Elijah softly whispered in her ear, “It’s me.”
Freya turned around, patting his chest with a touch of sorrow, “You scared me.”
Elijah held her hands that were waving in the air, “I’ll be more careful next time.”
Freya relaxed a bit, her heart had been in her throat, thinking there was an intruder in the house.
With her emotions settled, she started to worry, “I wonder how Luna is doing, she’s all alone, where can she go to live?”
Elijah furrowed his brow slightly and asked, “Are you tired?”
Freya moved her neck a bit.
It had been a tiring day indeed.
It was already so late, she yawned, “I am quite tired.”
“So why do you still care so much?” Elijah asked.
It was only then that Freya realized, he wasn’t concerned about her.
He was blaming her for getting involved in others’ affairs.
She said, “They are not strangers, I can’t just stand by and do nothing…”
“Alright, let’s go to sleep.” Elijah embraced her.
She sighed, “I haven’t showered yet.”
“One day without a shower won’t hurt, just sleep for now.”
Freya lay down on the bed, squinting her eyes, “Then I’ll shower in the morning…”
As she spoke, she slowly closed her eyes, utterly exhausted.
It didn’t take long before she fell asleep.
Elijah tucked her into bed, holding her as she slept.
She shifted to a comfortable position and slept soundly.

Orion knew Luna had left, so he immediately went to look for her.
He searched all the places she might go to.
But he couldn’t find her.
She didn’t leave any clues or even say a word to him.
So resolutely, Luna went away.
Orion walked alone on the street, aimlessly.
Sometimes, he thought about the time when she lost her memory. Even if she bore a grudge against him, at least, he could still see her, still feel at ease, that too was a kind of happiness.
Now, he could only lament and blame himself in secret.
In the quiet night, under the cold moonlight, with the shadows of trees bleak, the streetlights dim, he walked with a slight cold wind, casting a long shadow.
He walked for a long time.
When it was just beginning to dawn, he returned home.
Debra was worried about him, about to send someone out to look for him.
Seeing him come back, she sighed in relief, “Where did you go?”
Seeing his desolate expression, she asked, “Luna didn’t want to come back with you?”
Orion didn’t want to talk, going upstairs by himself.
Debra said, “You don’t have the determination of a woman, she can leave you, why can’t you leave her?”
Orion stopped in his tracks, turning back to coldly gaze at his own mother.
Debra felt guilty being stared at, avoiding his gaze, and continued talking relentlessly, “I’m not wrong, you really are not as good as a woman?”
Orion took a deep breath.
“I will be busy in the future, I will find a place closer to the company to live.”
“No, that’s not possible,” Debra disagreed, “You both should live at home, at least I can keep an eye on Luna for you, so she won’t harm you behind your back…”
“She’s gone, gone for good, she won’t come back, you don’t need to worry anymore.”
After saying that, he fell quiet.
Debra was initially stunned, but soon a smile crept onto her face.
Luna had left? She wouldn’t come back anymore?
To confirm whether Luna had truly left, she sent someone to investigate if what Orion said was true.
Orion walked upstairs, his footsteps halting.
His gaze was fixed on the room where Luna lived.
Soon he withdrew his sight.
Turning around, he went back to his own room.

Freya arrived at work on time in the morning.
Having slept late the night before, she wasn’t feeling very energetic in the morning.
She mustered up some energy, climbed the stairs, and as she reached the door, suddenly, someone grabbed her by the clothes.
Then forcefully pulled her into a small alleyway!
She exclaimed, “Who are you?!”
