“Don’t go, what if she does something bad to you again?” Holly accused Ranita of her misdeeds. “She has caused you to be hospitalized several times and even made you lose your child. She is the most vicious woman in the world, and yet you are still so kind to her.”
“She won’t be grateful, only more malicious!”
Holly grabbed Shannon’s hand and continued, “Don’t let her surface fool you!”

Ranita turned around and was surprised by what she heard! Did she beg them to come visit? Ranita couldn’t help but roll her eyes.
And Holly caught it.
“Ranita! What are you doing here? Do you have no shame eavesdropping on our conversation?”
This was adding insult to injury.
Ranita sneered coldly with a sideways glance. “You were talking about me in public. Why blame me?”
“You!” Holly impulsively charged forward but was left red-faced when Ranita retorted back at her. “Did I say anything wrong? Wasn’t it that Shannon got hurt because of your actions multiple times?”
“Shannon doesn’t hold grudges against you because she’s generous, but don’t take advantage of that.”
Ranita chuckled, “Holly, you’re truly a clever one!”
Clever? Was she complimenting her intelligence?
Holly, feeling confused, asked with a sneer, “Ranita, what do you mean? Are you insulting me?”
“No, I’m praising you,” Ranita paused, “I’m praising your discerning eye, having such a kind-hearted person like Shannon. Understand?”
Holly instinctively felt it wasn’t a compliment and stared with widened eyes, “Ranita, what are you trying to say? Don’t use words I can’t understand! And, I saw you coming back in my brother’s car! Do you even know your own status? How dare you cling to my brother…”
“Sorry, it was Brendon’s insistence on driving me back; I’m not that interested,” Ranita said, her gaze sharp as she looked at Shannon, “Miss Murphy, I’ve made it clear; I don’t want to see you. Stop bothering me!”
Shannon immediately looked aggrieved, her eyes turning red.
“Ranita… I’m just worried about you. Holly and I were playing nearby, and I impulsively thought of coming to see you, maybe have a good talk,” Shannon explained.
“You’re always so confrontational. Can’t we talk peacefully?” Shannon had a talent for provoking others’ anger.
Ranita frowned, her tone cold, “Shannon! Can’t you understand plain words? I said I don’t want to see you and don’t want any interaction with you. Please don’t assume otherwise!”
“What do you want to talk to me about? Discussing how great you are with Brendon? Talking about your generosity and kindness, how you act hurt without blaming me for it? Thanks, but no thanks!” The anger that had been brewing inside Ranita surged.
“Shannon, don’t provoke me again!” Ranita said and turned to leave.
“Ranita, stop! What’s your attitude? Shannon came to visit you with good intentions, and you act so arrogant! I’ll make sure to tell my brother how you treat Shannon!” Holly yelled, blocking Ranita’s way, cursing loudly, “Ranita, do you think being pregnant makes you arrogant in front of me? The child in your belly might not even be my brother’s…”
Ranita looked at her coldly, her patience with Holly worn thin.
“Holly, you keep saying the child in my belly isn’t Brendon’s. Do you really wish your brother being cheated on?” Ranita sneered, her voice full of mockery, “You’re indeed Brendon’s good sister!”
