Brendon looked at her with cold eyes.
“Ranita… Aren’t you going to explain?” he asked.
“What’s there to explain? You already have the evidence, don’t you? I don’t want to talk to you right now. Please leave!” Ranita paused, then opened the door. “Otherwise, I’ll call security.”
Brendon’s heart was already burning with anger, and he left without looking back.
The door slammed shut behind him.
His heart seemed to sink into a deep abyss, and his mind instantly became calm. Brendon turned around and knocked on the door. “Ranita…”
“Go away!” Ranita growled lowly, and there was no further response.
“Ranita!” Brendon knocked on the door, but Ranita ignored him.
Brendon was in a state of chaos, spinning in place. “Ranita, can I come in and talk?”
Ranita heard the knocking but didn’t want to pay attention to it.
She changed her clothes and was about to call Olivia when she heard Ayaan’s voice at the door. “Mommy! It’s Ayaan!”
Ranita instantly smiled and went to open the door.
But the next second, her smile disappeared, and she raised an eyebrow at the tall man beside Ayaan. “Why are you still here?”
“Mommy, what’s wrong? Did you fight with Daddy?” Ayaan reached out and grabbed Brendon’s finger, his watery eyes filled with grievance. “Mommy, please don’t fight with Daddy, okay?”
“The book says that fighting is not good.”
“Mommy didn’t fight with Daddy. Ayaan, don’t think too much.” Ranita waved her hand. “Come in quickly!”
After speaking, Ranita gave the man a fierce look when Ayaan wasn’t paying attention.
She hoped Brendon would back off.
But Brendon pretended not to understand, took a long step forward, and followed Ayaan inside without changing his expression.
Ranita gave Brendon a fierce look in secret, feeling overwhelmed with anger. The corners of her eyes turned red, and she stared at him with a seductive gaze.
Ayaan climbed onto the sofa and immediately went to look at the books he had read before. Ranita went to pour water, and Brendon followed closely behind.
“Ranita…” Brendon approached her from behind and took the opportunity to hug her waist. “Are you angry?”
Ranita pushed his hand away and lowered her voice. “I’m not angry. Ayaan doesn’t want me to fight with you. Let go quickly.”
“I won’t let go!” Brendon had already let out his anger when she gave him that tender glare earlier. “I was too loud just now. I’m sorry.”
Brendon, who was so gentle, was like a soft cotton ball.
Ranita was deeply moved.
Suddenly, Ranita felt a ticklish sensation on her neck as soft lips lightly brushed against it, coincidentally landing on the red mark.
Ranita was kissed until her limbs turned weak, and her heart burned with desire.
“What are you doing…” She spoke in a hoarse voice. “Ayaan is here…”
“If you speak so loudly, Ayaan will really hear!” The design of this room was quite unique. The bed faced a feature wall, with the other side of the wall being the sink and a kettle, separated by a corridor leading to the bathtub, shower, and toilet.
You could hear the sound, but you couldn’t see what was happening.
“You!” Ranita couldn’t speak anymore.
Brendon’s kisses had moved from her neck to her clavicle, slow and meticulous, as if he was kissing a precious treasure held in the palm of his hand, full of tenderness.
Ranita was engulfed in this intense affection.
Her breathing became hot, and her mind became a bit hazy.
Ranita dared not speak, so she could only tightly hold onto the man’s hand, hoping he would loosen his grip a bit. But Brendon was like a bandit, kissing and speaking in her ear, “I was just jealous earlier.”
