“Brendon! What are you doing?” Ranita’s head was spinning as he had her pinned against the wall.
How did Brendon find her? Was he following her?
“Let go!” Ranita shouted in anger.
But Brendon not only didn’t back down, he also stared at her.
The pressure hit hard, making Ranita’s heart beat faster and faster.
She pushed him away, but Brendon shamelessly used his body to press against hers. Their bodies were so close that they could feel each other’s warmth.
As they tangled together, something strange began to ferment between them.
“Ranita! Where is your phone?” The man towered over her and suppressed her until she was almost enveloped in his arms.
Ranita moved a little and the man immediately grabbed hold of her wrist. His long legs pressed against hers to keep her from moving.
“Hmm?”
His warm breath fell lightly on the nape of Ranita’s neck. The pores on her neck seemed to tremble along with it. She swallowed subconsciously. “If you don’t let me go now, I’ll call security!”
“Where is your phone?” Brendon took out his own phone and dialed Ranita’s number directly, but it kept ringing without an answer. “Ranita, you liar!”
“You blocked me?”
Caught red-handed after doing something bad was really embarrassing for her.
But since she had been caught anyway, might as well be bold about it: Ranita raised an eyebrow and chuckled lightly, “Mr. Stuart, did you come all this way just to verify whether or not I’ve blocked you when it’s so late at night?”
“Hehe! I knew you were not trustworthy!” Brendon said in a low voice, his gaze falling on her collarbone.
Ranita keenly sensed the burning intensity of his gaze and angrily pushed him away. “Brendon, what are you looking at?”
She pushed him aside, adjusted her bathrobe, and spoke in a cold tone. “Please, Mr. Stuart, leave!”
“Ranita, unless you promise to remove me from the blacklist, I’m not leaving!” he insisted.
This person was actually being unreasonable?!
“Brendon!”
Brendon released her and glanced around the room, but he didn’t see the little one! He wanted to ask, but he was afraid that Ranita would flee with the child if she found out.
It wasn’t the right time to startle her!
“What do you say? If you agree, I’ll leave immediately!” Brendon shrugged, raising his eyebrows slightly, incredibly provoking.
“A person should have a conscience. I saved your life, and yet you blacklisted me without intending to show gratitude! The moral decline these days!” he added, even more deserving of a beating.
Ranita glared at Brendon.
It had been four years since they last saw each other, and the man’s physical appearance hadn’t changed much. He was still tall and stern, but how did his temperament become so annoying?
“Are you looking at me like that because I’m not wrong?!” he asked.
Ranita grabbed her phone and released him from the blacklist right in front of Brendon. “Now you can leave!”
“Before repaying your debt, I hope you keep the phone lines open!” he said.
Ranita glanced at him coolly. “I’m busy. If you have something to say, say it. Now please leave! I need to rest!”
Brendon was finally driven out.
He stood in the hallway and called Caleb, asking him to bring his luggage to this hotel. He was going to stay here too!
Ranita changed her clothes, went to the assistant’s room to pick up the still sleeping little one, and went directly to the parking lot. She quickly changed hotels.
Ranita added Brendon’s phone back to the blacklist and happily went to sleep.
Early the next morning, Brendon came and rang the doorbell, but no one answered for a while. After waiting, he saw hotel staff coming to clean up, and only then did he find out that the woman, Ranita, had actually checked out!
When he tried calling again, oh well!
He was blacklisted once more!
