Evan looked at her and smiled, “I like it when you’re angry.”
Being angry shows that she cares about him.
She didn’t want any other woman to share his body.
Sacha lowered her head, inadvertently losing her voice, “You’re really annoying.”
Evan gently, tentatively reached out his arms to hug her.
This time, Sacha didn’t push him away. Instead, she grabbed his collar, trying to restrain the choked sobs that couldn’t be suppressed, “Can you please stop making things difficult for me.”
Her shoulders were slightly trembling.
Tears eventually began to fall.
She leaned against Evan’s chest, “I feel like I’m no longer worthy of being with you.”
Evan held her tightly, kissing her hair, her cheeks…
He whispered in Sacha’s ear, “Your first time belongs to me. What I possess is the purest part of you.”
“No, I’m not pure anymore…”
“Shh.”
Evan pressed his finger against her lips, “Those who have hurt you in the past, I’ve punished them. They will spend the rest of their days in prison. I’ve made arrangements for them to suffer in there.”
“But…”
“Do you really want to see me suffer because of you, just like them?”
Sacha looked up, her delicate, still beautiful face, with tears filling her eyes, “No, I don’t want that. I want you to be happy, I want you to be safe and sound.”
“I can only be happy when I’m with you. Do you know that?”
Evan gently kissed her forehead, “Trust me this one time, just this once.”
He closed his eyes and his lips tenderly moved down to kiss the tears at the corner of her eyes, “Don’t make my heart ache.”
Sacha hugged his neck tightly, buried her face in his neck, “I really like you, what should I do? If one of us has to be in pain, I’d rather it be me.”
Evan circled her slender waist, “Trust me, the darkness will pass. Our endpoint is a sunny, vibrant spring.”
“Can I be with you without thinking about anything, without any burdens?”
“You can,” Evan said hoarsely, “If I had given up on you, I wouldn’t be here.”
Sacha cried even harder.
Her suppressed, hoarse cries were so bitter, as if soaked in bitter bile.
She felt lonely, desperate.
In this moment, she relied on his embrace.
And found a bit of comfort.
What should she do? She liked this man so much, she wanted to be with him for the rest of her life!
The emotions pent up in her heart exploded in an instant!
She didn’t hold back anymore, laying on his chest, crying out loud.
She didn’t know how long had passed.
Her legs had gone numb.
Her eyes were swollen.
Her voice was hoarse.
She sniffed, “Is your hand still hurting?”
Evan nodded, “It is.”
He gazed deeply at Sacha, “If you want to leave me, it hurts even more.”
Sacha held his hand and looked at the teeth marks on the back of his hand.
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay.” Evan wiped away the tears on her face, “I have to go back tomorrow, there isn’t much time left here. Can you stay with me today?”
Sacha nodded, “Okay.”
“You haven’t had lunch, you must be hungry,” Sacha said, “Let’s go out for a meal.”
The food on the table had gone cold.
Evan agreed, “After we eat, will you come watch a movie with me?”
“Okay.”
And then the two went to the restaurant to eat.
Sacha finished her meal and watched Evan eat.
Evan cut a piece of steak, picked it up with a fork, and offered it to her.
Sacha felt a bit awkward and said, “I’ve already had lunch.”
Evan looked at her without saying a word, his hand not retreating.
His attitude was firm.
Sacha hesitated for a moment, lowered her head, and ate the steak he offered. Evan, however, pulled back his hand just as she was about to bite into the meat.
Leaving her to eat nothing.
She looked up.
And saw Evan teasingly smiling at her.
Blush.
Her face turned red!
“Evan, you’re crazy!”
