Chapter 479 A Bed-Sharing Relationship

Book:You Are My Mr Right Published:2024-6-4

When Freya saw Luna, she was genuinely startled, her face pale. Seeing Luna in such a state, Freya felt both guilty and remorseful. She couldn’t believe she had doubted her and thought that Luna wouldn’t be so frightened as to pass out.
“Are you feeling better now?” Freya asked gently. “You might not rest well in the hospital. Why don’t you come back with me and stay at my place for a few days? Orion might need a few more days to be discharged…”
“I’m fine, I won’t go,” Luna interrupted.
Freya could clearly sense her distance.
“Luna,” Freya held her hand. “We were really close friends. Don’t treat me like a stranger. We used to share a bed.”
Luna pursed her lips. “Is that so? I don’t remember.”
Freya wasn’t discouraged. She didn’t mind Luna’s indifference and smiled, “Yes.”
“You go back. I’ll go check on Orion.” Luna got off the hospital bed and walked away on her own.
Completely disregarding Freya.
Freya felt a sense of disappointment in her heart, but she didn’t mind. She thought Luna’s attitude towards her might be due to her memory loss. She just needed to accommodate her more.
Luna arrived at the hospital room and saw Orion examining his mother’s injuries. She watched quietly, her eyes filled with coldness. But when Orion turned around, she immediately put on a look of panic. The coldness in her eyes turned into fear.
“Is your mother okay?” she asked softly, with concern.
“Don’t worry, she’s fine. You should go rest.” Orion said.
Luna stood there without leaving. “We can’t live in the house anymore, right?”
Orion nodded. “I’ll arrange a new place as soon as possible.”
“How did the fire start?” she asked tentatively.
“We don’t know yet. They’re investigating it, and we’ll know soon.”
Luna nodded.
Orion approached her and gently caressed her cheek. “Feeling better now?”
Luna felt repulsed in her heart but reluctantly endured Orion’s touch. “I’m much better now.”
“It’s all my fault. I didn’t take care of you properly,” Orion blamed himself for what happened.
Luna raised an eyebrow slightly, thinking to herself, was he trying to act affectionate? If he truly loved her, how could he let her be harmed? How could he allow his mother in plotting against her? She didn’t believe in Orion’s goodness. Someone who had almost died once could not be easily hurt a second time. She would only bring them harm. Luna glanced at the wound on Orion’s arm, a faint hint of a smile appeared on her lips.
“Go back to the hospital room and rest,” Orion said, squeezing her shoulder.
Luna turned around quickly, her expression turning cold as her actions unfolded.
Freya stood not far away, clearly witnessing Luna’s changing facial expressions. Her heart skipped a beat. She had never seen Luna like this before, as if she was a different person. She wondered the reason for Luna’s change. Besides having the same face, their personalities were completely different.
After Luna left, Freya approached Orion.
“Why haven’t you left yet?” asked Orion.
“I’m leaving now, but before I go, I have something to say to you.”
“Go ahead.”
“Please pay more attention to Luna,” Freya said.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of her,” Orion misunderstood.
Freya wanted to explain, but the words stuck in her throat.
Talk is cheap.
“Once the investigation into the fire is concluded, let me know the results,” she said.
“Why do you care about that?” Orion smiled. “It’s not a big deal, probably just an accident. Don’t worry so much.”
“Just let me know.”
“Fine,” Orion didn’t say much more. If Freya wanted to know, he would tell her.
As Freya returned, she felt drowsy sitting in the car. She hadn’t slept all night, and now sleepiness was taking over. The car drove smoothly, and in a daze, she heard her phone ringing. She fumbled for her phone and answered the call.
