Adam Jackson instinctively took a step back. It was because the man standing at the entrance had a powerful aura that inexplicably overwhelmed him.
“Who are you looking for?” Adam asked.
Elijah didn’t pay him any attention. Instead, he stared at the name tag on his chest. The name “Adam Jackson” made his eyes darken.
Freya looked up. “Elijah?”
Adam asked, “Do you two know each other?”
Elijah took a big step forward, standing by the hospital bed, looking down at her. Though he clearly wanted to show concern, his words took a different turn. “Feeling happy, aren’t you?”
Freya ignored his snide remarks. She just felt that he had a mental problem, and it was a serious one. She smiled and said to Adam, “Let me introduce you. This is my husband.”
Adam smiled. “So this is the person you’re going to marry. Nice to meet you.” with that said, he extended his hand towards Elijah.
Elijah completely ignored it, pretending not to see.
Adam withdrew his hand that was hanging in mid-air, feeling annoyed. “I still have work to do. I won’t disturb your conversation.” After saying that, he walked out of the room.
Freya glared at Elijah. “What’s wrong with you?”
Elijah snorted, his dissatisfaction overflowing from his chest. “What’s wrong with me?”
“He tried to shake hands with you, and you didn’t even look at him. Considering he’s the doctor who operated on me, shouldn’t you be a bit more polite?”
“Be polite to him? If I knew it was him doing the surgery on you, I wouldn’t have let you do it here.” Elijah said with irritation.
Freya was shocked by Elijah’s words.
“Elijah, do you know him?”
Elijah replied coldly, “I don’t know him.”
“Then why did you say that if you knew it was him, you wouldn’t let me have the surgery here?”
“I saw his name in someone’s important belongings,” Elijah said, feeling annoyed. He checked her wound. “Does it hurt?”
Freya stared at him. “Elijah, I’m not feeling well. Please don’t make me mad.”
Elijah furrowed his brow. Was he the one who made her mad?
But considering Freya just had surgery, Elijah decided to be patient with her. He kindly covered her with a blanket and said, “Rest for a while. I’ll stay here with you.”
Freya closed her eyes.

Luna went back to the Russos’ house with Orion. When Debra Russo saw Luna, she was almost scared. Even though she had heard from Orion that Luna was not dead, but had lost her memory, seeing her alive made her extremely guilty. After all, she was the one who caused this.
“Mom,” Orion called her.
Debra Russo snapped out of her thoughts and immediately smiled. “Come in quickly.”
Luna looked at the ever-changing expression on Debra’s face and couldn’t help but sneer in her heart. She hated Debra Russo to death, but she still put on a smile. “Hello, Mrs Russo.”
“Hi, come on in.” Debra turned around, afraid to look at Luna. For some reason, she felt like Luna’s gaze was sharp, as if it could see through her heart. It made her afraid to make eye contact.
Orion held Luna’s hand and led her upstairs. Once they entered the room, Orion hugged Luna and asked, “Shall we get married?”
Luna’s eyes turned icy cold. This man made her live under the same roof as the person who hurt her, and now he wanted her to marry him. He was taking advantage of her memory loss to be so shameless.
“I don’t remember our relationship anymore. I… don’t want to get married.” Said she.
Luna didn’t want to marry him. She agreed to stay here with him just to seek revenge on the person who harmed her, revenge on this selfish man.
“Okay, I’m not in a rush. We can rebuild our relationship.” Said Orion.
“On my first day here, let me cook for you.” She didn’t want Orion to hold her. She found it disgusting.
Orion agreed and took her downstairs.
Luna entered the kitchen, and just as Orion was about to help, Debra pulled him out.
“Orion, tell me the truth, did she really lose her memory?”
