Chapter 514 Gentle Enough

Book:You Are My Mr Right Published:2024-6-4

“I owe you my life, so if you want to kill me, it’s my own fault. I can write you a guarantee, promising that if I die, it has nothing to do with you,” Orion said with a smile.
He completely disregarded Luna’s anger.
Luna snorted coldly, “Such hypocrisy.”
Orion didn’t care either. “Say whatever you want.”
Now, he seemed thick-skinned, not caring about Luna’s words or thoughts. Because he knew deep down he had already lost any positive impression in Luna’s heart. In this situation, if he only cared about his image in her eyes, he would lose her. This time, he wouldn’t lose Luna again. No matter what method he had to use, he would firmly hold onto her.
Looking at him, Luna felt utterly fed up. She walked out.
Orion followed her. “Where are you going?”
Luna looked at him. “I want to find a job.”
“I can give you money, or arrange a job for you in the company. How about being my personal secretary? Personal assistant?” he said with a smile.
He wasn’t joking.
He was serious.
He wouldn’t allow Luna to work outside.
Luna frowned tightly. She was speechless. Orion wanted to keep her imprisoned by his side at all times, which was simply unreasonable. She couldn’t compromise. Otherwise, Orion would definitely take advantage of her even more in the future.
“What if I insist on working?” Her attitude was extremely firm. And it was the kind that couldn’t be refused.
Orion paused for a moment. He didn’t dare to push too hard. “You can work…”
“I don’t want any job you offer. Otherwise, we might as well break up.” Luna declared.
Orion fell silent for a long time. “How do you plan to break up? You can disregard yourself, but what about the couple who saved your life? If you dare to die and do something harmful to yourself, I won’t let them off either…”
Luna was furious. She slapped him across the face. The imprint of her five fingers was clearly visible on Orion’s face.
“It doesn’t hurt, even if it did, I deserve it!” Said Orion. As he spoke, he reached out to hug Luna.
Luna felt that he was a pervert, a lunatic. She pushed him away. “Don’t touch me, it disgusts me.”
Orion could bear all her dissatisfaction, but her disgust pained him. He lowered his gaze slightly. “Do I disgust you that much?”
“Yes,” Luna said mercilessly.
Orion looked at her for two seconds, then turned and walked away.
Luna didn’t care. She wished he would leave quickly so she could have a bit of freedom.
Orion drove his car, not wanting to go to the company, but with nowhere else to go. After thinking for a while, he decided to seek solace from Evan.
But Evan didn’t have time for him.
“Are you so free? Don’t you have work to do at the company?” Evan asked.
“I’m annoyed,” Orion looked worn out.
Evan coldly dismissed him as he had to take care of Elijah at this moment.
“I feel like Luna really hates me,” Orion didn’t know what to do.
Neither being soft or being tough to her worked. It seemed that either way would only push her further away.
Did she really have no feelings for him anymore?
“If she hates you, then it’s for the best,” Evan said. “If she can still get along with you, either she’s insane or mentally unstable.”
Orion frowned. “Whose side are you on?”
Why wasn’t Evan defending him?
He came seeking comfort. Being insulted, now Orion felt even more miserable.
Evan said seriously, “You better leave right away. I’ve been gentle enough with you.”
Orion remained silent.
No, he couldn’t leave. He needed someone to talk to right now. Otherwise, he was afraid he would become depressed. So he grabbed Evan.
“Why are you so busy? Don’t you have any time? It’s not just you in the company. Keep me company and talk to me…” Orion insisted.
Unfortunately, their entire conversation was heard by someone standing at the corner. And that person looked at Orion with an icy gaze, then turned and walked away in large strides.
