Chapter 345 Is He Dreaming Again?

Book:You Are My Mr Right Published:2024-6-4

Freya was shocked, stunned into silence, momentarily forgetting how to react.
Did he discover something?
The thought made her swallow nervously.
Elijah stopped just one step away from her. “What are you afraid of? You’re so ugly, do you think I would even have the desire to touch you?” he asked, then turned and walked towards the edge of the bed.
Freya furrowed her brows, thinking to herself, “Are you insane?”
Well, he was indeed insane. And his condition was not mild.
Freya brought a chair to the end of the bed, and Elijah had already laid down. She began to massage him. Her technique was precise, with just the right amount of pressure, truly bringing comfort. Elijah slowly closed his eyes. He actually enjoyed this feeling of being able to drift off to sleep.
Meanwhile, Freya struggled to stay awake as she continued massaging him. Fortunately, this time Elijah fell asleep early. When she tried to get up, her hand was grabbed. She looked down at the man lying on the bed.
Was he dreaming again?
She tried to free her hand but Elijah held onto it tightly. Unable to break free, she sat on the edge of the bed, thinking that she would leave once his grip loosened. However, as she waited, she ended up dozing off, leaning on him.

Freya didn’t know how much time had passed. She woke up groggily. Her arm had gone numb from being pressed against it. As she moved her arm and tried to get up, she realized there was no one on the bed. When she looked up, she saw the man standing not far away. He was still wearing the same bathrobe from last night, but there was no sign of just waking up. Clearly, he had tidied up.
“Get out,” Elijah said, his voice carrying a cold air.
Freya blinked. “Did I offend you?”
“Who gave you permission to sleep in my room?” His anger was simmering. Elijah woke up to find her sitting on his bed, and even lying on top of him. He was annoyed and furious.
“You were the one holding my hand, so I…”
“Get Lost!” Elijah didn’t want to hear any explanations. He didn’t care if it was his fault or not. All he knew was that he didn’t want to see this ugly woman again. He wouldn’t allow any woman other than Freya to be so close to him. It was infuriating that she had even held his hand. He was angry, furious, not because she was ugly. But because it made him feel guilty towards Freya. There was a sense of betrayal.
If she hadn’t been tired, Freya wouldn’t have slept next to him last night. She walked out with her head down, passing by him and catching sight of his reddened hand. It looked like it had been vigorously scrubbed.
Did he have OCD?
How did she never notice before?
“My condition doesn’t need your treatment anymore, and you don’t need to come here again,” Elijah lifted his chin, looking proud.
Freya asked in confusion, “Is it because I’m not a good doctor?”
Elijah turned around, his back facing her. She was a good doctor. She could even treat his insomnia. But reluctantly, he said, “Not really.”
Freya felt a little disappointed to have her skills denied. “Then I hope you find a good doctor and recover soon.” After saying that, she left with large strides.
As soon as Freya left, Elijah called Evan over. “Get ready, we’re going back to our country.”
“Now?” Evan wasn’t sure. “Your condition was just starting to improve…”
“When I say we’re going back, can’t you understand?” Elijah was a little impatient, cutting him off directly. His face turned dark. Evan felt like he didn’t understand why Elijah was suddenly angry.
Wasn’t everything fine?
Why did he get angry so easily?
Was he back to his old self again?
It hadn’t even been a few days yet.
Evan plucked up his courage and said, “I saw Ronan buying food for Dr Jane, and they were sitting together, eating at Dr Jane’s place. I feel like their relationship is not normal. They obviously know each other, but when they met at the door yesterday, they pretended not to recognize each other. I feel like there’s something fishy going on.”
Elijah narrowed his eyes.
Dr Jane and Ronan knew each other?
This was indeed unusual.
“Check it out.”
