Orion turned around and saw a woman who looked just like Luna. In an instant, he lost his rationality and rushed towards the woman.
“Luna,” he called out.
The waitress turned around. Seeing a decent-looking man, she asked, “Sir, do you need anything?”
Orion stared at the waitress. His eyes were about to pop out of their sockets. This waitress not only looked like Luna, she was practically identical.
“Luna? You’re still alive?” Orion was excited, on the verge of tears and laughter.
But the waitress thought he was crazy.
“Sir, are you mistaking me for someone else?”
Ignoring her question, Orion hugged her tightly. At that moment, the dishes in the waitress’s hands fell to the ground. The delicious food spilled all over the floor. The woman thought she had encountered a thug, a hooligan. She struggled and screamed, “Help! Somebody help me!”
“Luna, what’s wrong with you?” Orion frowned, not knowing how she got so scared.
The woman’s face turned pale.
“Have you forgotten about me?” Orion stared at her and asked.
All the waitress could see in his eyes was fear. “Let go of me right now!”
Their commotion attracted attention.
“What’s going on?” The manager walked over. He glanced at the mess on the floor and quickly smiled apologetically at Orion. “Mr Russo, what happened? Did she not serve you well?”
Orion’s mind was clouded. Although this waitress looked exactly like Luna, she seemed to have no idea who he was. Besides, the way she was frightened just now did not seem like an act.
What was going on? Had she forgotten herself?
“What’s her name?” Orion asked the manager.
The manager replied, “Her name is Chelsea Ramirez. She has been working as a waitress here for two months. Do you know her, Mr Russo?”
Orion said, “Yes.”
“I don’t know you.” The waitress hid behind the manager and accused, “He’s a hooligan.”
The manager reprimanded her softly, “Watch your words. This is Mr Russo.”
Orion often came to this place for social gatherings and thus the manager knew him. But this waitress was the first time Orion had seen her. He couldn’t believe that there could be someone who looked exactly like Luna.
She must be Luna.
Maybe when she was in danger, someone saved her?
But she lost her memory, so she doesn’t recognize herself?
The more Orion thought about it, the more he believed in this possibility.
“You look so much like a friend of mine. I mistook you for her just now, and I apologize for my rudeness,” Orion explained, afraid that she would really mistake him for a hooligan.
Chelsea Ramirez wasn’t so easily convinced. “Stop sweet-talking me. I won’t believe you. You’re just a hooligan…”
“Chelsea,” the manager scolded, interrupting her, “Don’t talk nonsense. Mr Russo is not a bad person. He is also a frequent guest here. You can’t be impolite. If you continue to behave like this, I think you should quit this job.”
Chelsea Ramirez didn’t want to lose this job she had finally found. She bit her lip, feeling wronged.
The manager ordered, “Apologize to Mr Russo.”
Chelsea Ramirez didn’t want to. But now she was afraid of losing her job. Therefore, she reluctantly kept her mouth shut.
Orion waved his hand at the manager. “I don’t need her to apologize.”
“…” The manager didn’t know what Orion meant. “You can go back to work.” He waved his hand again.
“Mr Russo, if you need anything, just let me know. I will personally serve you.” with that, the manager led Chelsea Ramirez away.
But Orion kept his gaze fixed on Chelsea Ramirez. In his heart, he vowed to investigate her thoroughly. Whether she was Luna, he would find out.
“Orion, what are you doing?” asked Freya. She went to the restroom and came back to see Orion standing there in a daze.
