The door opened quickly and Orion said, “Come in quickly.”
Freya was also anxious, “Where is she?”
“She hasn’t woken up yet,” Orion replied.
“Then I came too early,” Freya said.
“Have a seat first. What would you like to drink?” Orion asked.
“Just some juice,” Freya replied.
Orion poured her a glass of freshly squeezed juice and handed it to her. Freya drank half a glass and then went to see Luna. The door opened, but she saw Luna still deep in sleep, so she gently closed the door. Little did she know that at the moment she closed the door, the person lying on the bed opened her eyes.
Chelsea Ramirez’s eyes shifted. She really wanted to know if she had truly lost her memory. Was her name really Luna?
So she quietly got up, barefoot, and walked to the door.

Freya entered the living room and whispered, “Is everything settled with your family?”
Orion made a soft “hmm” sound. “The Holt family has no hope of making a comeback. I’ve also divorced Haley, so I have the final say in the family now.”
Freya hesitated for a moment and asked, “Did the Holt family harm Luna?”
Orion’s eyes evaded slightly, trying to hide his response. “Yes.”
Freya saw his expression and asked, “What’s wrong? Is there more to the story?”
Orion remained silent. It was hard for him to speak, to say that his mother was the main culprit behind Luna’s suffering. Although it was Haley Holt who instigated others in the family to manipulate his mother, his mother did take action. Technically, his mother was a murderer. Although he had dealt with the Holt family this time, he did not hold his mother accountable.
“If you don’t want to say, then forget it.” Freya didn’t press further.
“No, hmm…” Orion shamefully spoke up, “My mother was also involved in what happened to Luna.”
Upon hearing this, Freya thought to herself that she should have stopped asking earlier. Orion was surely conflicted in his heart. One was the person he liked, the other was his mother. He was caught in the middle and it must have been incredibly difficult for him.
“Tell me, how did you find Luna?” Freya changed the topic.
“When we were having dinner on the boat that day, didn’t I tell you that I saw someone who looked a lot like her? I followed your lead and secretly investigated her, even had a DNA test done. She’s not just someone who resembles Luna, she is Luna,” Orion said. “After she was attacked, a middle-aged couple saved her. They had lost their own child and couldn’t have any more, so they selfishly kept Luna, who had lost her memory, as their own daughter and gave her a new name.”
Freya whispered, “She has suffered.”
Orion hung his head, “It’s all because of me.”
“What are you planning to do from now on?” she asked.
“I… have selfish intentions,” Orion admitted. “With everything that has happened before, it’s actually better that Luna has forgotten. If she remembered, she would probably never forgive me in this lifetime. I see this as an opportunity.”
Luna had forgotten everything. As long as she accepted him, they could start anew. It was indeed a selfish thought.
Freya couldn’t make decisions for Luna either. “This time, are you confident that she won’t be hurt again?” that was what Freya cared about.
Orion replied, “Absolutely.” And he responded with great confidence. As long as Orion could protect Luna, Freya would be at ease.
“It’s probably time for her to wake up now.” Freya said.
“I’ll go check.” Orion got up.
Chelsea quickly returned to lying in bed, pretending to just wake up.
