Orion didn’t know when he arrived. At this moment, his face was cold and he warned, “Stay away from Luna from now on!”
Zane wiped the corner of his lips, a smirk playing on his face, “If you want me to stay away, then I’ll stay away? Do you think I’ll listen to you?”
Orion just gave him a deep look, a look full of meaning. His gaze shifted to Luna and he asked, “Will you come with me?”
Luna inexplicably couldn’t meet Orion’s eyes. Her gaze was unfocused.
“Luna,” Orion called her again.
Luna hesitated for a moment, but then walked towards him.
Zane stood by the side and mocked Orion, “Even before Luna lost her memory, she liked me. Even though she has lost her memory now, her subconscious feelings towards me haven’t completely disappeared. So you can’t stop us, we have a deep connection.”
Orion didn’t engage in a battle of words with him. Instead, he turned and walked towards the car. Luna also got in the car. Sitting inside, Luna cautiously glanced at him, “I was a bit confused just now, that’s why I didn’t push him away right away.”
Orion didn’t say anything. His mood was heavy because he had heard every conversation between Zane and Luna. He never expected that Luna would actually know about her mother’s actions against her. Before, he was unwilling to believe his mother and Freya’s suspicions about Luna. It seemed that the fire was not really an accident. Luna used to be a forensic doctor and has seen all kinds of crimes. Even if she had forgotten everything, if she wanted to commit a crime without leaving any traces, she would know more than an ordinary person.
That fire left no trace of human intervention, didn’t it?
After investigation, they could only see it was an accident.
The car drove home, and Debra had already prepared dinner, but they hadn’t eaten yet, waiting for Orion and Luna. When they entered, she greeted them with a smile, “Dinner is ready, wash your hands and let’s eat.”
Debra Russo was really kind now. Even though she had doubts in her heart, she could still pretend to be nonchalant.
“Aren’t you supposed to be in the hospital?” Orion asked.
“The doctor said I can recover at home. I don’t like the smell of disinfectant in the hospital, and since I’m in a wheelchair, I can’t touch the wound. Your injury hasn’t healed either, so be careful…”
Orion interrupted impatiently, “Hmm, if you want to stay at home, then stay.”
After saying that, Orion held Luna’s hand and went to the bathroom. He didn’t say a word all the way. Luna suspected that maybe he had heard what she and Zane said. But the moment he held her hand, she felt that he was still the same as before. So she thought that Orion’s mood was off probably because he saw Zane kissing her. Her anxious heart slowly calmed down.
They returned to the dining table, and Debra turned her wheelchair, “Orion, come inside with me, I have something to tell you.”
Orion didn’t get up immediately, but said, “If there’s something, just say it here.”
Debra pursed her lips awkwardly.
Luna glanced at her and nudged Orion with her elbow, “You should go, she must have something to tell you.”
Orion reluctantly got up.
Debra glanced at Luna, smiled, and said, “You go ahead and eat.”
Luna smiled back, “Okay.”
Both of them put on a show on their faces!
Inside the room, Debra closed the door and said seriously, “I have evidence that our house fire was not an accident, but arson. She wanted to kill you and me!”
