface.
“I’ll come over whenever I have time,” Evan said.
She smiled and replied, “Okay.”
But as she watched the plane take off, her eyes turned red.

HY Research Center.
Freya was reviewing the records of the changes in the body after animals had their hearts implanted.
Everything was within the normal range.
Neo said, “Does this count as a success?”
Freya shook her head, “It’s only been half a month. It will take at least a month for the data to show no rejection before we can call it a success.”
“In any case, with Doctor Lee’s assistance, our research has accelerated towards success.”
Freya couldn’t deny this.
Their bottleneck had been broken by Doctor Lee, indicating that their hard work was about to bear fruit.
“I’m very happy!”
The voice sounded familiar.
Freya turned around to see the dean.
She was surprised, “How come you’re here?”
“I heard you’ve succeeded, so I came to see.” The dean’s mood was good, as he took a deep breath, “I’m so happy, I’m alive to see this successful day.”
Freya said, “You’ll live to be a hundred.”
“Only turtles live to a hundred, I won’t live that long.” The dean’s hearty laughter indicated his good mood.
The dean became more humorous.
Causing those present to laugh involuntarily.
“What are you looking at?” The dean looked at the records in Freya’s hands.
Freya could tell that the dean wanted to see, so she handed him the notebook.
Having his intention exposed, the dean wasn’t embarrassed and took the notebook with a smile, “Let me take a look then.”
He seemed satisfied with the content inside, nodding in approval.
Baa!
The sheep with an artificial heart implanted let out a bleat.
The dean said, “Let’s go take a look.”
Neo led the way.
Freya and the dean followed, “Thanks to Doctor Lee this time, otherwise we wouldn’t have progressed so quickly.”
“I’ve heard.” The dean patted her on the shoulder, “You’re doing a great job.”
Approaching the metal railing, the goat stood in the cage, its abdomen bound with a device the size of a small box. The data on it kept changing, but there were no major fluctuations.
All within the normal range, proving that it was good.
Excited, the dean suddenly straightened up and fell flat on his back!
