Dina had a diamond necklace around her neck, the one Elijah asked him to retrieve.
“Dina, what are you doing?” Evan frowned.
Dina turned around, visibly flustered when she saw Evan. She was at a loss for words. But in her mind, she was thinking of a way to explain herself.
Evan stepped closer, looking at the red velvet box with a complete set of diamond jewelry inside. It was obvious that someone had tampered with it, and he didn’t need to guess that it was Dina.
“This set of diamond jewelry is quite valuable. It was obtained by Mr Silverton many years ago by chance and has been kept in the bank’s safe deposit box.
