Freya spoke up, “Even if Zane didn’t push her, she was planning to jump off the building. I think someone might have been behind her.”

Elijah furrowed his brow. He did see the dead body, but with so many people crowding around and the gruesome sight, he didn’t recognize who it was. So, if Freya didn’t mention it, he wouldn’t have known it was Calista. He sent Thorne back to the Silverton family. Calista was released too. He thought that once Thorne was gone, that woman would keep a low profile. But bad people will always be bad people. They won’t stop just because you have a kind heart.
It was better off that Calista was dead because her death would save them from future troubles. Just that the price was a bit too high. They’d been preparing for this wedding for so long. It had already been postponed once.
