Brendon continued, “I have formally brought up the idea of calling off the engagement to her family elders.”
“In the future, it’s none of my concern what Shannon does! Mom, you don’t have to tell me specially!”
Brendon hung up the phone indifferently, his stern face slightly flushed from the slap he received from the Murphy family elders.
