Today, Elijah received the message.
Xander found out Ronan’s whereabouts. So, he had to go, and there were also some work matters to take care of.
“I’m not sure how many days I’ll need, I’ll also go to Country M.”
“For work?” Freya asked.
Elijah pondered for two seconds. “Yes.”
He did not mention a word about Ronan.
Freya thought to herself, Elijah really was busy. No wonder Evan didn’t approach Elijah on his own. But no matter how busy work was, wasn’t there time to get married?

She took Elijah’s coat off, hung it up, and said, “I saw Sacha today.”

Freya looked at his expression and said, “She’s pregnant.”
Elijah looked up.
“She wants to get married, Evan said he wants to just sign the papers and not have a wedding for now, is the company really that busy?” she asked.
Elijah immediately understood what Freya meant.
“What do you want me to do?”
“To give Evan time to get married?” she quickly added, “I mean, if the company isn’t busy…”
“I got it, I’ll talk to him.”
“What do you think of this girl, Sacha?” Freya probed his attitude towards Sacha.
She wondered whether or not Elijah saw Sacha as a sister.
Elijah glanced lightly over, “What are you trying to say?”
“You mean, when they get married, we have to give a gift, right? Are we considering Evan’s side or Sacha’s side?”
Elijah went to Kai’s room, Freya said he was already asleep.
He stopped in his tracks. “You handle it, I’ll check on our son.”
After saying that, he still opened Kai’s door.
Freya smiled.
Although he didn’t say it, Elijah probably still liked having Sacha as a sister, right?

The next day, Freya arrived at the courtyard and saw that the office had been tidied up. All the files were labeled and neatly stacked on the table, making it easy for her to see.

After saying that, Neo walked out, muttering, “I could even skip the lunch, I got to do it well.”
Freya laughed.

It was time for the meeting.
