“Ranita! This heartless woman!” Brendon was fuming with anger.
Brendon rushed to the front desk to inquire about Ranita, but the receptionist politely refused him, saying it was a guest’s privacy and they couldn’t provide any information. If he knew her as a friend, he could contact her directly!
Brendon’s face turned black with anger.
He had been blocked. How could he contact her?
“Mommy! Wake up!” Ranita had stayed up late packing after changing hotels and now found it hard to get up.
Ayaan squatted beside her with his chubby smiling face and called out softly, “Mommy, who is calling you? You need to wake up!”
“The sun has already risen.”
Ranita giggled as she opened her eyes slightly and saw Ayaan’s cute chubby face. She reached out and touched his head. “Good morning Ayaan. Are you hungry?”
“Yes yes yes!” The little one nodded eagerly. “Mommy, can we go for breakfast at the buffet? Coco said that the hotel buffet is delicious.”
Ranita earned money for herself so she didn’t skimp on booking good hotels – of course their buffets were great too.
“Sure! I will wash up first then we’ll go together.” Pausing briefly, Ranita pinched Ayaan’s cheek and praised him, “Ayaan, you’re such a good boy; you’ve even dressed yourself nicely.”
The little one showed off his neat teeth, “I even brushed my teeth this morning too! Am I great?”
“You’re amazing!” Ranita smiled sweetly as she hugged him tightly before planting a kiss on his cheek.
When Ayaan was born, she had been anxious about not being able to take care of him or educate him well enough but luck seemed to be on their side. Ayaan was very obedient and smart; he didn’t need any nagging from her at all – truly an angelic baby.
The little one giggled as Ranita kissed him, then crawled out of bed before Ranita got up. He hurriedly ran to the bathroom, tiptoeing and trying to fetch Ranita’s toothbrush.
But he couldn’t reach it for quite some time.
The little one ran back, diving into Ranita’s arms. “Mommy!”
“What’s wrong?”
The little one looked at Ranita with a pitiful expression, pouting and saying, “Mommy, I can’t reach the toothbrush!”
Saying that, the little one grabbed Ranita’s hand and went to the bathroom, feeling extremely wronged. “Mommy, you put it too far away!”
“Oh!” The little one suddenly became quiet, pondered for a moment, and asked Ranita, “Mommy, don’t you think this room is different?” The little one’s eyes sparkled like a little light bulb. “Could it be that you can do magic, like abracadabra!”
Ayaan, he truly was her source of joy!
Ranita constantly felt grateful for the decision she made to keep Ayaan. It was such a correct decision!
He was just too adorable!
“Yes, I used magic! Not only is the inside different, but the outside is different too!” Ranita teased the little one. “The buffet later might also be different from what Coco told you!”
“Yay! I love it!” The little one happily jumped up. “Mommy, you’re amazing!”
The little one happily went with Ranita to have breakfast.
The weather was nice, so Ranita took the little one to a nearby square to feed the pigeons. After soaking up enough sun, Ranita led the little one back to the hotel. “Ayaan, I have to work now. Coco will come over later, so you can play for a while, okay?”
“No problem!” The little one obediently played in the room, reading and drawing, completely forgetting about going to find the handsome guy!
