Stephen Brown put on an innocent look, “I didn’t investigate you, someone gave me the information.”
He played the innocent act so convincingly, it almost seemed real.
But Ten Holt wasn’t a fool to easily believe him. He just couldn’t understand how Stephen Brown managed to find out about his hidden and long-forgotten past. The people who knew about this had all died.
“How did you get hold of this information?” Ten Holt knew that Stephen Brown’s intentions were not as simple as extorting money from him.
Stephen Brown continued to feign innocence, “I really don’t know who sent it to me.”
Ten Holt slammed the table in anger, “What do you want? Tell me clearly. If you still bear me a grudge because I exposed your affairs, I’ve already given you the project, I’ve even paid you off. Why do you continue to plot against me?!”
Stephen Brown blinked his eyes, “Plot against you?” He quickly waved his hands, “I didn’t, I have no evidence. You can’t falsely accuse me, or else I’ll have to get the police to help me out.”
Stephen’s words were clearly a blatant threat. The mention of the police struck a nerve with Ten Holt. The pain in his chest was unbearable. He clutched it tightly.
Stephen Brown thought to himself, was Ten Holt going to have a heart attack?
“If you’re going to die, please don’t die at my place, it’s bad luck,” Stephen Brown called his secretary, “Should I call 911 for you?”
Ten Holt struggled to find his voice, but the pain in his chest left him speechless. His face turned pale. And it seemed like he was about to faint.
Stephen Brown had his secretary call 911. Just as the secretary dialed the number, Ten Holt collapsed. He had fainted from anger!
Stephen Brown raised an eyebrow, “Tsk tsk, he actually fainted?” He was disgusted, but he didn’t have anyone move him. If someone really died, he wouldn’t be able to explain himself.
“Your father-in-law has fainted, aren’t you going to come out?” Stephen Brown walked over to the sofa and sat down.
A door next to him opened, and Orion walked out from inside. He glanced coldly at Ten Holt before sitting down on the sofa without a word.

Stephen Brown knew that things weren’t that simple. The mention of Luna in that recording was likely the key. But he didn’t reveal that. After all, he had made a big profit from working with Orion this time. Why wouldn’t he take advantage of it?! Besides, knowing too much might not be a good thing.
Stephen Brown poured coffee for Orion, “I’m really curious, how did you uncover such hidden secrets?”

That was a really good location. It was no wonder Ten Holt would go to such lengths to obtain that piece of land, causing others to suffer.
“Okay,” Orion readily agreed because he really needed Stephen Brown’s help.

Stephen’s secretary came in and said, “The ambulance is here.”

On the other side, Freya arrived at her new residence. A villa on a mountainside with water in the front. There was only one road leading up, hidden among the bamboo groves. The villa was surrounded by three layers of defenses. There would be someone monitoring 24 hours a day.
Even if the person monitoring became negligent, once someone entered the radar surveillance range, an alarm would be triggered. It was almost impossible for even a bird to fly in here. Moreover, everything, from daily necessities to all necessary items, had been arranged in the villa.
