“Bad luck?” Brendon held his phone, biting his back teeth as he read Ranita’s reply. With difficulty, he typed out a response, “Actually, he’s not that bad.”
“Tall and handsome, makes money, smart and learns quickly… He has many good qualities…”
Ranita glanced at the message, rolled her eyes, and replied angrily, “Enough already! Don’t mention him to me! And don’t waste your money buying me flowers. I’ll be checking out soon.”
“If you come to Slovenia, everything is on me. Accommodation, meals, and entertainment. But you must not tell him about my whereabouts.” This was followed by a string of addresses.
Brendon was speechless.
He suddenly regretted taking Allen’s phone.
Wasn’t he just asking for trouble?!
Brendon was angry and didn’t care what time it was. He called Chris and asked, “Are you busy?”
“I’m about to start a meeting!” Chris sounded exasperated. “What’s the matter?”
“Did I tell you I met Ranita in Berlin?” Brendon paused and continued, “She gave birth to my son…”
Chris replied irritably, “So what?”
“You don’t seem surprised at all?”
“I have a meeting. I’m hanging up!” Chris hung up the phone directly. Brendon squinted his eyes and, belatedly, cursed out a swear word!
Steve knew, Chris knew. Was he the only one in the whole world who didn’t know?
Brendon called Chris again, his tone harsh. “Chris, you and Steve are both good at stabbing me in the heart.”
Then he hung up the phone in a childish manner.
Chris had a meeting and didn’t return the call. Instead, he replied, “You deserve it!”
Brendon was speechless again.
He had initially wanted to talk to someone, but now he was even angrier!
Ranita packed her things, but before going to the airport, she visited the police station and met with Julia. Brendon was indeed powerful, even in a foreign country, he could still prioritize the “special treatment” of certain people.
“Miss Parker, why did you hurt my child?”

Facing Ranita, Julia didn’t want to admit defeat.
Ranita looked at Julia and suddenly understood. Julia was secretly in love with Brendon?!
But none of this could justify her harming Ayaan.

I have been working hard in society for many years, fluent in eight foreign languages, proficient in more than three. I can earn money and live well wherever I go!
